Even being tired, you looked lovely in your purple glasses and shade of hair! Great job in shed. It is fun to see items sold that I remember you buying in previous videos. You are admired by so many, including me.
Great job you are doing gal your son so cute. Can you give me suggestions what I can do with all my stuff I’ve collected I wish you were close by I would love to work with you

Great video! I saw the tea cup video on Wednesday and when I went sourcing the other day, I was picking up all the tea cups to see the brand. Thanks so much for doing all the research! Looking forward to the tea pots!
that Harley lot was a great score for you! After running errands the other day I had a few minutes and treated myself to visit a resale shop. only spent $15 but got 2 nice tops for myself, a lacy skirt to sell and a reverse sequined pillow with a unicorn on one side to sell. Got a lap blanket for my husband who's always cold since he got out of the hospital last week, and a book rack for myself. This shop also lets you pick one free item for every 5 dollars you spend from a table. so I got a cute terracotta heart shaped frame, a mug and a bracelet I can repurpose. I should make back twice the small amount I spent, but the retail therapy was the best thing for me that day.
Thank you! I needed your inspiration today! I am very interested in learning more about hankies and other linens. I goofed. I sold 6 beautiful hankies for $10(lot) this week. I paid a $1.00 each. What I learned from you today is keywords and better photos.
You're amazing! You sell not only obvious items - such as the Longaberger basket - but also things that I would've thought would NOT sell, such as that quilt topper!
“A change is as good as a rest” they say. Hope the refreshed shed helps charge you up! Lovely linens! Enjoyed looking at them…. Your photographer is doing a great job! Thanks for helping me be focused!
Your she shed looks so great after organizing it! That has to feel great. One tip, those banker boxes fit in an IKEA expedite shelving unit. You can often pick them up cheap and it’s so nice to have one box per square when you have to pull inventory. Oh and those small dishes, I think they’re called butter pats. But you obviously didn’t need that keyword lol!
Your videos are so informative and my favorite ones to watch. The shed looks great, one of those feels good, so glad its done kind of things. You are such a lovely person Kat.

Hi Kat. Thanks for sharing your before and after of your shed cleanup. I must look through your videos to see if you have a How To on organizing your items. I mean for how do you label your boxes?, what do you store together?, what likes go together?, how do you store breakables?. etc. I have noticed you store in the boxes listed items. I haven't started selling yet so all my things are in boxes but they're not sorted in any way. They are mostly breakables, but I have started collecting linens. I see the benefits of those. Also, should I keep an online spreadsheet? Sorry for all the questions. I have had COVID for a week now and my head is just starting to de-fog. I'm going to be moving in a few months and so I'm thinking of listing to get some sales to get money for the move. So I will leave it at that for now. Thanks for all your help and advice. Seeya, from Oz!!

Awesome job on your shed/deathpile. I usually go to yard sales on Sat but today I'm staying home and listing my deathpile. It's killing me (staying home on a Sat) but it's just something I have to do. Love watching your videos!!!

