If i'm not mistaken these bridges you can use as a normal road, i don't know if are buildable road or not, but these pack are a fresh air for cities skylines
As someone who checks the transport section of the workshop every few days, this gave me mini heart attack. I wanted some more metro stations so urgently and it's like CA just heard my prayers
The steep slopes on those subways and how fast they take them bugs me because it destroys the realism. There should be some traffic signals too, but that's okay. It would be droll to have a single track going both ways option, it's just one train has to stand at a red light while another train clears it. Also, when they turn real fast around a sharp curve and the corners of the cars all jut out, it bugs me too. The monorails look more realistic but then the scissor crossing on a monorail track bugs me as well, switches on monorails require physically moving sections of rails but in the game the train just goes through the rail, it's more complicated and requires machinery to move the section of rail, when in railroad trains a switch can be a completely manually-operated thing with a lever.
Wow looks great. Feels a bit like paid mods but they deserve recognition for these beautiful creations. Hopefully when they make a Cities Skylines 2, they keep them on the team! :D
I like the content creator packs. I like how they make an effort to reward the asset creators with official recognition and hopefully some actual cash.
Indeed. Nothing wrong with giving something back to the people building all those lovely assets and mods. I've been using BadPeanut's assets for so long now, I just have to buy this DLC!
I was hoping this comment would be here, because I was going to write it if it wasn’t. I agree, it’s completely ridiculous, and quite frankly, rather superfluous at this point. Why pay for something I’ve had with mods for the past six years? Maybe it makes sense for console players I guess
You don't need water to build a bridge. You can build bridges over canyons. You can build bridges between mountains. You can build bridges over other roads.
My faves are the quay walls without a doubt - because they give us something that's not in the game as of yet! For metros, I usually go for underground ones for space reasons. But for quays we only ever had just one option and finally there's some versatility there. Love it.
I really enjoy that there's greenery integrated as well, imagine that modern train station with the green hill, that could bring some much needed greenery into a tightly build up area!
A central subway station is a very nice addition for me, the ability to run multiple lanes in a single station like Berri-UQAM in Montreal which has three lanes makes that pack almost worth the buy alone.
Thanks I did not have time on weekend to troubleshoot so was thinking I would need to waste time before I played next w/e but you have done it for me! Great...more playing time.
This is one of the cooler console available packs. I really wish those network extension roads were available for console though. I know traffic manager will never be there.
Hey Biffa! Espresso, not tea today with your vid but once again you've done a service to the community. I bought both packs. I still struggle mightily with trains so don't use them much but I think Bad Peanut deserves a little recognition for his many contributions to the workshop. Loading Screen Mod has already been updated so there is no need for further hesitation. Thanks for the lowdown on the new content.
Oh wow, those train stations actually look amazing! I often build huge, complex rail/metro networks in my cities and I could see myself using a lot of these! Kind of overshadows the bridges and quays pack a little, but having said that, some of those bridges and quays do look really cool too! I definitely need to get both these packs!
@@HighlandLaddie How ridiculous - Colossal Order abandoning this game, creating C:S2 and making it incompatible with everything from C:S would be you having to repurchase. 100% optional packs that extend the current game is hardly having to repurchase. Adding additional packs aren't required, don't change the core game but do allow you to extend your enjoyment of the game you already own. It takes a lot of effort to create high quality assets - why shouldn't people get compensated for that? If you are unwilling or unable to pay the good news is you don't have to - the game you already bought works just fine!

Yeah, even MORE DLC!!!! Wheeeee! Maybe they can get C:S to be more like the Sims and have over $500 worth of DLC. Just gouge those players on DLC!!!! Super-expensive games for everyone (who can afford it)
the above ground station in the middle of the roundabout reminds me of Praterstern in VIenna. there's no way i'm not gonna make a mini-Prater amusement park in my city now
These assetts are just soo beautiful! That last train hub, with the market underneath could be just in the city center of a European City! Just Gorgious! And the bridges and Quays, just amazing! I really hope that Colossal Order will endorse more content creators like this. They allready did a phantastical job with the city themes!
Biffa in a previous video (maybe last one, not sure): after a look at steam workshop, I found none elevated train stations or something like. Few days later: elevated train stations! Maybe a spoiler? Or just a huge coincidence... anyways, someone is grabbing extra cups of tea at home to show us all the new stuff running in the city.
