I played around 5 hours after patch on Ps5 and the stuttering is still there for me shame but I still love the game hopefully they fix the pedestrians I feel like they have a death wish

your car is in the same state as mine lol same car as well but i noticed the graphic in the corner when i loaded it up earlier which is handy for me because im pretty new to simulator games and im on series x didnt have much issue with stuttering except very occasionally but did notice my steering was a little more sensitive so turned the sensitivity down slightly seems ok now but im liking this game a lot i was getting rear ended a lot when i started but seems fine now

i am enjoying it its definitely fun when you want to play something but it isnt too time consuming but also very chill and i have watched a few of your videos and like my youtube friend i have known for years now you explain things very clearly while also putting some humour in because i admit i am thick as shit sometimes and takes ages for things to sink in my stupid brain lol so i just subscribed as well
I’m soooooo pumped with this game. It plays SOOOOO great and even with the controller! Can’t wait to watch the video because it’s already solid in my opinion.

Looks very smooth now, hope its the same on PS 5. With hopefully better AI and not so much pedestrians crossing 😅. Will be back for sure but at the moment I simply cannot stop playing Expeditions. What a fantastic game. Thanks a million for that tip mate 😊

My Xbox series-x very good, buttery smooth from the get go. Also I found my brake screeching was reduced when I upgraded my brakes (and maybe tires as well). Regardless, great to see them making improvements.
I upgraded the brakes and tyres but still getting screeching , 🤔🤔
Can change the accelerator and brake sensitivity in the settings mate 😊@@CGDGAMES
The second they add wheel support there gonna sell a lot more copies. I and a few people I know won’t buy this until wheel support for consoles is added.

put settings to semi simulation and that will stop vehicle roll back when stopping .
I tried that and the vehicle still rolls back 🤷♂️

I couldn’t wait to play this after the update, until I had a passenger and I was stopped at a red light and had about 2 cars crash into the back of me :( my client was not happy with me :( although I’m pleased it’s not stuttering anymore. I doubt I will be playing it again very soon until they fix the cars crashing into the back of me and they stop pedestrians crossing in front of me. I will be happy to get back into it. Although, I’m pleased a few of the updates :) from this update :)
I had one crash into me last night in about 2 hours , seems like you were really unlucky there buddy , the game needs a lot more TLC so fingers crossed it can only get better?

This game is already awesome, although it's in early stage... it has so much potential... great concept... I also recommend you to play this game with a a wheel and shifter... it feels so good, I cannot even describe... much better feel than ETS2 for example...
When wheel support comes to console I'll give it a go

I’m still having the issue where cruise ctrl turns the engine off. Decent update though and yeah, no stuttering when I played it earlier. Hopefully the tyre noises go soon.

when using my logitech wheel, sometimes in certain parts of the map it starts fighting against me. I would be driving straight and the game would be forcing it fully left for no reason.

You could try switching to simi sim or sim plus mode
I did try this , still get the tyre screeching , not as bad though !
PS5 here update seems to fix the freeze issue so far have noticed an increase on pedestrians crossing whilst on green lights lol must have a death wish 😂

I think Nacon have abandoned Train Life unfortunately, it hasn't had any updates on Steam since late 2022, so I very much doubt there'll be any updates coming to console any time soon
I'm a glass half full kind of guy so I always like to think that they might go back and tidy the loose ends up , wishful thinking on my end more than anything !

Wheel support is lacking. Using PXN V9 and only Wheel works not the pedals and shifter.

I bought the game to help the devs and I've still not played more than one hour of it. By the time wheel support releases, there will have been plenty of game improving updates then it will be a significantly better game to play on wheel
So are they saying that they fix the stuttering problems by making the city less crowded? That’s ridiculous.
By the way same here. I played it intensely for about five days. And I haven’t touched it since. It got old really really quick. I don’t know why we just can’t randomly pick people up on the street.
And why can’t our hired workers work when we are asleep?

I always the research before putting my hard earned cash towards games. And I knew there was a very very strong possibility of what’s going on. That’s my prediction. I got that too when I played more last night , sometimes it's a god send , as it can really help the flow of traffic , you could also say it's realistic as some people do jump lights , but not the amount of times it happens in game lol !

Yes , that have nerfed the payments !
Definitely a step forward with the AI ramming thing but a bit of a step backwards everywhere else. Pedestrians and AI traffic are noticeably reduced as well as pop-in and detail draw distances being considerably worse so it's not a particularly good compromise for slightly improved framerate stability....and it does kind of make you wonder exactly what else is going to be removed to further improve stability.
Had to laugh at you developing a pet hate with the tyre screeching because I have one too. Mine is the jelly suspension of the vehicles.....I truly hate the way the car rocks backwards and forwards multiple times every time you come to a stop or when you pepper the brakes at low speed.
But yeah, I'm still bitterly disappointed with Simteract because they had 3 years to develop the game to a high enough standard and over a year to learn from the mistakes they made with the launch of Train Life...and done neither!
I had written a full review just before the update , I need to make a few changes to that review now before I record it , I'm not overall impressed by the game at all , whilst deep in some areas , it's so shallow so many others as you have pointed out , it seems like another wasted opportunity to me !

@@CGDGAMES I think it’s a combination of a few of things dude like the rear view mirror seems very out of focus and shadowy, I’ve noticed a small 3d red/blue tinge from the number plate on exterior view and parts of the sat nav on the interior view and going round corners for me at times feels visually like spinning round in an office chair 😵💫 my eyes and head start to hurt and I feeling like puking! I play in a race sim style setup on a 32” 4K screen running at 60 fps roughly 4ft from the screen. Other games are fine. I’ve changed various settings and 2 seperate televisions with the same results, was even starting to wonder if I’d done something wrong buying the disc version🙈Be interesting to fire the game up again just to see what difference the patch makes.
Oh my God. I just played the update. What a scam brother. Xbox series X. First of all the Poppins are nuts. Audio glitches all over the place. There is absolutely no car out there anymore. I see a car once in a while and it’s still stutters.
That’s it uninstall until they fix this.
I hope the developers see your TH-cam post brother. Because this is a bloody scam.

is that the case with you too? The game is actually worse. It’s a lifeless city with barely any cars and no more traffic jams. And it still bugs down for me
After 20 odd hours with the game I'm just bored with it now tbh , fixes or no fixes , the whole loop just bores me stiff , a bit like it does with truck and logistics ! Small map , with repetitive game loop , doesn't make for a good combination imo, it's a shame really as I feel it's massive wasted opportunity.
Will see what future updates bring to the table , for now I'm really enjoying light-year frontier on Gamepass so I'll stick to that 👍
