Good day, would you be so kind to ask the manager or the team members why are they holding my deposit without a sign contract. I made a deposit on a spilt unit in the month of September 2020 without signing a contract. I was told by Michelle that the first set of units are sold out and they had sold my first unit because I did not post a deposit. Currently May 19 2021 I yet have not receive a balance of $50,000.
We need to know if this is standard and why is it not written in their contract? Why taken a even number of $50,000? Why can’t they explain the contract?
I hope to save someone from making the same foolish mistake I made with this development.

@@kayb9154 I engaged with the sale team to buy a unit there. But their response is very slow and I don’t feel comfortable with the progress of the whole project. It is taking forever. So I stopped before reaching to the point of giving deposit.
Thank you for sharing and for letting us know about the 3 and 4 bedroom units coming up, I am interested in seeing those when they become available. The only issue I have with this development is the road leading up to it....Needs repaving.

Thank you for always showing us these new upcoming developments we appreciate you. Now who ever designed these house it's not well put together the refrigerator can not even hold in the kitchen properly, the livingroom and kitchen are very choppy. However I like the tiles and the bathrooms the bathrooms are well designed but back to the kitchen you don't even get a proper counter/ work area to do your preps for someone like me that loves to cook that kitchen would frustrate the hell out of me each time I go to cook. I also like the fact that they give a separate laundry area very smart of them most houses don't come with that,but I got to say the design could have been better. Certain part where the kitchen and living and dining room meets could have been better designed there are wasted realeste in some of those areas. And the fact you can't add on on the house is a big no for me it's way too small for my family I guess these houses are for a couple with only one child.

Not at all, it is really sad. If they had given a reason or if I had sign a contract then it would have been understandable. But no response to multiple emails and phone call.
I spoke to their attorney in January while I was on vacation and another attorney spoke to their in March 2021, we both got the same response which is he advise his client to return my deposit.

Who makes a model unit which poor quality, the first unit should always speak volume.
More so they still owe me money on my deposit and refuse to give reason why they took the money.
Usually if your attorney advise you to return customers deposit and you refuse then why would the attorney continue to represent you?

Thanks for showcasing. Was this a desperate attempt by the developers to sell to desperate home buyers? There is nothing nice about these homes, unless one wants to own a piece of the rock for renting, Airbnb etc. Better if they had just built a studio, instead of a “house “
Beautiful prices especially for the 3 and 4 bedrooms split levels, I would love to see those designs. However, design for this 2 bedroom could've been better for dining and the kitchen areas. Otherwise, it's good.
If it was a little bigger the price would have been worth it.

No addition allowed means you are not permitted to the construct anything on the existing building.

Thank you for always sharing, Contents well sort out. I would not invest in this if I am unable to extend. The house is already ugly I would have to give some touch to suit my taste. The layout of the Kitchen counter needs more space. The laundry room is already crammed, it could have been a little wider. For a master bathroom that also could have been better in terms of space. the master bedroom would have been a bit more spacious. I must say though that the tiles are a plus. The second bedroom needs a makeover, but I get the message that it is too small. The fact that you are unable to extend then what they should really have done is to make it make spacious for $18 million dollars.

The first attorney they offer to us quit and that should have been my hint to not participate in this development. Before she quit she told me not to deposit until she rectify the issues with the contract. Michelle the leading realtor told me they my previous unit was already deposited on and I would get my “full” return once I don’t sign the contract.
Not to mention here in the states, we can not take someone money if the contract clearly state that a signature is required to withhold any fees.
We had an attorney in the states contract their attorney but claims he can not speak to another attorney if he’s not bar in Jamaica so I had a attorney in Jamaica contract their attorney then he told the attorney that he told his client to return the deposit.
It has been over two months!

Trust mi every time mi watch one of these house tours mi wonder if a just one architect inna Jamaica. All a di house dem have the very same ugly design. From Portland to Westmoreland. All a di houses look di same way. Uglee🤔. I'm okay if they all look the same but pretty. But same ugly design with just a bit of variation here or there. I'm hoping the architect will read my comments and be motivated to design something better looking for the next project.
