- CSX Train Passes Railroad Crossing & Before Gates Go Up A 2nd Train Passes In The Other Direction! This Caused A Turner To Leave The Wrong Way On A One Way Street. CSX Train With GIGANTIC Safety Training Tank Car Crosses My Favorite Railroad Crossing & Norfolk Southern Train Passes In Opposite Direction! 2 Trains Passing Twice In One Video! These trains are in Hamilton, Ohio.
First a CSX mixed freight heads northbound over a railroad crossing in Hamilton. Just as the end of the train passes and before the gates can go up another train shows up running southbound on CSX. A really cool car at the front of the line arrived for the first train. The driver got upset when he saw the second train approaching so he turned onto a side street going the wrong direction. Not a railfan lol.
Then we see a CSX mixed freight heading south at the next crossing to the north. This train had a huge safety training car on it. Look how big that tank car is! While that train was passing a second mixed freight showed up in the opposite direction! This was a Norfolk Southern train running north on CSX en route to the NS New Castle Sub. That was awesome getting two trains passing twice!
Don't miss the Live Action Pets and the slide show that comes from the video.
Filmed Saturday, April 27, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

Wow, thanks for that! I really appreciate your support! That really does help for the gas and I am very grateful Mark!
@JawTooth you are very welcome, I love your videos, anyway I can support your channel and your hard work it's my pleasure
Can't believe that driver risked that! A vintage car in pristine condition going the wrong way on a 1 way street is asking for an accident! That intermodal train was one of the longest I've ever seen, 206 cars! Another great video, Brian! My dad used to work in a paperboard mill here in eastern CT, the covered hoppers were likely full of a powdered clay used to coat the paper. His car used to get covered with the stuff! The mist would occasionally vent into the open air, anything nearby would get a light coat.
how do you know it was in pristine condition?
@@uuuultra Come on, man. Why you gotta ask that? Look at the car!
Intermodal's of that size are pretty common in the area. Both NS (Cincinnati Terminal) and CSX (Queensgate Yard) have massive yards in downtown Cincinnati and these tracks head straight for them. I don't know if CSX owns both tracks here and NS just has track rights or if NS owns the Western track but about two miles north of here the NS trains split off and head north west towards Muncie Indiana while the double track main continues north east towards Dayton Ohio.
Loki is super wound up and Brandi could care less with Chessie somewhere in the middle. Running the whole gambit there. That's funny! 😊😊😊😂❤❤❤❤❤
Another fabulous mixed freight with 156 cars! It the safety training car which is possibly used for hazmat exercises. It also had lots of box cars including a Chessie System car. I just love that! Thanks, JT. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Great grab of long trains passing each other. That safety tanker car was cool. Thanks for the look around the old paper mill. Thanks JT. ❤
Thanks for watching!
Wow JT! A super long intermodal I counted at 207 cars. Very impressive and a splendid catch! Amazing. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Looked like the guy in the classic car had some other place to be in a hurry. I would've appreciated some header noise and tire smoke. Most papermills had a lime plant for slaking lime to make bleach liquor for turning the paper white. Chlorine would come in tank cars and lime rock in covered hoppers. The chlorine would be mixed with slaked lime to make the bleach liquor. Awesome video, enjoyed it much. Thanks JT!
That was a 1964 Pontiac GTO first in line across the tracks that peeled off.
I knew it was an early 60s Pontiac, but couldn't tell exactly which one.
@@chrishauser5505didn't ask
Yes first year GTO. He got tired of waiting
Since its a GTO from 64 😮its got to be in Pristine condition ❤
Watch the slide show @ "31:19" 😊
Thanks for another fantastic video JT have a great Sir greetings from Scotland 😊
Thanks, you too! Hello in Scotland!
@@JawTooth keep up the good work JT thanks 😊👍
Those trains are huge, long and massive, that's wonderful. Great video Jaw Tooth!
Thanks for watching!
Nice to start the week with great trains that was a cool tank car
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in Hamilton, Ohio, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much.