Very nice looking buildings. I can just picture Biffa using the mega Metro Hub (at 6:19) in his downtown between big buildings. He could call it "Good to the last drop Plaza" or "Good to the last sip Plaza", I know the first one is a coffee slogan.
Those train stations are amazing. Can’t wait to see you use them. That new pedestrian bridge could replace the one you just built between the NoProblemAtoll and Teasney.
That metro plaza is perfect for a busy city center. It doesn't take too much space and there are five lines that connect at this plaza. An amazing asset. I'd still like to have a simple undercround metro station where only two lines cross.
>"I'd still like to have a simple undercround metro station where only two lines cross." Yes! It's kind of amazing one of those isn't built into the game. Also a metro station that has entrances at either end of the train platform a couple of blocks apart. A very common configuration in Washington DC I rather enjoy.
There is one thing yet to be fixed, is the way tracks can be connected to some style of stations. For example, the station with curved parking area you were moving around at 3:36. Look at the way the four tracks at the platforms are scrunched together to join the two tracks, it looks messy. It would be nice if we could join two double tracks in parallel to the station. There are quadruple tracks available in MOM, but they only connect to Metro stations.
These packs are nice, but I really wish they would do some more map options and just parking lots for PS4 players. I have all the DLCs and Creator packs, not sure this one is my cup of tea..... But still nice work for those who are looking for these things...
Brilliant talent. My favourite stations are the hub with the arches and the multiple level one, and my favourite bridge is the European two-lane stone bridge. But, really, I love them all.
Ive always wanted the key walls to contain a path way. I thought that it was always such a waste NOT being able to put a path along them (I play on Xbox) I cant wait to get home on Monday evening to check to see if these are available for download. Thank you Biffa for showing these off!
Absolutely in love with the bridges!! I was so excited to see new content for CS. My favorite bridge is the simple green American one. It reminds me of home. Those bridges are everywhere here. Great showcase video. Thanks for sharing!
wow, being on pc im not too keen on spending money on things i can just get in the workshop, but THESE are amazing! i love that they have built in parking, because i'm a stickler for detail, and always end up putting in parking lots myself... now i just gotta get the game working after switching out my SSD... exceptional work creators!
I saw them yesterday in the announcement show, as soon as she said that these are 'available now' i went to steam and bought them. These certainly add variety to the city. I just hope all this stuff will work with upcoming versions of Cities Skylines... if there ever is a 2.0 version 😅
I love how they also made it so that now instead of a steady good 33 FPS, I get to play with 30 because they didn't change anything besides add assets.
I like sunken train stations. Not like I would think to design these exact ones but it is close enough as well. The bridges are sorely needed. That look helps tie styles together.
I love the metro and train station hub with the glass top. It reminds me of Seoul Station. Also, I've been waiting a long time for some really classy-looking quays and that American Truss Bridge. Working on some of the rockier maps, I think the truss bridges will look amazing going over a gorge!!
Loving that these were made for Console as well. Purchased them as soon as I saw the announcement and have an elevated station in my city of Cologne. I also used the the high speed viaduct in sections of my rail and converted one of my six lane road bridges. Good job bad peanut. Loving your work as well Biffa. Thanks for the demo. Wanting to use the metro plaza and the new end depot in Empire City once I unlock the milestones.
The stations that hook to the 4-lane roads would make switching to, say, a bus or monorail very easy; it doesn't look like there'd be anything to stop you attaching one to a road upgraded with bus lanes or monorail tracks (probably not the in-road monorail station, but still).
When Biffa said "DONT LOOK OVER THERE" I assumed there was another fire instead of secrets. I already bought these direct from Steam. I should have looked to see if there was an affiliate link before like when I used Biffa's one to get Sunset Harbour
Actually it can be said both ways.... and phonetically apperantly, according to Merriam Weber at least (just looked it up when he said it as that word bugged the crap out of me over the years)
Next thing we need integrated into the base game are BadPeanut's fantastic 2/4/6-lane roads with lanes for bikes, trams and buses. Wouldn't say no to a MrMaison nature pack either.
