Hi @cadeplaysgames , I tried this type of gameplay but I got frustrate when I completed a daily opportunity quest that give 500,000 isk, is there anyway to bypass this system?
@@chattomichaelangelo7356 Sadly not. The developers changed that mechanic so that any completed tasks which you did not claim automatically claim after 30 days. I guess they were trying to help new players not forget to claim stuff or something(!) 😎 I just sent all my AIR daily goals money to another character of mine, or you can buy a blueprint then throw it away (right click trash)
I admit it. I watched this series for a while and am trying it. I appreciate the content and the grind. Man, you ground. I subbed your channel a while back. I never looked at the other gaming. I usually just do Eve. I don't have much time now days, but I will have to watch that content and maybe go outside my usual. Thanks again. I enjoyed it.
This season has been an absolute blast to watch and it has helped me tremendously in learning Eve. By far the best "tutorial" (with a few rule tweaks ;) ). Can not wait for Season 2 and looking forward to learning even more from you! I am also for some relaxation of the rules that others have suggested, some of the tweaks I made for myself while trying to follow along are that I am allowed to purchase a BPO if it is not available from an NPC (Small Cap Battery I specifically was removed from NPCs for some reason) and if there is a piece of loot that I can not use but it is valuable I can sell it to Players at 50% of the Jita price (This helps save me some time when I am not able to grind a bunch but still keeps it reasonable). Im sure you will come up with some tweaks that will keep the game play fresh and fun for you! Happy Holidays and New Year!
Man, this was a tough challenge. I think it is cool you showed people how to play the game without having to buy everything and how you can be self sufficient. Thanks for making great content! I love catching as many episodes as I can of many of your game plays. I just downloaded Planet Crafter...
I like the sound of Wormhole Steve! Relax those rules. Mine, level 3 missions in whatever ship. Congrats on your fit and all the effort. Job well done.
I would love to see this series carry on .. While you being Omega and grind the way to BC / BS .. even if this requires some rule changes !! Great Series
Personally i think all the suggestions for relaxation would be totally fine. I might even go as far as say its fine if you sell to players as long as you dont buy from them
FYI, the skill cap on alphas is 20 million, you just have to acquire everything past 5 mil as injectors (alpha dailies and/or reward injectors) so you can get farther, but it's troublesome. I did a little bootstrap challenge of my own - I did MCT for one month on my current main omega account, made a new character, and saw how far I could get in that one month. I made these rules: 1. No tutorial or career agents - start from scratch and build up from a corvette 2. No (voluntary) player interactions - pretend it's a single player game. No market except NPCs, and no PvP. (Other than if someone blows me up.) 3. No missions except SOE epic arc and then after doing that, my Gallente character could only do missions for the Federation Navy. No other corps or factions. Everything else is fine - those rules mean I had to build everything or loot it off NPCs, but I could earn isk through dailies, career program rewards, missions (for the allowable cases) and anything else I could make work, as long as no other players were involved. The goal was to be running level 3 missions for the Fed Navy in a Vexor (goal achieved) and stretch goal, build a Vexor Navy Issue (sad trombone.. time ran out on this one.) The one month limit kept it from becoming a grind - it was a race instead. I had to build up from scratch to an Algos ASAP so I could do the SOE arc, which got me some better funding so I could afford some more BPOs. I ended up getting a Vexor BPC as a reward, which saved 20m isk. Getting all the megacyte and the right salvage for rigs was the gate on building it - lots of Amarr ratting - I got a couple of bubble makers, but most came from looted MWDs. You'd have laughed at me out jet can mining in my destroyer like the good ol' days, but it was enough to get the job done for the common minerals. In the end, it was good fun, and I might do another month later to see if I can get that VNI built. Lots of work to earn that BPC. Cheers, enjoy the well earned respite, and fly safe-ish o7
giving yourself a hard target could be a good change. like to build X ship. I think it's fine to mine I never understood why you could not mine in the first place honestly. it's not like it's insanely overpowered really. I am sure it has been a grind, take your time, it's a fun series for us but by all means make sure it stays at least interesting for you. Surviving mars will hold me over :) It's probably time to go Omega. I'd love to see some heavy industry for sure, it's something I am working towards so any opportunity I have to learn is great with me :)
I really need to pay more attention to local ppl. You are flying all around my home neighborhood and I'm sure cuz I play at night USA times, we probably have passed right by each other and I've never noticed.
Only have 1 suggestion for your revamp of the criteria for this gameplay. That you apply a bad looking skin to that Vexor. I think there is one (targeted) to you.
the thing I wish they would change about Missions is if they made a way to choose to attack pirates/mercenaries only and not have to lose reputation with other empires. It's not a big deal I guess unless you get to 5.0 but it can hurt a trader Alt that is being played since it effects the tax rates with the empire that does not like you.
I respect your educational content, but I feel you're wasting this series potential running security missions in highsec. I think you should push yourself into lowsec, at the least. Dealing with bloodthirsty players would give you many more opportunities to share your wisdom and experience with us.
Got any questions about this series? Post them below and I'll try to answer them in the next episode!

@@CadePlaysGames Yeah I got frustrated when I play for 30 days and then I found myself having a lot of cash. any thanks for the reply

You two inspired me to do my own self suffiency run with an Amarr toon. Turns eve from an mmo into a survival crafter really XD

Cheers for what was obviously a grueling series to make.
Wonderful bit
Right click the target row position icon, there's an option to unlock all targets and a few other options as well.

Yes on all counts
Great work on the series and videos! Keep it up! Do you have an affiliate code for CCP purchases I can support?
Nope, I'm not an EVE Partner (yet)🧐

Yeah I got the headhunters skin, big thanks!
Maybe we'll slap that on when we're in risky places in Season Two! 🏴☠🏴☠
belt rats might be better targets to get loot/megacite. not sure but you always seemed to find a lot of warp disrupters doing rats in the belt :)

You can always just Decline any missions that send you against other factions. You can decline once per 4 hours per agent without losing standings.