Glad you like them!
That’s a great video JT. Just imagine all that tonnage on the highways!
Yes, it is really saving the roads
I used to live in Cumberland,Maryland. I remember more than once waiting at the Baltimore Street crossing for a train. Just West was the Grafton diversion,Two tracks so on a rare occasion there were FOUR trains at the same time, one coming from Grafton, one going to Grafton, one coming from Sand patch and one going to Sand patch.
Jaw tooth you know when people recognize you they are thinking to themselves “O crap here comes a train”.
What a spectacular video today JT! Fantastic trains throughout, and I love seeing your pets play like that. After a second look, the black car could also be a 66-68 GTO instead of a Chevelle. I'm not sure. What I am sure about is you producing amazing videos, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This was one super video!! Huge trains, unexpected 'tail to nose' passings, and Loki at full throttle. WOW!!
One of your best videos yet, JT.
Keep safe and we'll keep watching! (I'm slowly getting caught up - still about 6 behind)
"The Lord will keep you on track"
Glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate your support and have a great week!
You always know where the best places are to spot the action ! Thanks for the hard work Brian . YOUR THE BEST ! B!essings to you and yours 🙂✝️
Thanks, you too!
That was very cool. The second train had around 200 lorries. Amazing.
207
Thanks JT. Dont know what it costs you to get the train crews to meet up where you want them too, but, keep it up.
Thanks again!
You got that right! Its luck and it is always fun to see
Hey jaw tooth awesome catch 2 trains passing twice in one day. 4trains total. As a tail fan I always love seeing red lights flashing. The only lights I enjoy stopping for. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
thanks for watching Lesa!
@@JawTooth welcome
Mad driver should relax and learn to watch trains
Lol, yeah I agree. He was lucky and he didn't know it
Entirely possible the old muscle car may have had an overheating issue idling and not moving and they start hard when hot....I know...I have one but also love trains !!
maybe had to pee really bad
typical egotistical boomer
For real!!
Once I’ve seen the RR sticks dropped down, I quickly turned around!
When I worked in a business form printing facility, we had at least 8 HAMILTON printing presses that were made there in Hamilton Ohio.
Awesome!
From a car driver's perspective, I admit I'm glad we don't have very long freight trains here in New Zealand! 😅
That's true! I can't blame him for getting upset. He got there right when the first one came
@@JawTooth hay jawtooth today I am going to Hamilton weter pant have you ever have any issues there
@@Daytontruckstrain No, I have never had a problem there. I always park on the right side of the road right before the crossing. One time the police were trying to catch someone just down the tracks and they came over to the plant to see if the guy ran over there. Lol. But they never bothered me
Here In usa we do
@@nickpatrick1636 - I usually speed these videos up once the locomotives (the _best_ part) have passed through! 😂
I don’t know why I watch this railway passage. But I do and it’s almost hypnotic. Can’t stop watching it.
I only ask for a little more color in the dialog. Describe the unusual more. Give us a count of the railway cars that pass at the end. Can you define if this is outgoing freight or empty cars?
But overall very enjoyable
All I have to say is WOW!
Nice job catching them trains, jaw tooth Keep it up and be safe while rail fanning please
Great catches today. Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
That building is awesome, JT! So cool 😎 ! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
@@JawTooth Thanks for getting it!
When the gates didn’t go back up I knew another train was coming
I was hoping for that and I got blessed. I hope the drivers weren't in a hurry
An excellent mixed freight to start with, JT! Ì counted 138 cars. Great catch. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much!
@@JawTooth You're quite welcome, JT!
Great video JT. That GOAT @ 6:30 was Awesome, good catch😉! And thru exaustive research I have concluded that Loki pup is the best thing you've ever done for Chessi as well as Brandy and Norfi.
Relax and enjoy the view 😎🚂
Amazing videos Jaw Tooth keep up the good work
Great video JT. Love that Hamilton live action
Some great footage there JT. That is a long time to wait at a railroad crossing.

