some facts about infinite: - infinite is the first boygroup from a small company to succeed in sk, their company was literally going bankrupt and "be mine" was a big hit and saved them and launched them into stardom - last year, after woohyun left woollim, the members came together and created their own company, INFINITE company, with sungkyu, the leader being the CEO. they invested their own money into the comeback and even had a sould out concert in a big venue in sk and other countries (their fanbase is still big and strong!) - their songs are known for the powerful vocals and crazy syncronized choreo (they are still to this day known as the syncronization kings) - they had a member named hoya who left the group in 2017 to pursue his solo career, he was the main dancer and an all rounder - sungkyu (the leader and main vocalist) is famous for his appearances on variety shows in sk, that's probably why you recognized him - L/myungsoo is also a famous actor and was always famous for his incredible raw visuals - woohyun (the main vocalist with lighter hair) had a major surgery to treat his cancer just months before their comeback last year and before this killing voice.. he only revealed to us at the end of the year so the fans would not worry - to this day, woohyun is the idol who got the highest score in "immortal songs", he is known for his powerful and emotional voice, he gets really immersed in the performances - i think i rambled a lot but infinite is my favorite boygroup ever and their discography is just pure gold! so i'd recommend you check out more of them
To answer some of your questions: no, the one dancing by (far right) is not the main dancer. The one with blue hair is the main dancer, rapper and sub vocalist. Yes, the two main vocalists are the one in the blue sweater and the one in the white shirt with shorts. And what happened in the end is that the group had been inactive for 5 years, this Killing voice marked their return and that is why they chose a ballad with lyrics they all wrote and it was the OST of their 1st world tour, they thanked for the wait and expressed their affection to his fans, that's why it was a sweet and emotional closing.
It's so insane to me that Woohyun (second from right) was recovering from stomach surgery that he had because of a rare form of cancer when this was recorded. And he still somehow managed to sound so insanely good even if he wasn't able to belt like he used to in older songs. I will never get over it Most of the members do have solo stuff, though not nearly as much as they deserve. They had a pretty huge drought before they left Woolim and make their own company sadly
Maybe that's why he has so little parts compared to the other members. There are so much parts that he could showcase but I think that would be to much since his operation was still fresh.
@@Rubys_Rouge yeah that was my assumption. I wouldn't be surprised if the members specifically chose songs/sections with that in mind. Not to mention they probably tried to give Sungjong and Sungyeol more lines since they had basically nothing in most songs
If 3rd gen has Seventeen and 4th gen has The Boyz for boy group choreos, then 2nd gen has Infinite. They're the original "kings of synchronization" after all plus, their discography is amazing too.Their latest album is amazing.
L (the guy in blue with the bottle in the middle) is indeed the center of the group and he is an actor. My favorite drama of his is 'Angles last mission - Dan's first love' ❤
The Chaser is THAT song. One of the all-time greats of kpop. I remember Billboard declared it the best kpop song of 2012 and tbh it still holds up today. thank you, i enjoyed this reaction so much🥹💕💕 i was really happy with their comeback last year, we missed them😔 infinite music is sooo unique, their sound is like a mix between classical music and rock and then you have amazing vocals and harmonies. paradise is one of my fav song ever, also I would recommend: man in love, last romeo, destiny, the eye and their Japanese songs dilemma, dna (literally all of their titles are hits) and they always have a live band in their concerts, I recommend you to check their performances they’re so good🤯 whenever i watch variety shows and they bring infinite they always talk about how they have so many 명곡 “myonggok” which literally mean immortal song, they use this word to refer to songs that widely considered masterpieces and classics❤️

I remember reading that they just wanted to do a little photo shoot together NOT MUSIC. I can’t imagine working with my bestie I’ll be real.

I highly recommend the bside 'gun' from it! sunggyu might be recognizable from his solo music or recent kpop audition shows (he's been a mentor/judge on quite a few). and yes, they left woollim and set up their own company with sunggyu as the CEO! their recent comeback was after a 5 year hiatus involving military service/problems with woollim etc. so it was quite emotional for both the members and inspirits. they're planning on staying active and a new comeback is already in the works! I would really recommend reacting to the bside 'time difference' from their latest album- it encapsulates infinite's overall sound pretty well :) also, since you like sungjong, I also suggest watching his cover of 'coming of age ceremony'... super iconic.
Ahhhhh INFINITE's one of my favorite 2nd gen artists!!!!! They were tail end 2nd gen. Hoya was my bias, but after he left I settled on L. Dongwoo comes for me all the time though lol. My favorite title track from them is Nothing's Over. I think I'm in the minority there, but I just love it so much. I also love Can U Smile a lot. Their song Thank You has no MV but it's also a really good one. Their discography is one of my favorites. I still have so many of their older songs on my playlist they're just great!
