It doesn’t do the zombie films justice but god damn if it doesn’t get stuck in your head after awhile lmao apparently necessary edit: the Rob Zombie films..
I'm thrasher, but over the years of becoming a guitarist and broadening my music preference, I learned to slow down. This song just groves so well and the chorus is powerful. People hating this song are normie to hardcore stuff and I find that ironic personally. One of the best on the album hands down.
I just discovered this band last month and loved them so much I just bought tickets to see them in concert in Baltimore....making this only my second concert ever and I'm in my 30's. I spend money on nothing for myself but after the concert sold out I was even willing to pay above face value for these tickets. I'm so grateful I got these tickets and I'm so excited to see them in concert!!! I love you guys
The chorus is freaking amazing. Also a really heavy song would ruin the mood for me. Yeah, the movies are brutal but a certain heaviness would destroy the message in my opinion.
For me a lot of the songs from both albums got skipped cause I didn’t feel like they did their movies justice… I’m just now at a point where the first album has no skips, still working on the second. What makes me like the songs after awhile is that it’s fucking ice nine kills, and these tracks are fucking incredible ice nine kills songs.
Favorite thing about this song is that my first time listening to these my friend wouldn't tell me what songs went to what movies. Some I'd seen a million times and were easy to guess, some were a little harder, and some were movies I hadn't even seen before. But this song. I love this song. Out of context though, This sounds like a queer counter-culture anthem. And I fuckin love that.
The Devil's Rejects has been my all-time favorite movie since I saw it. It's a perfect movie. The song has a little more of a White Zombie vibe than Rob Zombie.
One of their most underrated songs. In the same league with Farewell II Flesh in terms of not being appreciated enough. Also wtf, the album came out 4 years ago?!
I love this band. Heard of them through Octane's Accelerator, which played "A Grave Mistake", and then this morning I heard "IT Is The End" On the Big 'Uns Halloween Countdown, and started listening to this album afterwards. I love the music they put out!
I love the Horror movie theme this whole album has. Don't ask me what my favorite song on this album is. That's not a fair question and i plead the 5th.
I would have to say my favorite is either enjoy your slay or thank hod its friday thank god its friday is just a beautiful balance of clean and scream but enjoy your slay its just idk how to put it, its just good
Honestly I’m glad that INK threw in a few more hard rock/ alternative songs in this record (SAVAGES gives me a very Papa Roach feel and this song emits Skillet vibes while still being catchy and original ) But if you look at their past releases they have never really put out anything like them, mostly sticking to a pretty heavy sound with few cleans.Even in “Every trick in the book” mostly every song had verses which were unclean vocals. That being said it’s very impressive to see the dynamic range of Spencer’s vocals. He can rock out any sub genre..and honestly I just think those boys were just trying to mix it up.Nonetheless this album rocks hard and sets itself apart from the rest with a unique grim aesthetic that I can’t get enough of,keep up the great work Ice Nine Kills!
This is one of the few songs on the album based on a movie I hadn't heard of before. Apparently it's called _The Devil's Rejects?_ Sounds really interesting. I'm getting very slight Orwellian vibes from the lyrics as well
If i remember right, The Devil's Rejects is a Rob Zombie movie. Been forever since I've watched it so i dont remember what its about anymore, but Rob Zombie horror movies are fan-fucking-tastic so if you're interested its out there ^-^
The Devil's Rejects is one of my favorite movies. It's a Rob Zombie film, and it is the sequel to House of 1000 Corpses. Both movies are good but a lot of people enjoyed The Devil's Rejects more then the first movie.
idk why people think this song and svages are the weaker ones, there just not as heavy and a little more generic but there still fucking amazing to me. my opinon tho
The entire album’s a masterpiece, but those two are definitely the weakest songs (in my opinion) because they are a little more generic than the rest. They still kick ass, but they aren’t the best. I love every single song on the album, but if I had to pick two to cut those would unfortunately be the two. This is just my personal take, and again, I still love these two songs and the movies they’re based on.
I think the reason for savages not being a big favorite is because its pretty repetitive but its still good and this song idk its a good song i think people just dont want to be thought of as lets say a generic art major thats the best way i can think to explain why people may hate on this song
This is the most underrated song on the album! It gives me vibes of bands and genre I loved as a kid! It is incredible, catchy and the lyrics I feel so hard!!! Never fitting in, never feeling part of the norm! It's becoming my favourite from INK ❤
Didn't know this is a hated song but i can tell you why: It just doesn't have the same energy that a lot of INK songs have and it's not as heavy as it could be
A Grave Mistake isn’t heavy and last I checked that was their most popular song. I think it’s hated because people didn’t like Devil’s Rejects, which I don’t get, I thought it was a solid movie.
this song has too similar of a chord progression to "The Heart From Your Hate" by Trivium for there not to be a mashup of these two songs (at least in the chorus). Like I frequently find myself singing the background "Oh"s from THFYH over the chorus of this song and it goes SO well
Anyone else think this song would make a great warhammer 40k music video of the xenos, demon and traitor races flying their many flags against the imperium? Because I do.
The Silver Scream PT 2.: The Ring,The Fog,Candyman,Resident Evil,Piranha,Slipknot My Plague cover,Grudge,Hostel,Wrong Turn,Hannibal and Jeepers Creepers...and myb Terrfier
@Joshinator Hahah yeaah but I still wanna hear song for The Fog that could be interesting. But I think they will not stop on part 2 they will continue with silver screams
DUDE im glad i was not the only person that though chris would have been a good feature like going through the album this song especially he would have fit in so well
Savages and this song are the weaker songs in the album for sure , perhaps not terrible but the other songs are so much of a banger that these get left behind, i really like this chorus tho
I think this one is the weakest song in the album, I mean all the album is just a masterpiece, but this one is the weakest, people says SAVAGES is weak too but I really like that one
My ex loved this song and I ruined our relationship by saying a lot of hateful things about her mom and other things she liked now I just come back to this to feel absolutely dead inside and hope I die the next morning
One of the most underrated songs on the album, amazing track and album!
For sure! This song is beautiful, along with all the others.
The world in my hands is the most underrated song.

In year 5, when my school did shrek the musical, one of the songs was called freak flag.
I prefer this.
good
Our schools is doing the Shrek play this year and it's the same song. Prefer this too
They should of added the line from the movie "im the Devil, and im here to do the Devils work" would of been a perfect line for a breakdown lol
"Thy Bidding" by Spite used that line. I agree
It was used in a song by Dr. Acula. 😁
it was used in stabbing in the dark :/
@@noahdouglas2390 no
well a line very similar

Would’ve been badass to get Rob Zombie featured on this song
Does he even still put out music?
Yes he does
I agree and Spider One from Powerman 5000

I just love how they can go from screaming nonstop to a beautiful song like this
I love this song. I don't understand the hate for it, I guess it is a little more generic but still, the chorus is amazing.
I think the reason people would hate it is because the movie seems a lot more brutal than the song. Still a great song and the lyrics kick ass lol
The chorus is freaking amazing. Also a really heavy song would ruin the mood for me. Yeah, the movies are brutal but a certain heaviness would destroy the message in my opinion.

That's what I thought. I had to pause spotify, come to youtube, and check the comments to see if anyone else caught it too.
I think i hear some Motionless In White influences as well, i just don't know what
What movie is this based off of?
The Devils Rejects
Nine Inch Nails sounds pretty different 🤔

Motionless in Kills. 😍❤
What about nine kills in white? @alegreparanadaalegre
motionless in ice , i mean cmon it makes sense xD
