Almost all the characters in this game are boring, slayer is one of the interesting characters. you must keep suppress your opponent or under pressure.Formost of the characters,you cant figure out the player is professional or not.Not like sfv, as i said slayer is interesting,but he is rare.
give me a fighting game that has more interesting characters lol. Guilty gear by far has the most intriguing roster. Every character has his/her gimick.
Jiafei GG do have many good characters ,but that was not what I meant.i like to play this game and i know you like it too.but there is many disadvantages I cant ignore.dont belittle other game because you like this one.
You say you can't tell if a player is professional or not with most characters. My friend was watching me play casuals at an event, and the one thing he thought was neat about it was that the best players would still undeniably clean house, there was cool shit that even the weaker players would pull off. He primarily enjoys sfv, but he was talking about how the game is boring to watch outside of high level because he says it often feels the opposite, where the lower level matches feel much more polarizing. I think it's because in GG with the amount of tiny interactions among many wildly different MU's, the space for small improvement within the same skill plateau is much larger, as opposed to sfv where the plateaus are comparatively more flat, making the difference between each jump that much more readily apparent.

Is that why at top 8 frosty faustings last week there were 8 different characters? An in top 48 every character except potemkin?