We have vault doors made at Mossler Safe Company in Hamilton Ohio hung at our business in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia. Good to see a busy America 🇺🇸

thanks for watching!
Jt I checked out the bnsf race track here in Lagrange I'll and I saw some cool intermodel trains and some amtrak it's a. Busy line that would be great video
What a train, what a train!!
They really do make some trains just too long. When they brake down the poor conductor has to walk the whole length
Omg Brian the two trains back to back twice same crossing awesome 👏 I was just curious if the city of Hamilton has any plans for those abandoned buildings? Thank you for the look inside….. I hope no one was hurt in the structure fire 🤞
Great video JT! Nice catches!
🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃💯👍🇺🇸
Thank you very much!
Woah! The car that turned was a 1964 Pontiac GTO!
Cool video. You got a lot of action that day.
Thanks 👍
Another awesome video from Jaw Tooth. That driver needs to learn patience. The day is not going to go any faster. Have a nice day 😊🌈
Thanks, you too!
Cool catch in the thumbnail!
That sure is an interesting freight car. It is huge. Thanks for watching!
That Black car I believe was a 1966 GTO. That safety car was cool, never seen anything like it. Great video JT👍👍

Good video Brian. Like you I’ve never seen a safety training tanker car

Boy at 80 years old I wish I had one thirty second the energy of Loki
Me too. If I had that much energy I could get so much stuff done. He has only one speed: Go
from 13 days ago , how did I miss this video 😅 good stuff
Thanks for watching!
Looks so good! Thanks!
Thank you too!
Beautiful video as always!
I remember seeing safety train cars years ago on the Hell Gate Bridge Viaduct during the spring of 2014 in Astoria, NY when my daughter was still in elementary school. They were on the rear of a regular freight train, which had an SD60M, SD40-2, and a New York and Atlantic SW1001 for power. The switch engine may have been dead. There are other tanks, boxcars, flats with containers, even a safety caboose.
Nothing like two manifest trains in a row!
You had a great day Love those meets and that 64 or 65 Pontiac Tempest that belonged to the guy that went the wrong way Fantastic
Thanks 👍
I name drop you on my video Rock On 6 Minute Mark! Anytime I see a train you pop into my mind Jaw Tooth! And I never knew doors in front of the train! Take Care and Be Safe! Michael and Jenny.
Awesome and thanks, I will check it out for sure! I was supposed to go to an AC/DC tribute band concert in Mt Orab on Saturday night and I totally forgot. I was in West Chester and missed one of the best summer concerts. We have about a half dozen a year. Yes, the door on the train is how the crews board the train. There is also a bathroom in the front of the locomotive lol. Not many ppl know about that. I hope you are having a great start to the week
@@JawTooth We seen a tribute AC/DC band a couple years back they were fantastic!!
Wow lots of trains (long ones) and two train meets. Cool video. 👍❤️
Thank you very much!
Another great catch two for one special.great video
Thank you very much!
Great video I would love to see how the rail cars are handled at the depot, love the slide shows as well 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
When visiting family in Fort Wayne, IN over Thanksgiving, I didn't get a chance to see it, but they were talking about the NS tracks finally being elevated. People were sick and tired of waiting on multiple long trains blocking traffic.
Sounds like a gap in the track somewhere. #2 train quite. BISCUITS ARE READY GOTTA GO. 👍💯🤠🐱🐶
Thanks for watching and enjoy the biscuits!
4 long trains runnin', 2 at a crack! A nice ol' Poncho Goat, too. Great video, son!
Glad you enjoyed it
Double the trains . Double the fun. Double the live action. That's a great day of trains sun 😉😉🚂🚃🚃🚃
Glad you enjoyed it
I enjoyed that video👍👍
Gm Brian hope you are doing ok feeling better from your surgery and car going the wrong way
Thanks, I am still having trouble getting over that. Eventually I will
@@JawTooth you still shooting in Ohio where you off too next
Another awesome video. You gotta love Hamilton. I don't think they allow short trains😂. 2 train meets good catch. Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Thanks for watching
That car looked like a 66 or 67 Chevelle to me, JT, and ND it was a nice car!!! 😊😊😊❤ ❤❤❤❤
I think so too! When I was in high school my friend drove a Chevelle. I drove a Ford Fairlane lol
@@JawTooth I had an Impala and then a Challenger.
Yep, I was thinking a '67 Chevelle
Nice catch on the safety tank car.
Thanks 👍
Great action Brian.
Thanks Steve!
Awesome video that safety car was an catch.
Yeah thanks!
When I started this video, JT, I knew I was "in for a treat"...that horn @0:53 said "Second Generation power on its way". and -- sure enough -- two (original) SD40-2's in charge, complete with the patented "Hamilton echo". Listen to those "bad boys" wind-up as they cover the grade crossing..."bad-ass" railroading, CSX... ✊👍👍
Thanks for watching my videos and commenting!
Hello JT that's the second car you have shown me that I've never seen before . Thank you . Cleveland says hello
Fantastic film 🎥
Many thanks!
Look at those old CNW hoppers
Chessie System car went by unnoticed.
I notice them every time I see them. I used to live by the Chessie system in several spot. They were my favourite railroad in the 80s
That one driver should learn to just stop and enjoy the show no matter how long it is and learn how to drive. And Loki is just a little ball of fire and loves being the center of attention. Also can’t forget the awesome big trains on display. Awesome video JT.👍🏼
I totally agree!
22:33 Those are 86-foot auto-parts boxcars, and yep those are some b-i-i-g puppies...
I have models of them in O scale (Lionel made them a few years ago), and folks in the hobby call them "layout shrinkers"
Jawtooth my boy.hello from Southern California. you rule dawg
Thanks!
Nice 64 Goat
Thanks for watching!
A few years ago the 2nd locomotive on the first train, CSXT 8137, was trailing behind one of the CP locos used in the "Unstoppable" movie out here in MN. I did get a video of the train.
wow, that is cool!
Great video, son!