Thank You I have learned so much from you, Iam from Puerto Rico, and also sell on Ebay, but we don't have Goodwill or used stores, hardly anyone does garage sales only Churches, which I go too.
Wow! No wonder you are tired. Looks great! We spent today organizing my death pile storage...don't ask..lol. Tomorrow is my office/listed boxes. Then I can list again. I cannot work in a disorganized space.
You were right first time "Anti ( as in anty) mac-casser" I remember most homes had these on the back of their armchairs to prevent the grease/Brill cream on men's hair from marking the upholstery. 👍 I stitched one of those in school, Friday sewing class when I was 10yrs old! 😁
It looks awesome in the shed 👍👍👍, I would like to see videos on vintage compacts and purses someday, I loved your videos on the teacups, brooches and trinket boxes naturally I started checking mine because of your videos..👏👏👏👏 thank you so much for all the research and the knowledge you bring to all of us.🦋🦋🦋
Love your videos I live in Canada I have tones of things to sell but not sure how to even start can you guide me through where to start? Would love to start selling kinda computer eliterate to be honest.
new seller doesn't have anything to do with it the reasoning behind doing an auction is for rare and in demand items. I recommend starting items at the lowest you're willing to take. If it's popular rare or in demand it won't matter if you're new or not. Look at sold items the same as yours if they're selling buy it now or auction
Would love to know your process for inventorying an item. Do you tag it with a description and price paid? Do you do a spreadsheet with all the items? Thanks
I do not do any spreadsheets my accounting method is money in money out and I know I buy low. Here is a video on my inventory system though th-cam.com/video/anZ9juUa8iw/w-d-xo.html
Hibid Auctions around Houston haven't had jewelry in large lots. Everything has been listed individually. Great work on reorganizing your shed. Looking forward to your next auction haul. Now get some rest!!
That's been my experience too with Hibid. While watching her videos, I keep asking myself where she finds auctions that sell in huge lots, like her Harley pins. Glad you posted that about Hibids because I thought I must be crazy! 😂
Would you share how you ship hanky’s? Do you always cover shipping on them? What do you put them in and what shipping service do you use? I so appreciate you videos.
Very impressive video for what sold and the organization! Great job! You are really crushing it Kat! I really like how honest you are in how long your items take to sell. Thank you for sharing and I have learned so much from you. 👏👏👏👏👏😊
Kat, I love your videos and I have learned a lot. I would love videos on high priced music boxes and Christmas ornaments. FYI, good linens are not available everywhere. Here in Maryland I never see hankies or embroidered linens. Also I never see anyone I know with hankies or embroidered linens. Different parts of the country have different types of items. I am really looking forward to meeting you at FlipCon in NC. I hope Dalton is coming too. Lori
They're pretty readily available on online auctions and shipping isn't too bad if you can't find them locally :D I get more than half of mine that way. I found tons while in PA, it really depends on the store and if they value them
I said before you are the most informative I have EVER seen on ANY selling platform. What vitamins do you take? I say this in jest because your energy is amazing! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge! It must be invigorating to be your own boss and no longer subject to employment politics. Been there done that! My last job was at US Senate during 911 and anthrax. So glad they laid me off! Politics, ugh. Hooray for the self employed and making it work!
My whole basement big death pile need auctioneer to help way too much to list so overwhelmed. Need help you have any ideas how I can sell all collectibles are in banana boxes and clothes are in plastic clear garbage bags about 200 bags full. What suggestions do you have please I’m in a big rut
LOL no :-) I've worn contacts primarily for over 25 years but this year I felt like wearing glasses sometimes :D However... I do now need readers if I wear my contacts LOL I didn't want bifocal so to see up close I just take my glasses off!
Just now picking up this video from a year ago,but that is ok. These sold videos are great because they give me hope of actually selling something. Ebay has not proven good to me and I'm not sure why. But i will keep at it! You're great, Kat. Happy thrifting. 😊
I have recently started doing eBay and mercari. I watched a bunch of your videos last night. Found a Aynsley tea cup and saucer a beautiful cobalt blue on the out side and a light blue/turquoise with a pretty gold inlay design in side. I can't find it online. Wondering if you knew anything about it.
I want to do resale again myself but just found out I have spinal stenosis this is getting me down because I have so much to do but I’m in extreme pain I really need to catch a brake lol just wanna sell my stuff thinking about getting one of those things from usps to use for shipping and weight then it all prints out
Hi there. Thx for your videos!. Where do you prefer buying most of your product. Estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores?. Or do you buy on ebay and sell? Cheers
I mainly do auctions so I have a few videos on sourcing and how and where to find auctions. This one th-cam.com/video/TeMov_vwQ0k/w-d-xo.html shows how to use hibid which is the main auction site I use. This one shows different places to source online th-cam.com/video/0TTUVuUMW-U/w-d-xo.html and then this one shows how I use shop goodwill th-cam.com/video/pNYODoiHQ8c/w-d-xo.html I hope these help!
I'm still looking for my niche. Would love to flip linens but they are hard to find. Might find one at an antique shop, never the thrift stores & rarely at estate sales & never for $1. Any tips?
I don't want a niche for this exact reason :D Hey there, so I have a few videos on sourcing and how and where to find auctions. This one th-cam.com/video/TeMov_vwQ0k/w-d-xo.html shows how to use hibid which is the main auction site I use. Hi Kath, (hoping I spelled correctly) I believe the one with strawberry embroidery seems to be a table centerpiece where normally you put a flower vase. When I was a kid (born in late 50's), that's what we called those. 🤔🤔🤔 I love your videos.😊😊😊
Really looking forward to the teapot research Kat! You work sooooo hard!! Just wondering if you ever feel overwhelmed with all that stock and are you still in profit overall with everything that's unlisted and unsold? 💕🙏
My daughter does too LOL I actually will probably post a pic of it in my video today. If you haven't joined our facebook group death pile destruction that would be a great place!
@@TheNurseFlipper I will try to get that on Facebook. Definitely. You can't imagine how bad. Plus the fact that I'm old and computer illiterate. I envy you and Joc and others that make it look soooo very easy to do what you guys do on camera. Not so good..to say the least..please know that you Jocelyn and others are very appreciated for your content help and much more

