It's pretty awesome how you want to see people succeed. What I see having been in the reptile community since the 90's is people stick to one thing and reducing their market even more.
As a mammal breeder I see way more struggles within our side of the hobby due to mammals being more work and generally more expensive but generally the points of this video apply to us as well

At shows, I see so many people just sitting behind their booths, like they are at a baseball game. Professionalism and engagement, at shows can be a lot better. Great video.

Not even ready to pair so I'm just waiting. hoping to have so pairs by the end of the year. I need to get the socials going here soon, I just havn't had anything to spark what would be meaningful content.
That is an awesome question! We definitely need to do a video on it. To start, I would just post your animals in order to show people what projects you are in. Once you move beyond that phase, I would focus on answering questions that your potential customers would have. i.e. if you are going to be selling pets, answer questions like “what size rat should I feed,” “how to deal with stuck shed,” or “best ways to provide enrichment for a ball python.” If you are going to be selling snakes to new breeders then you might make content like “how to incubate ball python eggs”, “how to know if a ball python is ovulating” or “how to ID specific morphs”

I think this is a great video! It’s easy to get discouraged by blaming external factors for a lack of success. Personally, I find it hard to make time for advertising/marketing because I don’t enjoy that as much. It’s definitely something I’m planning to work on in the new year.
