Nice video, I ❤Rio, lived there for 10 years. My husband lost his wallet once and his phone twice in taxis and the taxi drivers always brought it back to our apartment. It was refreshing how honest they were. Most people do Uber now but if you take a taxi, take it from a taxi stand, or get a car that has the taxi stand logo on the side of the car so you can get in touch with them should you lose anything. Never take a taxi that has just numbers on the side/not affiliated with a taxi company/dispatch. Safe travels!

VANDERSONS! Rio is a kuhrazy f'ing city. So tightly packed in. Huge blocks of...been awhile...favelas(?). Agreed on the options in the city, plenty of cool places to eat, good nightlife (that goes through the wee hours) and good outdoor options. I'd hate to drive the town (we had friends who lived there so they tooled us around). But, sh!t happens, glad you got the camera back. For riding down crazy hills...welp...some advice - DON'T RIDE DOWN CRAZY HILLS! LOL! You may/may not end up getting pretty jacked up! 🙋 The sk8rz only care about the vibe you put out. If they see you feeling it, they do not care. *Some seriously nice parks you come across. Very surprising to me of the condition, which could simply be me viewing a 3rd world and tying it to skate park? Ya know. But, that didn't really exist during my adventure daze. It became more prevalent in the late 90's/2000's. At least within the U.S. and after we landed back here after six years of being away (it could have been around before that time but it was VERY RARE we came back to the states during that time). I live in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and without a doubt we have not much to show in the big city whereas in Rio there is so much to see and do, most likely more than a week is needed!!!! you'll find lovely beaches on your way down to Montevideo... Good luck.🤪
