1:20 - show me those critics, because then they don't know shit about metalcore. ABR are one of the few metalcore bands that actually write true heavy metalcore (almost without cleans, so no selling out or appeasing to mass audience) AND are universally praised in the scene for their music and how consistently good they are. Also not fans of ABR generally agree on this.

One of my favorite aspects of ABR is the element of Truth in their lyrics. That line, "righteous wrath wrapped in empathy," is something that goes right down to the very essence of God, which is the balance between Truth and Love within Awareness. If you look up the phrases, "Truth without Love," or, "Love without Truth," then you'll see what I mean...
Truth without Love is a brutal killer, and Love without Truth is a lying hypocrite. It's only in the incorporation and balance of both that harmony can exist.
Love of Truth in Awareness is the Trinity of God.
This is my own unique perspective and message to the world. You don't have to be a religious person to understand the values of Awareness, Truth, and Love.
On the one side, you have Truth and Reason, and on the other side, you have Love and Compassion.
Balance those.
Look up "balance mind and heart" on Google and look at the image results. You'll find a picture of a person walking a tightrope holding a balancing pole. On one side of it is a brain, and on the other side is a heart. At the bottom of the image is the word "Life."

At the end breakdown with the lyrics, whichever one of the guitarists came up with the chords is a genius. There are 2 chords in there that always make me smile because they are so unique and unconventional. "B-grade metalcore band"... That's an opinion that is easily disagreed with.
