    Yo thanks for the TL. I think it's cool how both sides view each other. Both wishing to speak the other language to enjoy the content more and communicate.
    Really makes me want to learn JP after seeing how far Alban has come tbh

      I think learning another language can be worthwhile, but only if you've got the while to spend on it.
      Alban, for instance, interacted with Inui and Furen on the two's Minecraft date and amazed them with his JP skills. I'm jealous.

    This was in January. And Toko showed up in Lazulight's debut watchalong. So Toko has been watching Elira consistently all this time.

      Inui and Elira really like each other and they sometimes appear in each other's chat! I'll see if I can clip some interactions between these two. I definitely want to clip their first collab, which will be happening this Saturday!

    I feel the same way about anyone who's multi-lingual because it's incredibly difficult...especially once you're older...to learn additional languages. I actually did pay attention in school when we were being taught our second language but honestly the structure was such that you weren't able to retain it past taking the tests because you never got the chance to use it in actual spoken conversations. I recently heard a story from someone who's I guess half Japanese who grew up in a different country and his mother actually wouldn't respond to him unless he spoke to her in Japanese which forced him to keep up his linguistic skills in that language despite English being spoken far more commonly around him and as an adult he just sings the praises of his mother for doing this because he has a highly sought after skill set that has served him incredibly well in his life.

      For many people, myself included, being bilingual is not that big of a deal, because their second language is English, which you can use very easily in real-life scenarios while learning. I do agree not being able to do that can make things more difficult-even my high school Spanish teacher often said we would never learn Spanish if we didn't use it outside of her class. Which is why I think people (and kerberoses) making an effort to learn a foreign language are really admirable. It's far from an easy task, and usually not something you turn into a career. Inui really is amazing.

    I learned some basic Japanese from anime before actually taking some lessons, so I believe in her.

    Not sure if it's just me or if it's because I'm not watching her often enough, but Toko often feels a bit cold,
    like she's not saying that she loves us or not showing too much of her feelings, but in reality she actually cares a lot. She might just be too shy or embarrassed to say how she really feels
    Thank you for the translation~

    • @KerberosTranslations
      @KerberosTranslations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I can understand why one would think she's cold! She sometimes does say her feelings of gratitude towards her fans and such out loud, but it's rather rare. We can more often see it through her very casual banter and back-and-forth with her fans, which I hope I'll be able to translate a lot of!
