Rich, I wanted to get your take on something. I see another TH-camr that does the side lat raises with what to me is a lot of weight. However he we will call him Marc. Does this heavy weight but does not extend arms out which reduces forces of leverage. So basically if you do a last raise with 20 pounds and your arm is 3 feet long then the leverage would make that 20 actually 60 pounds. Do if he does 60 pounds at with elbows bent and the weight is only 12 inches from his joint then he is in theory only doing the sixty pounds. Had his arms been extended the 3 feet then it would be 180 pounds on the joint and muscle. So which do you recommend. Extended or in? I just feel like people are so fixed on how big of a weight that someone is using that they don't see what it's really happening. Ty

Shit and touching on the point of Mike being covered up, I started lifting at 18 in a gym in Port Moody BC a stone's throw away from Vancouver and it was about 3 thousand square feet, just full of competitive bodybuilders and powerlifters and no one wore shorts and you might only ever see one or two tank tops in summer a week before contest time. Humble and focused was the vibe. You saw what people lifted you didn't need to see them in half naked in their underwear. Keep killing it!!!

Also you can still warm up with 600 if you start and say 225 and build your way up to say 700 with 1 rep sets
