Their main vocalist, Yang Yoseob is one of the best vocalists in kpop.
I suddenly got emotional watching this because BEAST/B2ST had their moment for some time and even though they’re not a 6 member group anymore and as Highlight, they still continue to make music that I can appreciate :’)
I suddenly miss how groups back then were paired as friends and would go on variety shows together AND trips too!
As a Korean, they literally swept all the school in S.K. there's no one not to try their famous choreography at that time.
One of my FAVORITE 2nd gen groups!!! They are soooooo talented. Im glad you checked them out!!
They are so chaotic and funny too. I watched them on Jessi's show and I remembered how absolutely hilarious they are 😂
"HIGHLIGHT" is a four-member male dance group, a very popular kpop group in Korea and Asia. Originally, they debuted as a 6-member dance group with a team called "BEAST" in 2009 and are active until 2017. And the contract with the existing agency was terminated, and the team name could not be used due to copyright issues, so the group name was changed to “HIGHLIGHT”. After that, two existing members left the team, and the remaining four members reunited after completing their military service. This group has a high level of both vocal and dance.
Been a fan of them since 2011 and Fiction blew them up. Sad that they didn’t do Shadow, YeY, and Good Luck, but Beautiful Night is probs my fave from them.
Fiction was such a good song .
DW recently mentioned that they are planning with dingo for highlight killing voice2, and also mentioned that they will involve shadow and other songs too.

They’re one of the most legendary group in kpop and they’re still active rn. They have been around for more than a decade, they successfully debuted again and they established a company for themselves. They are all CEOs and artists at the same time. They are famous in Sokor for being stable at live singing and they made a lot of hit songs. All of them are solo artists and actors as well so yeah famous domestically and being acknowledged by a lot of artists in the industry. Thanks for reacting to them btw.
That one with the guitar is called On Rainy Days! It is also my favorite song! I heard that this song would always be back on the Korean music charts on rainy days. and they have a legendary live performance. Heize covered it for a drama this year, I believe it is called On rainy days 2021.

The title track is called Brain, please check his MV too!!! They planned to make a comeback next year I hope you’ll check out then. Again, thanks a lot! HIGHLIGHT you will always be loved. They might not be very popular internationally now but they still big in korea even after 13 years.
UGH!!! Beast/Highlight is one of my favorite groups! I'd say they have a ton of ballad-style songs. I'd highly recommend the album "Highlight." This is the last album they were as Beast which they named after themselves after they left Cube Ent. Now they have their own label that they created, Around Us Ent. Also, fun fact, Yoseob, is the idol with the most wins of King of Mask Singer (Korea) with 8 wins. Tied for 2nd place overall...the top spot only has 1 more win than that with a total of 9.
Glad you finally found them. If you think that this playlist is already great, well, they still have a long list of amazing songs. Highlight is one of the best group in Kpop industry. Their main vocal, Yang Yoseob is one of the best vocalist there. He was an eight-times King of Masked Singer. You can check his performances as fireplace cat. It's amazing performances. Lee Gikwang, the one who always danced is recognized as one of the main dancer in Kpop industry. He is an idol of many young idols right now. Yoon Dujun (the left one), is one of the best leader. Their group has experienced ups and downs but still stand strong until now. And, of course, Son Dongwoon (the right one), the youngest, could be a main vocal in any group with the quality of vocal like that. Even, their ex rapper, Yong Junhyung, is one of the best producers. Most of Beast/Highlight songs composed by him, including the first song that become Highlight's debut song.
Their songs are really good and you'll be amazed to see their live performances. Their live is always the best. Hopefully, you can also react to their other songs, mv or live performances.

Thank you for reacting to Highlight!! You probably haven't heard from them because they were on hiatus for around 3 years because they all enlisted in the army at nearly the same time. So yeah the fandom has been quiet for around 3 years. "Not The End", the last song they sang, was actually a major comeback because as I've said, it was a long hiatus. I hope you can listen to them more because they are really kpop idols who you can be sure that they really love what they do and making music is what they're passionate about.
I cannot help but sing along with Beautiful night, Shock, and Bad Girl, god I loved that songs even though i loved them all lol
HIGHLIGHT IS ONE OF THE BEST SECOND GENERATION KPOP ARTISTS!! They are underrated now but they are still and will always be my favorite idols!!

They were the first kpop group that I heard in my life, their music is incredible, I recommend you take the opportunity to listen to more of them, originally they were six boys and the group was called BESTIA, they were one of the best groups of the second generation of kpop.
Beast are my high school days jam😆 and so Highlight is my jam now😄

Highlight are legendary kpop group, they've been out for so long and actually debuted with five members, but one of them left the group so now they are four. Anyway they got iconic songs in their albums so please react to more of highlight 🙏🙏
Uhm your statement is not wrong, but it's better to say that they debuted with 6 members as Beast in 2009, then renamed themselves as Highlight w/ 5 members in 2017 hehe

Their former agency label is CUBE when they were BEAST (with 6 original members). and currently they (Highlight) are under Around Us Ent. which is managed by themselves. it is their own label agency. There's a change of mood/colors in Beast songs to Highlight's. the concept in Beast commonly a break up songs in early Highlight debut the song and lyrics overall is about self reliance and cheers to oneself to move on (or sorts). and finally they had their comeback this year with the message -it is not the end :)
and yes.. their ballad track is superb! I love their ballads since BEAST and even in the latest album.

I remember 2009 like is was yesterday when I hear old Beast songs. I remember being in grade 8 when they debuted and instantly fell in love with them. They never had a bad song and will always be my number 1 kpop group!!
The way that girls cry over Jimin and V now is how girls back in the day were crying over Yoseob and Kikwang.
I remember their collab dance with Omarion. They had so many great performances.

They used to be under Cube Entertainment but they had troubles with their company and when they decided to leave, they couldn't take their old name with them because Cube had trademarked it. So they actually established their own label Around Us Entertainment in 2016 and chose the name Highlight for their new name as that was the title of their last Album under the name Beast.
