Why not have a draft for all 5-star players. I know there are things that would have to be worked out. Like limit or have a top pay for 5-star players. I think that would also level the playing field.
Why should we level the playing field? Why ahould programs that have spent more money building their athletic departments and facilities be punished for programs that don't want to put the time and expense into building that kind of program?
Why are all these coaches trying to cap NIL deals? Let’s start by capping coaches salaries! Last I was in Oxford, and I’m there a few times a year, I have never seen a jersey with Kiffin on the back!

I don't even know what I really wanted to express but now with NIL a freshman dorm loaded with sports cars won't be unique to a school in middle Alabama. There are few perfect circumstances and no perfect people .
He just ran away recruits with those cap comments 🤦🏽♂️
Why not have a draft for all 5-star players. I know there are things that would have to be worked out. Like limit or have a top pay for 5-star players. I think that would also level the playing field.
You're on drugs .. a draft for smh . DB
Why should we level the playing field? Why ahould programs that have spent more money building their athletic departments and facilities be punished for programs that don't want to put the time and expense into building that kind of program?
I’m no LK fan but he’s exactly right.
Why are all these coaches trying to cap NIL deals? Let’s start by capping coaches salaries! Last I was in Oxford, and I’m there a few times a year, I have never seen a jersey with Kiffin on the back!
Ole Miss already has four quarterbacks for next year.
Players still want to play at Alabama, even for less NIL. Not every dumb player, but plenty of smart players
Lane you're the last person to talk about morals the way you snuck out of Knoxville in the middle of the night after not even a yr!
People are allowed to take any job they like. Who would want to be in Tennessee when you could be in Southern California instead!?
Lane is letting you know he could still get him
That's not happening.
lmao
Down the line in the transfer portal?
Why would he leave Texas? Doesn’t need the NIL money. Sark is pretty good at developing young QBs and the Mannings are happy with that aspect. They are playing the long game. NFL 250M contracts are the goal. One or two mil right now isn’t the closest gator to the canoe.
and you are letting us know you are clueless lmao
Sark. Is the reason
They trust him more than kiffin.
No college kid coming out of high school should be getting millions of dollars that's not good at all now I'm not saying they should not be paid for their services but it has to be a cap on how much student athletes are allowed to get I believe that 500,000 should be the max over a 4-year period the way things are going now it's only going to do nothing but hurt the kids the student athletes are going to get big headed and don't want to listen so when they pull that money from them and kick them off the team because they did not live up to the hype those days are coming
This is dumb. So when he signs a top player it’s not about money?
Lane will be leaving ol’miss to coach at Florida.. bet on it !
It doesn't matter he has to win.
This is exactly why he will end up at Auburn.
Miami should have hires Lane. The U would be back
Plus, who wants to go to school in Oxford, Mississippi when you could go to Austin, Texas?
Oxford was selected as the best college town in the country. Austin is a blue tidy bowl flusher.
No, I’ll stick with Austin.
The only shocker is he didn’t go to Georgia but I respect he’s willing to take a risk at a Texas team that hasn’t found footing in quite some time instead of a guaranteed top 5 pick spot
TF you talking about? It’s about his production and talent not if he ins a title. Her I wonder if you’re a Georgia fan!:)
@@keithkelso9872 not a Georgia fan and I guess what I mean is he’s willing to risk not going to a guaranteed top team every year
.....Arch has been told that Texas will be included in that group of teams when he's the starter.
He’s smart, he knows Texas has big money
I agree (Tennessee Fan here) I really think that UGA was the better fit for him - Sark will get him killed - But I am glad he wont face the REAL UT at least in the near future - And as for NICO and the money - he is worth it based on what we have seen of him and I am not talking about on the field - very level headed kid and guess what he will mpost likely sit out next year behind Joe Milton who looks like he will be the best SEC QB next year - Kiffin has to whine about something all the time
Lane cries all the time!!! He's a journeyman coach who has chased money his whole career 🤡
Lane you are the man.....Hope one day you take over Bama after the G.O.A.T.
