Love this band... Captain Mina just impresses the hell out of me how she puts talent together, and the variety of styles they do...and NANA does it all.... super versatile, can handles the growls and her cleans are really good, and she's a bit more impressive in that she does it just as well live....\m/ Gotta love that!

Just one additional worth to be mentioned: Fate Gear is a direct and legit descendant of Destrose, as Fate Gears leader (Captain) Mina was also the founder of Destrose; she still holds the rights for their songs which she composed (she still writes the music for Fate Gear); so Lovebites and Nemophila are related to Mina and Destrose, as Saki, Haruna and Miho passed through that extraordinarily important band in early steps of their career; Another fact is that Fate Gear still works as a truly indie band, issueing their music on their own label, and doing all the work for the band - videos, artwork, organisation of tours etc. themselves or with the help of specialised agents (but independently). Drummer Haruka is a talented graphic designer, too, and designs the CD covers occasionally.
One of the "old" Destrose songs is the classic Headless Goddess - th-cam.com/video/tLQbsoKQN-0/w-d-xo.html (by Fate Gear; album cover by Haruka)

You missed off Mary's Blood, by Eye, Eri, Kayo and guest drummer Mari, who were formed after Destrose split up for the 1st time, as Eye was the 1st singer for Destrose. Then there is the Mardelars who were formed by Marina. You could also say Disqualia as Ibuki was the stand in singer at the end while Lisa had a throat problem.
I think Mina gets a lot of crap over the Destrose stuff, which is a bit unfair. Yes they went though a lot of people, but they basicly split up 3 times. Also Mina didn't withdrew from the band, in 2013, a bit due to an illness, which in the end caused her to leave the band, but the band carried on for a few months after.

@@maximushaughton2404 I beg your pardon, sir ...:-) I didn't mean to neglect all the other bands that were formed by ex-members of Destrose. You surely know that you could have add more names to the list; but you named the most influential and popular ones tbh. Again, I didn't put these groups aside intentionally, it was very late, and I was tired, that's my humble explanation!
Nobody should blame Mina for anything, neither for the constant change of Destrose's setup nor for the commercial failure and the dissolution of the band finally. On the contrary I see it as particular strength of Mina to gather the most ambitioned girl musicians again and again in the band. Nobody should wonder about different views of how to build a career when you deal with the most talented musicians and prodigies, on and on. And Mina had her own ideas, too, nobody should blame her for that. Many made their first - and important obviously - steps of their career in this band, and when you watch the Destrose videos or hear their music today, it's still fresh and enjoying. And: the way, that Fate Gear chose to follow - by working as an independent band - is not the easiest choice, but it gives them control over what they do as musicians - I admire that a lot (the same thing as with Nemophila, Unlucky Morpheus, etc.)

ARIGATO for the nice reaction!! I like your reactions so much.
FATE GEAR is my favorite band. Please react the other song.
"HEADLESS GODDESS"(MV) is so catchy and so powerful.
There are many talented musicians in japanese female bands.
SHOW-YA is "the GREAT PIONEER" of japanese female bands. SHOW-YA started at 1981.
This year is 40th anniversary year. They are still playing and all talented musicians.
They are influenced by DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN and the other hard rock bands.
Please watch "ROLLIN' WORLD"(live in TOKYO) by SHOW-YA.
This is the amazing live performance!!
"GENKAI LOVERS"(00:42~04:47) is very popular in japan.

They call themselves a Steam Punk Metal band. The band is actually 4 people.
    Captain Mina - Guitar
Erika - Bass (who left the band, by agreement, when this was released)
    Yuri - Keyboards
    Haruka - Drums
In the video there is also.
Nana - singer Reasterisk, Theo Nova
    Mitsuru - ex-Bridear, まだ見たことのないセカイ(Sekai I haven't seen yet)
They used to have a full time singer, but she left the band due to an illness, and now does voice acting. They use a pool of singers from other bands, ones that Mina thinks fits the sound she wants for the song, but they mainly use Nana (the one in this MV). Personally I rate Nan just below Fuki, she is just so good at what she does, and is one hell of a front woman, from seeing them live, she like to get in people faces and get them going, and is none stop, also keeps up with Erika. Nana also speaks really good English, had a chat with her when I saw Fate Gear play @ the Underworld.
Erika who has just left the band, to be in another band, has a larger than life personality and is just a beast on stage. She has been replaced by Nino , ex Ark Royal, on the same today they told people Erika had left, who is the bassist on the "B" side track. To be honest I thought Erika would be hard to replace, but Nino seems to have so much skill and shredded her place into the band. They just released the video for the "B" side Sonic Samurai, which is a cover of Victorius.
The song is from a concept album, The Sky Prison, which is about a sky ship of pirates and their adventures, and start with the song The Sky Pirates feat. Jill from Unlucky Morpheus. This song is about a former crew member that has turned them over to the authorities so they can face justice.
Also on the album are 2 tracks that have the singer that is helping out Aldiuos on their tour, Maki Oyama.

Babymetal just dropped a new anthem now as well. Metal Kingdom and as no suprise it's a banger. That is the third new track in 3 months they have released.
The other 2 being Devine Attack-Shingeki which is a f*** masterpiece!! Along with Monochrome and a tour scheduled with Sabaton later this year.
Album drops on March 24th. Great reaction BTW as a lot of history with this band & it really shows!! 🤘🦊💕
