Very cool! Your method of teaching/demonstrating is excellent. I never thought of doing this type of project but, watching you has inspired me to do one.
Thats just awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. I reckon the 'cardboard' king thing is because people can imagine 'doing that' in an ordinary 'home' without the next stages for the rock faux. Anyway, best channel on earth!
That's a very well executed blueprint where you assess each stage while considering the whole. Cardboard king? I reckon you may very well be that, but just by watching how you came about handling each stage sensitively, and the care you give to details which end up compounding to great effect- that's effectively an universally applicable craftsmanship. Cardboard, styro, steel armature, wood, milk cartons, paperclay, plaster of paris, old socks 😜 You may have more experience with some materials more than others, and granted, some do lend themselves to be more appropriate than others for what you do. That doesn't change your skill, if anything as you have more experience you tend to know more about materials and processes, which enables you to orient your choice in a purposefully specific way. Thank you for sharing your work ♥️
I love it - I'd love to know what material to use to coat the cardboard - I'm wanting to make rocks to go around my gardens - some big "boulder types" (not huge though) - and around my trees. And maybe make something just decorative. I'm an old granny - but hey, I'd love to try this. Really love what you made.
Well, thank you very much for your positive feedback. I really do appreciate you watching my video. As far as what I coded the cardboard with prior to applying the mud, it was just a simple acrylic glue
Well, I’m glad you enjoyed watching my video. I do appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and provide excellent feedback. I don’t recall exactly how much it weighed. I’m gonna say about 70 pounds.
A quick question, do you put a protective product on the front box? If not, you have an idea for a product with a letter on the cardboard so that it does not deform or absorb water. Thank you for your response. great video Thanks.

great video Thanks.
Yes, I pre-spray an acrylic glue onto the cardboard so that it cannot absorb water as you placed the Cement coverage. Thanks for watching my video.
Cardboard and screws... welcome to the marriage from hell.
I don’t know… I’m dining very well in that marriage. Thanks for watching my video