Don't need to explain good things about Texas. Its a good place.
Lame doesn’t have a television or TH-cam to see Arch wearing a Longhorn tshirt as a child saying im gonna be a Longhorn. Lame vision .
Seek ye first the truth!! then it want hurt..
Nobody could be happy living in Mississippi........including Kiffen
Terrible to say.
Terrible to say.
Mississippi is a great place to live , especially Oxford. Check out the crime rate it’s very low . I’ve always been an Ole Miss fan . My Dad used to take me to Jackson Miss. to watch Archie play . Now I bring my son & Grandsons to Oxford, we love it .
Loved Kiffin trolling jimbo fisher. Guess Lane had the last laugh!
🤯
Not sure just money was the deciding factor for Arch Manning.
Arch wanted to go to Texas because that was his dream school growing up. The fact that they shelled out hundreds of thousands of dollars for his recruiting and his family as well just for him helped out a lot. He loved the city of Austin and the atmosphere of it. It was an easy choice for him even though he was matured and showed interest in Georgia, Ole Miss and a few others the Texas Longhorns were clearly the front runners this whole time. Money talks also and UT has plenty of it.
He does not need the money lol
@@AKIsAClownno he doesn’t need the money, but you don’t think he wants to earn it in NIL deals instead of depending on mom and dad and his two uncles??
How many quarterbacks has this clown sent to the NFL as first round picks? Sark has 6 on his resume, and will add to that total after this season! There's your answer!
Cuz 'Hook em HOrns' sounds more manly than 'Hootty Tooty'..🤡
Texas has two good quarterbacks already I don't know why he went there
last time Texas signed a legacy qb from football royalty, he ended up being massively mediocre. painfully mediocre. criminally mediocre.
I'm not a Texas fan so I don't know this trivia. Who are you referring to?
@@sam.k.classic chris sims. phil sims' son. was supposed to be the next huge thing and was just meh..
@@iwishiknew10 I see. Thanks for the reply.
I will tell you why…there is way more money in Texas than there is at ole miss. That is why the kid is in Texas.
🤔🤔🤔, you think Uncle Eli and Uncle Peyton had something to do with his decision????????? The way Lane Kiffin did the Tennessee Volunteer football team was unforgivable!!!!!!!!! I don’t blame Arch for not going to a SEC team!!!! I wish him all the best in Texas and hopes he stays healthy!!!!!!
You wonder how things would've turned out had the USC job not come open...he said it was the only place he would leave Tennessee for, and I believe that. I think he would've had a NC there if he would've stayed but we'll never know.
“Not going to a SEC team?” Texas and Oklahoma are both coming into the SEC in 2025.If Arch Manning is redshirted his freshman year then his second full playing year will be in the SEC in 2025.
Why didn't you ask Lane Train how much he gave Zach Evans???
I want Kiffin at Bama after the GOAT dies.
ROLL TIDE!
What has Travis Hunter done this year
Arch will transfer to Ole Miss if Texas don't start him in 2023!
Sounds like jealousy.
Can never tell. Recruiting is a fickle game. I would certainly prefer Austin to Oxford. Who know. Like trying to date a woman. You try your best. Might get chosen. Might choose some other guy or gal. Just do your best to win her heart.
This will get fixed in a year or two with a player's union and a CBA. Until then, it's the Wild West.
Do these players even have to go to class? What are the rules if the kids have bad grades? Why should they even go to class?
Let him go Texas. Who cares
Lane was not close to getting arch. And money was not the deciding factor.
I watched Arch Manning and his high school team play on tv .He did not impress me as being a major college QB. Time will tell.
The Mannings chose the best QB coach to develop them, irregardless of school.
Man texas is too massive to play at ole miss.
The only people excited about the NIL is the IRS.
Dan Leretard is the worst radio guy out there
He chose Texas because he is no Jackson Arnold.. He had to settle for less decorated digs... like a bridesmaid dress and fatter friends... Just makes you look better. Rivalry aside can't wait to see Arch play!
Update?
There's always the portal
The people paying players NIL money are like PACs.
