What about textures for materials? As I understand it, they are not transferred to the folder with usd aset? It turns out that the process is as follows: first you have to create a folder where the asset will be saved, then move all the textures there, and only then generate in LOPs usd asset?
Thank you this was great. You mentioned you can swap assets out - say I have a new version of a rock - how would I update the asset in the layout node without laying them out again?
I got an answer from SideFX and you can use an edit protype node to swap out your asset. Seems to work a treat. They plan to implement it better in future
How can I save an asset with textures? It's just referencing, not copying over. How can i edit paths in the future? Let's say I moved the original folders. And one more, How can I view assets as bounding boxes in the viewport? That option is not visible with the layout node.
