Most System32 files are owned by Trustedinstaller and you need to take ownership of them to delete them. But still, it is easier to ruin the windows installation than uninstall edge…

@Sylar Rogue deleting system32 just kills the os, even the dll files needed to run apps are there, you could either reinstall or just copy a system32 from other pc with the same os as you have, i often do the latter one with my triple boot hard drive lol

Disagree. People will definitley mess with something so oviously called "important" or "do not delete". In general people will not go deeper in windows folders and delete something that has a name that they don't unterstand, because surely it is important.

You actually can’t delete it unless you change the owner of the folder to your user account
I believe they have these hidden unless you enable show hidden folders. To try and minimize normal user error. Basicly if you don't know what your doing don't do this. Best way of saving your files is buy a toaster online 20 dollars to take ur storage devices and back them up then wipe PC and reinstall. You could try using a windows install to recreate and add the files back in.

Windows literally won't let you uninstall edge. You have no idea what you're talking about. Your bootloader is in no way involved with your web browser. Bootloader is the first line of command when you power on a pc to provide a bios to run your os.

Technically incorrect, if you have another hard drive with an OS on it and boot from that drive, you’ll be able to access the drive that doesn’t have the System32 files on it.
Still, very stupid thing to do for sure. If you want your computer to run more quickly or something, it’s best just to download more RAM.

Even if you are logged in with a local admin account you cannot delete system 32. By default you don’t have permissions to delete the vast majority of the system 32 folder without forcing ownership in command prompt by running takeown or icalcs to give yourself the rights to delete them.

I ran it on my laptop as a joke because I thought it wouldnt work but it started anyway so I stopped it at 34%, not sure if I fucked anything up doing that but the laptop still works a year or so later.

4 years earlier i deleted sys32 becoz of a virus thinking it would be gone but i had no idea what i was doing when deleting sys34. Then my OPerating sys display was now all black then my apps were not opening it would pop up and goes away fast. my wifi setting were not responding.
