I had a gamecube when I was a teenager, but I never had money for the real great games. My parents hated video games so they never would have bought me one. So glad I can fix this now in my 30s, so many great games to play. And so many I wanted to play back then!! It´s never too late :)
Thanks for this list! The GC is still my favorite console of all time (mostly due to nostalgia). I love that you put Star Fox Adventures at no.1. Somehow this is surprising as it doesn't get mentioned/picked that much, but if you're really looking at it, there's so much going on. The water phyics, lighting, textures and especially character+facial animations are great. Kind of makes you wonder what Rare could have done with the Gamecube if they'd stayed.. Edit: PS, also very nice transitions between the games! To me, the transitions in your best looking wii games felt a bit disconnected, but this is spot on! Keep it going!
Lol first I want to say, that's hilarious about people mean eyeing you for RE4, I think we've all got that with some game before!... Do you ever play RE5 any? If you've got it on PS3 you can use the move controllers and it feels identical to RE4 Wii. Yes Star Fox having normal/bump mapping on so many different models and environments, the things you mentioned as well, all at 60fps.. It was a monster of a game on GC. Also thanks for the compliment of the videos in general but ESPECIALLY the transitions, I've had some not so nice comments about choices with transitions and the awful free domain music used during the transitions in these top videos. lol I know, the music sucks. Not like im bumping that crap myself XD.... man.. Feels good to have something positive to know im moving in the right direction! I could've just done a simple slide or fade to the next game in my lists but I get to messing around in the video editor and want to experiment! could come out cringy or cool but I'm moving based on input like yours, Thanks man!
And a sad fact is that Starfox Adventures was also the last console game made by Rare for Nintendo :( Rare didn't do much good after being bought by Microsoft.
It looked incredible but I think a swap for any game I have here would just be down to taste, not right or wrong. So many good memories playing that game though!
Wow, it was competing against the ps2 wasnt it? I remember first playing on a ps2 in a store, i was shocked by how bad it looked, but maybe it was just a bad game
Can't have them all or I'd keep ya here all day man! but yes it deserves in a top list. I did play it a little back in the day and everyone in my house thought it looked fantastic.. I would also recommend eternal darkness be on another top gamecube graphics list.

Phenomenal list. I believe most of the games here showcase what the Gamecube was capable of when devs actually cared about the hardware.
Rouge Squadron 2, SMS is what made me buy a GC back in the day.
100% agree on the number 1 spot. Gorgeous piece of a gem.
And all that at 60fps, insane.
Rareware really were the masters at pushing the limits of each console :]
@@Lum2022 If I play emulation games I still mostly go back to their games, Xbox really killed Rare putting them on the Kinect department.
Such a great line up of nostalgic games! Crazy to see how advanced those are graphically for their time!
Indeed, Gamecube was such a incredible step up from N64, Dreamcast and Playstation (1). And a lot of the games still holds up to this day.
I absolutely love Mario sunshine just a proper chilled game. Epic list 👑
Love the list. Only one I would have added at top 3 is Wind Waker, definitely.

F-Zero GX is another stunning game
The Gamecube is on my best ever consoles list 💙
"in no particular order"
Star wars rogue squadron 2....😱💥💥💥💥
And a sad fact is that Starfox Adventures was also the last console game made by Rare for Nintendo :( Rare didn't do much good after being bought by Microsoft.
The fact Eternal Darkness is missing from this list is criminal
It looked incredible but I think a swap for any game I have here would just be down to taste, not right or wrong. So many good memories playing that game though!
Eternal Darkness is okay looking, it does not represent the true power of the GameCube.
007 nightfire is the best looking game with realism styling. Melee is the best overall graphics. Windwaker is the best cartoon graphics.
All marvelous
for me the best home console
Star Fox Adventures is great.
You forgot F Zero GX (My number 1), Soul Calibur II and Wind Waker.
F-Zero GX should be place one considering 30 pilots on track at these graphics and still running smooth on 60hz with no fps drops whatsoever
My pick would be:
1. Resident Evil 4
2. Soul Caliber 2
3. Star Fox Adventures
4. Metal Gear Solid Twin snakes
5. F-Zero
6. Star Wars Squadron 3
7. P.N.03
8. Naruto 4
9. Smash Melee
10. Metroid
11. Luigi's Mansion
12. Wario
13. Resident Evil 0
14. Zelda Twilight princess
15. Zelda Windwaker
Surprised MGS: The Twin Snakes wasn’t on the list
Wind waker
Wow, it was competing against the ps2 wasnt it? I remember first playing on a ps2 in a store, i was shocked by how bad it looked, but maybe it was just a bad game
Metroid Prime 2
Twilight Princess was a verrrrry big deal when it came out.
No Metroid Prime (1)?
resident all plapforms
mgs?

Here I am and thinking that will was better. Guess not
10:50 music, please?
Its the intro music of Crystal Chronicles.
@@Emerald-Bearer Thanks!
Melee?
Starfox Adventure was the closest to pixar movie as game could be at the time.
