I fished the original pier back in my younger days and caught just about every kind of fish in the bay there. There were MONSTER snook under the pier that you couldn't catch without having really heavy tackle. Ah, the good 'ol days. 😊

Since it's been redone it's a tourist pier. The fishing is difficult at best.

I for one HATE tourist piers.
Last thing any of us needs is to go and try to cast and fill some little 5 yr old girls face with treble hooks.
Tourists need their areas, fishermen need theirs. They-we do not mix well.

yah, the redone prier took allot of the fishermen, Non fishermen, friendful flavor away, Used to to be allot more fun.
