Hunting really isn't even about bagging game. It's about spending time in God's great outdoors with people you love. Great song it brought tears to my eyes because the last thing my daddy and i ever did together and the last day we were together was go hunting. it was a bummer day didn't see anything but just being together in the woods one last time. Not a bad way to end a run together. I beleve in hunting and conservation and the future of wildlife and the woods so like the song say's pass it on.
Love this song and glad i stumbled acrossed it!!! means alot to me my granfather is 84 years old and still climbs his way up into a deer stand bright and early in the morning on opening day of firearms season and even when he dosnt see a single deer he still enjoys it and i love having 3 generations of the family in the woods at the same time!!!!

I put a lot of time and effort this year to try and bag my first deer. seen deer all archery season but were to far. yesterday was the first day of rifle. Everything went the way I thought it would and I tagged my first buck.

This past October I volunteered at a youth hunt he was the Vice President for and he was so proud. He always bragged about me. Same here man. I have always been taught to respect nature, don't take what you won't consume, and always leave the land and waters as they were when you got there. I am now in college earning my degree in hydrogeology so I can do my part in protecting the woods and waters for many generations. Hunting and fishing are huge in my family too. My dad has never been more proud of me then when I shot my first buck, he was so proud he had tears in his eyes. Nothing like being outdoors with family!

been hunting with my step dad since the first day i met him i was three i will never forget the elk hunt with him and grandpa. im 15 now and have got more animals then most people i know thanks pa and grandpa for teaching me the ways of hunting

Absolutely love this song. At University of Missouri studying fisheries and wildlife sciences, about to make a career out of conservation and hunting. The Wisconsin gun deer season begins in just under 4 days. I am pumped! Due to college I haven't made it out bowhunting this year which really hurts. I'll be out most of the 9-day gun hunt. Then I have to wait until the spring turkey hunt! At least there is ice fishing here to hold me over. Good luck everyone and have a safe hunting season!
