- In this epic Total War Warhammer 2 custom scenario on Total War Warhammer 2, the Forces of Order and the Forces of Chaos square off in a 3v3 Subcommanders battle with the Wood Elves, Empire, and Bretonnia trading blows with Chaos, Skaven, and Beastmen in a match that goes right down to the end!

Great replay, thanks. More sub-commanders please. I always like it in these huge battles when there is some sense to the two sides, e.g. order vs. chaos. Its really immersion breaking when you get wacky mixes of factions that would never fight side by side.

At least the videos game is better than table top and is actually RTS, not peanut butter table top.
You know, handgunners are actually a far superior armour piercing DPS ranged unit to waywatchers. They have slightly lower missile damage but have 23 more models and cost half the price. In spread-out battles like this, the firing arc wouldn't be much of a problem either.

At this point they should let you build an with access to all unit rosters. I think it would really spice things up. Imagine the synergies of lords and units from different factions

I feel like chaos had a better build for sub commandor. Skaven= range, chaos= infantry and beastmen= cavalry
Now forces of order had WE= range, brettonia= cavalry and now the bad part empire= had to split funds between artillery and a mediocre frontline.
Little side note. I feel like bringing the sunmaker instead if two normal hellstorm would also be better just for having better accuracy. Or maybe even a second great canon. Normal hellstorm almost never pay for themselves. Did you know who will take which part or was empire expecting a wider beastment frontline and chaos cav?
Skaven werre already powerful pre warlock patch. Now they're unstoppable. Nothing is safe from jazzails. They will selectively delete your key units.
They were frequently cited as the weakest WH2 faction prior to the DLC.
Jezzails are a very, very good unit but they really didnt make a significant impact on this battle. They earned 1 chevron and spent their most valuable time firing into a regenerating flying lord with a 44% missile resist buff

ok, thought for Warhammer 3, unit gifting mechanic. Basically if you're using three armies, you can gift units to other factions, but they won't receive your faction buffs and whatnot. I really want a subcommander where everyone only controls certain types of units and this could fix that and still keep it thematic, another downside is that it would still cost your points, that way empire can just buy a bunch of cheaper better units in tandem with their great artillery
Gifting units could work for dogs of war to show how they serve as mercenarys

Would be the RoR version of the Skaven jazail's. I believe they are Natty Bubos Sharpshooters. Normal sharpshooters fire green projectiles, but the RoR version is purple.

I expected as much honestly. Whenever Any army other than the greenskins fight the forces of chaos even if they win the battle it usually ends with pretty much every unit dead or routing coming down to a lord or a few heroes facing a bunch of stubborn as fuck chosen.

They should add in a mythology faction, with cyclops, Minotaurs, half-horsemen etc... that would be fuckin cool
