Why do people keep holding Kiffin not winning a CFB championship against him? Only 2 current FBS head coaches have won a national championship. - Kirby Smart and Dabo Swinney.
unfortunately, Lane seems to always be the topic. Fake injuries, Lane's fault, despite many others doing the same thing. Lane killing the portal again, everyone piles on he's tampering, despite Lane just being the best at the portal and very organized. Lane misses the playoffs, guess he was the only one in the country. Lane tweets just having fun, of course Lane is immature and disrespectful. I think we all can see a pattern. People love to click on anything about Lane and always take the incorrect negative view. Lane is a really good coach but isn't perfect. He's not a PC type guy which says the standard coach speak, he gives his opinion whether people like it or not. Opposing fans cuss Lane but when they all have a job opening most want him badly. Lane has settled into Oxford and he'll put good teams on the field yearly.
I'm not sure where you are getting that question based on this interview. Winning a national championship and making a 12-team Playoff are not the same thing, especially with a $15 million roster that was capable of smashing the eventual SEC champions. Not making the Playoff was a failure IMO
@@ThatSECPodcast Zero doubt missing the playoffs was a disappointment. The title to the podcast was will Kiffin ever lead Ole Miss to playoffs not if this one season failed. Ole Miss would have been in a 12 team playoff in 2021 and 23. They came up short this year. Also, Kiffin didn't have a $15 million roster. That figure has been created by various people that is not accurate. I guess the point is media comes up with non stop hot takes on Lane and this take is asking will he ever make the playoffs. This answer is he will, I agree not making it this year was a fail but only a fail for this season It was also a fail for DeBoer at Alabama, Cristobal at Miami and dozens other.
Ole Piss catches all the heat because their fans want to talk all this shite when they have done absolutely nothing. Lane goes out and purchased a 20 million dollar roster and again talking all this shite and surprise…nothing. Stop running your mouths and actually win something.
@ThatSECPodcast What is always missed here is that Kiffin was the one who got the high quality team together in the first place to even make it a contender. Best 4 year run for Ole Miss in the recent era. He will be a contender again next year. Talent-wise, Alabama and Georgia had more according to pundits; Alabama also went 9-3 and missed the playoffs, and Ole Miss stomped Georgia. But I don't hear all the talk about those "failures". 2024 was a disappointment for the Rebels, but not a failure--just a step toward a championship run for Ole Miss. BTW, check the current portal standings, as well as the best Ole Miss high school recruiting class in a long while.
🔥 HOTTY TODDY🔥 @ SEC Mike, my brother love the Show , I love you & Cousin Shane but brother O.M. is the Little brother and everyone plays OM hard and they hate too lose to us, we ain't going nowhere but up ‼️ p.s. Lane Kiffin and Pete Golding ain't going nowhere 😁🔥 HYDR ‼️
He better do it before the schedule rotates and he gets more tough sec teams. He gets easy ones in beginning and high ranking then meets good teams. He won't stay long enough. He already courted auburn.
Quite the DJ how he spins this. The goal was playoff or bust called Last Dance... they missed however since they got a good recruiting class this year is not a bust.... A lot of money was spent to go to this whatever bowl. Lane is a choke artist and no doubt boosters won't shell out this level of cash for long
"Last Dance" was invented by QB Dart, referring to him and the other players who were leaving after this year. It was not about the team or the Ole Miss program, which is on a roll.
I wondered if anyone would know about how much money for example a 3 star ,second team offensive guard could get in nil $ at a sec school. This is not a real person . I’m just amazed at this nil stuff. Thanks
I know a kid who plays for a decent D2 program. he was a freshman this past season. backup OL. He has all his living expenses paid and 2500 a month in NIL

It feels inevitable on one hand, a forlorn hope on the other. It has been a literal lifetime.