I just recently started watching, so sorry if you've answered this a million times and maybe someone else can answer: You said you source mainly from online auctions. Does that mean you are buying on Ebay? Are they Lots or what? I'm just trying to figure out if you're buying from more impatient resellers on Ebay who don't know an item's worth or what. Thanks, I really appreciate your effort to educate us!
You can buy on eBay but I rarely do. I do sourcing from you in my 9.99 membership if for you by your zip code. I have a few videos on sourcing and how and where to find auctions. I notice you're not including the S&H in your profit. I've never sold anything on ebay so I'm not sure how that works. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone wants to correct me.
@@TheNurseFlipper LOL thank you sorry dont mean to ask so , many things. But you dont learn anything if you dont ask. again thank you its very kind of you

I found tons while in PA, it really depends on the store and if they value them
That was alot of work you have done in your shed. Good for you Kat. I'm just doing the same thing.
You can do it!
LOL yes make it work!!!
My whole basement big death pile need auctioneer to help way too much to list so overwhelmed. Need help you have any ideas how I can sell all collectibles are in banana boxes and clothes are in plastic clear garbage bags about 200 bags full. What suggestions do you have please I’m in a big rut
You could list on craigslist or marketplace for resellers. I would expect to get 10-20% of the retail value less if you sell a lot to the same person
Good morning Kat. Where your items a auction bid, or bin price. Bin = buy it now
All buy it now I do 95% buy it now so if I don't say auction it's all buy it now :D
Is the glasses new thing. Don't feel bad I had to get them also that happens when u get older.
hahahaha it takes a long time for some to sell for sure, we have over 6000 items and the lassst few months have been rough!
No I'm sorry
Nice sales great video
Thanks so much appreciate you watching :-)
Love the purple hair
Thanks!
How do you check for silver and gold
I only do by marking and then if it looks suspect I have a tester kit
I want to do resale again myself but just found out I have spinal stenosis this is getting me down because I have so much to do but I’m in extreme pain I really need to catch a brake lol just wanna sell my stuff thinking about getting one of those things from usps to use for shipping and weight then it all prints out
I would just get a regular printer to start and cheap scale
This one shows different places to source online th-cam.com/video/0TTUVuUMW-U/w-d-xo.html and then this one shows how I use shop goodwill th-cam.com/video/pNYODoiHQ8c/w-d-xo.html