That metro plaza hub on three different levels reminds me so much of Berlin Central Station! Actually, if you were to put the end station (with all that glass) and the metro plaza hub together you'd basically get the look and functionality of Berlin Central Station! Berlin Central Station has platforms that are located underground used for regional and intercity services, as well as for the future S21 S-Bahn line (the German S-train systems are a "hybrid urban-suburban rail serving a metropolitan region.") Platforms at ground level are used for regional and intercity services as well as the Berlin S-Bahn. And then it also has separate platforms for the Berlin underground metro. Basically it's like if you take the more regional trains you're going to be on the upper level and the more long-distance ones are on the lower level and then that lower level also has a separate metro island platform.
They need to make a Content Creator pack out of the Barges (Cargo Ferries) along with the one-way Ferry Path, the existing barge "harbors", and maybe a few more barge "harbors". And a quay with train tracks on top. ;)
*runs off to the link to purchase the packs* I've not bought any content creator packs before but now starting to see how awesome they can be. Thanks Biffa.
I don't know if anyone else has said this, but I feel that the train station with the grass would look great in a self-sufficient district. I love them all and will be purchasing!
Absolutely amazing that they reward content creators by these packs (can't imagine this game without bad peanut). But I've gotta say, that selecting bridge from network mods is much better (you can change lights, pillars and roads for each section). Also - can you build curved bridges? And very disappointed about quays - they still leave this sharp edge if a road is placed nearby. So you have to use moveit mod like crazy.
Some of those stations have a rather German feel about them as a couple of them remind me of stations I've visited in Berlin and the market one reminds me a tad of Leipzig.
So, just curious, is this the "news they couldn't talk about just yet" on the future of Cities Skylines that they teased that everyone thought was CS2? Because, if it is, that's painfully disappointing.
The train station with the market can be placed near your hypermarket and the big metro station can be placed to the new land you gonna unlock as it may facilitate your people to go to work
Looking amazing as always. Coffee is just a stronger version of tea. I think that the Devs are taking notes. It is suspicious that they have been doing a lot recently with adding stuff. Maybe they're getting ideas for City Skylines 2 🤔
as always, new shiny stuff means you need to do massive remodelling of your city to fit it in :D those are looking good - might need to start a new city which is also always good fun
I love these CCPs so much!! I do really wish the stations came separately from the parking spaces, but I totally understand why that’s not easily doable :D they’re amazing assets nonetheless
These are the first Creator Packs for C:S that I've purchased, as the reviews for the various building ones all mention that those work as Themes, thus you can't mix and match. If they were district themes, like Self-Sufficient Res or Organic Com, I might have gotten them.
Looking forward to the New Tealand facelift. Those bridges might actually be my favorite. And you do have the Highland District island that is begging for a bridge to either a prison or a very posh housing district.
Just bought the packs. Love them!! I am so grateful for you showing these to us and to the creators. I am so happy there is some new “official” content. Can’t wait till there is some new larger upgrades and content.

Armesto did a great job as well. Can't wait to try out his works in my cities.
They have no reason to work on a second one. Zero competition in city building games
@@twork troll.
Unbelievable, i saw that the dlc came out and my first thought was "Biffa has to talk about it right now"
Good to know that this game is still getting DLC even after so much time
Just took a break from Cities, now I have to go buy 2 more DLCs. I have wanted nicer transit hub areas and nowI can! Love it!
I would like to see the American Four-Lane Truss Brigde cause there are four lanes on it and also two lanes sidewalks down below this. ^^
as always, new shiny stuff means you need to do massive remodelling of your city to fit it in :D those are looking good - might need to start a new city which is also always good fun
Most exciting, people have been wanting Metro stations where the rails go perpendicular to the road it snaps to for so long.
I love these CCPs so much!! I do really wish the stations came separately from the parking spaces, but I totally understand why that’s not easily doable :D they’re amazing assets nonetheless
The train station one is the first creator pack I bought on release. Absolutely splendid
They knocked it out of the park with these content creator packs! I never purchased something so quickly, haha.
I've just being playing around with these two dlcs. The train stations are fantastic! ☺️
I do believe you are the only one covering this new content. Thanks for getting the video out so quickly!
New stations are a game changer. Have been needed since launch. Bridges are just a nice to have.
Finally bridges with some really decent walking paths!
These two content creator packs fills in the emptiness that was variety in those sectors, that console players couldn't fill
So true.
Just bought the packs. Love them!! I am so grateful for you showing these to us and to the creators. I am so happy there is some new “official” content. Can’t wait till there is some new larger upgrades and content.
How much it cost
