What most dont realize, is these are all micro gold mining operations compared to the big guys. What any of these guys do in a year, the big mines do in a day.

Something’s always breaking it seems. I can’t tell if it’s just for drama or not. How can you be spending $5,000,000 on equipment and end up having to use zip ties for stuff?
There are many temp fixes for everything. Most of them are hours away from anywhere that could keep heavy equipment parts. So if there’s a temp fix that keeps them from staying down for that long, then it’s more worthwhile for them to do that and get a part later on when they are able to get it.

Oh things break a lot! Their plants arent exacly engineered to spec plus you have to account for the harsh environment these motors and machines operate in.

I wonder how effective the plants are, as in how much goes out in tailings. I read somewhere the best ones catch 98-99% of the gold, but thats not counting whats inside the gravel. I guess maybe its not enough to be worth crushing it down to a powder to get it. Always wonder about that tho.

man, I have a way to get gold out of beach sand with something that fits in a backpack I figure I could go through 500 or 1000 galloons of sand a day. basically, how fast could you fill a 5-gallon bucket pretty fast, and the process takes seconds. If I was in Nome, I would be Mr. gold and the best part, it cost only 300.00.

Save up and get yourself there, run 50 of them if you have to. If there was a more efficient way of doing it, i bet these guys would be doing it. They spend millions on equipment anyway.
Btw, a standard unit for material is cubic yards, or even cubic feet. If you say a gallon of sand, no one is going to know how much that is without doing some weird conversion.

I reached out to doc at gold hog sluices and no reply back, parker, Mr. gold. someone mentioned that these guys in the field ignore most everyone with some sort of an idea, not much has changed since the gold pan and there just stuck in old ways. with Michigan we can't use motors and can only have in possession like a half gram. sure is a interesting idea and if I mocked it up on a grander scale I could move any amount of beach sand # yards a minute

@@springfieldalan I can't just tell you not yet I have to get a patent on it and a 1-year provisional patent will not protect the invention, I will be able to get a design and a utility patent because its new to the market, probably won't be until 2025 until I can get the money for the patent.

get the gold! No but, reclamation is a vital part of mining, typically it can involve just helping the land look natural. Often times the pits become ponds and stay that way. Reclamation people come in and plant trees. In the old timer's day, nothing was reclaimed, yet Mother Nature restored much of it.

Of course it's a requirement after the mining process is done they have to reshape the ground an replant trees as required by the government the granted the permits,it's the last phase of the mining claim.and it has to pass inspection on the way it was done or they can be fined heavily,there's a couple shows that show that final phase