Have you done ewers,? Interested how they sell.
I have not, but I don't sell a ton, so not sure if I'll do one on them or not
Is your new jewelry photo box the same as the old one ?
Yes, it's the same one !
Just a quick question what is a light box? And what if you can describe it or send a picture please thank you thanks for all your knowledge♥️👍🏼😁
It is a little box I take photos of jewelry in sitting on the couch you can see it here www.amazon.com/dp/B08RRT9DXP/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d
Hi friend do you do online classes for us? I'm in Washington state so I'm so very far from Tennessee
I have some I did that are available online for replay. Thenurseflipper.bigcartel.com
@@TheNurseFlipper thankyou kindly
How have you inventory listed.
I have almost 5000 listings
Do you wash and iron the hankys?
Rarely only if worth $25 or more which isn't many of them
Do you do buy it now or bids? If do bids, how do you know how much to start?
95% buy it now, if auctions I start at the lowest I'm ok taking cause a lot of times I get one bid only
You always show me new items to look out for🤗 thank you so much for all the great content 🤗 AND I LOVE the purple hair !!! 🤩
You are so welcome!
Wow amazing! You all did a great job. Now rest and when you return tomorrow you will feel so good to see it organized 😍
Thanks so much!
Hi Kath, (hoping I spelled correctly)
I believe the one with strawberry embroidery seems to be a table centerpiece where normally you put a flower vase. When I was a kid (born in late 50's), that's what we called those. 🤔🤔🤔
I love your videos.😊😊😊
Thank you for the tip!
Really looking forward to the teapot research Kat!
You work sooooo hard!! Just wondering if you ever feel overwhelmed with all that stock and are you still in profit overall with everything that's unlisted and unsold? 💕🙏
Sometimes, but not a ton luckily! I am in the profit on almost all lots sold, but still have over 120k in inventory :D
love your content thanks
I appreciate that!
you list sitting on a couch? I'd love to see how you list like this! My death pile fills my house sadly.Help!!
I still don't know how to use a camera new in t he case and have been just snapping and listing by phone. Not so good..to say the least..please know that you Jocelyn and others are very appreciated for your content help and much more
@@donnashick363 I only use my phone to list so does Jocelyn+
@@TheNurseFlipper my biggest problem is trying to remember where items are. Which box after a sale that occurs months later.. tips would help. But I fear I'm beyond help after having a TBI that shot my short term memory
@@donnashick363 that's why you put where it is in the custom sku that your buyers don't see is at the bottom of item specifics
Wow…what a great job you did on the shed! I say this often but it’s so true… you are an amazing person! Thanks for all the wonderful videos! Tell Dalton I’m sending him a wave! 👋
You are so welcome! Will tell him!
This one th-cam.com/video/TeMov_vwQ0k/w-d-xo.html shows how to use hibid which is the main auction site I use. I notice you're not including the S&H in your profit. I've never sold anything on ebay so I'm not sure how that works. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone wants to correct me.
You choose whether it's free (you pay) or buyer pays, for me I charge shipping on everything so the buyer pays shipping so that is net even for me
what is a death pail
Inventory that is NOT posted anywhere LOL it's sitting there not making me money HA
@@TheNurseFlipper LOL thank you sorry dont mean to ask so , many things. But you dont learn anything if you dont ask. again thank you its very kind of you
@@debbiecooper1677 you're welcome no problem!
An antimacassar was originally a cloth or doily for the back of a high chair to protect the chair from the grease from a gentleman's head...Macassar was a gentleman's hair cream
Thanks for the info!
What are most folks doing with the hankies that they buy? I don’t see them being used the way women used to use them, so I’m just curious..🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
No idea LOL
Fantastic sells! I love buying lots.
Me too!!
The Paris scene is pronounced ka-raf. 2 syllables
Do you start your listings at a auction or dedicated amount, if auction how do you determine the starting bid
These are all b uy it now I rarely do auctions unless it's rare or in high demand and then I start at the lowest price I'm willing to take!
Harley Davidson sells big time!!! Congrats 👏 Love the organization and finding the floor is so satisfying 😌 ❤ 👍 You always find such fantastic treasures! Looking forward to the next video 😃
Thank you!! 😊
Just love listening to your stories & of course, the finds! 🙏🏼👍🏼🦋
Glad you like them!
Just subscribed, great videos! I have a Longaberger Recipe basket with a lot of recipes listed on Ebay and can't get it to sell. It is at 49.99 I think that is reasonable. I have hope after seeing you sold two of them.
Have you found the exact one with sold comps?
@@TheNurseFlipper There are some for 35 with no recipes and one for 43 with recipe but no material. I just actually raised it to 50 from 42 when I saw how much you got. 42 out there for almost 6 months now
@@gayledeswert2727 how many sold though that's what matters
@@TheNurseFlipper I think I am going to take a better picture. I checked sold 10 have sold in last 30 days. Thanks for your help
