Thanks so much for posting this! My favorite approach as a passenger to date, in an AA Embraer E175 (if memory serves). I was lucky enough to be seated at a left window for the turn on to final. I've been dying to share the visuals, words barely do it justice. Excellent audio quality and editing, too! 👍
I feel this was on 7 October. Even the announcement is familiar. We had had to change aircraft on Piarco after a generator failed after take off. The captain was aware that many people were making a London connection in BIM. They did a great job.
In this video, I'm no pilot but notice, tower did not provide vectors to the airport, it was visual pilot guided themselves in , no final approach vectors, tower is not coached using callsigns when contacting flights/pilots .. as I say I'm just watching wit my popcorn n seeing the flaws... pilots gotta b soldiers to land at douglas charles...

Tower n pilot randomly use identifiers... it's not consistent.. pilot bla bla bla.402.. identified. tower just speaks, instead should ident 402 when speaking all the time

Looking very professional. Job calls for much trust with ATC ...its very easy to be led straight into a mountain with such poor visibility
