    OMG. The answer to my prayers. A strimmer that is easy to thread and replace. Ego, you have my vote!

    When you bump it to get more string out it gouges the grass in a bad way. Are you supposed to do this somewhere there is no grass like on the driveway? I know this seems like a dumb question but i really do not know what to do and nobody to ask.

    Thank you so much. I was watching videos on the older model and was so confused. Thanks a ton.

    I have a stronger trimmer from ego with blades and a 5 ah battery and i love it. So much power i can easily cut through the highest grass and brush. Battery life is 45 minutes and it charges also in 45minutes. I really recommened the ego trimmers.

      Hi There Would you kindly let me know of the model you have from EGO? And How much was it? Was it a kit or just a skin with no battery and Charger? Please let me know. Thank you

    • @jappiegamez

      @@aldobiglari4575 I have the BC3800E the biggest model before the professional model. I have paid for the trimmer 370,- the battery 200,- each and the rapid charger 100,- euro's . The gear and blades where included by the trimmer. Not cheap, but its equal to a gasoline in the same price category. I use it around my farm. For high grass andd bushes with the blade and semi high grass the trim line. I like it, easy to handle, good power. The battery can last up to 45 minutes but with the highest power mode 30 minutes. Whats not bad but not great. I dont recommend for wood sticks or wooden brush. Therefore it lacks power and is it not made for in my opinion.

    Any idea why my Power Load is not feeding properly? Seems like it spends more time spinning the head than spooling the line. Pulled the head apart, make sure the spring was located but still doesn't work.

    I have had my unit only one day. It cuts fine but why won't the line extend further as it wears down even if I bang it on the side walk as I am pulling the trigger??? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

    • @OurBuild
      @OurBuild  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It needs to be hit on the bottom (green dot) for the line to extend.

    • @Stormskiing
      @Stormskiing 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OurBuild Thanks....Yes I understand that. When I went back to ACE, they told me that was the nature of String Trimmers: to get jammed up often...especially when getting close to the end of the source of string. I don't want to be often having to stop and take the thing apart to untangle the jam in the string!!! I think I'll be taking it back tomorrow. That is what EGO suggested when I spoke with them earlier

    • @OurBuild
      @OurBuild  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Stormskiing Yeah it shouldn't tangle inside, so might be worth getting it looked at 🤙

  • @budr243

    Bought one from Home Depot, it ran 1 month light use. The POWERLOAD would not work. HD replaced it no questions asked. The second one has the same problem, POWERLOAD won't work. very frustrating. After a couple of days trying to get EGO customer service on the phone, they are sending me a new unit. Really hope I have better luck with it than my last two. I do own several other pieces of EGO equipment with good luck, not so with the trimmer.

      It took over three weeks for EGO to get a new trimmer to me, blamed it on covid-19. Finally got it, not the same model that I had, new one isn't foldable. Only used it about 5 minutes to try it out, the trimmer came with the string preloaded so I wont know how the power loader works for awhil. will keep you posted. @@kwmulligan

      @@OurBuild so 6 feet? Really? Wow oops I have been putting 18 feet in lol I don’t have the urinating winder-upper but the “hand cranked” one lol oops. Also another question and maybe dumb one… do they lose power over time? I am guilty of leaving it out in the fog a time or two and also the sun ahhhh I know it’s only a $250 battery 🙄😫. So thinking that may have something to do with it. But I do beat the sheiit out of it. Live on a farm and it’s been getting it’s money worth still have no idea how out dictator governor can ban all gas ones starting next year. Crazy. No way a landscaper can afford to purchase a bunch of those batteries and they themselves have only so many charges on them. Stupid annnyways thank you for answering so promptly.
