Yeah Manila can get hot right now as its the middle of summer here today and even us locals can’t bear the heat right now. There’s some places up north in the Philippines that are relatively cooler like Baguio City and Sagada. Us Filipinos go there with family on vacation to escape the heat and humidity of Manila and to see pine trees and enjoy the cool weather. You might wanna check those cities out plus Baguio is known for its vegetables and vegetarian restaurants, coffee, and beer (Baguio Craft Brewery) 😊 As for the food, I highly recommend you guys try Sinigang.

Welcome to the Philippines! You need to try our local foods (adobo, sinigang, bulalo, bicol express, crispy pata, and of course our famous lechon). Since you're in Manila, you should go to China Town in Binondo. You'll find that it is way different than the places you've been to on your first day (much, much crowded). That place has the best Filipino-Chinese food around. Also try going to some night markets where you can try various street foods. Whatever you do, DO NOT LEAVE THE PHILIPPINES WITHOUT TRYING BALUT.

Try to include in your itinerary (If you have the time) the Northern Part of the Philippines like the BATANES (the New Zealand vibes) region, the mountaneous Baguio City (Summer Capital of the Philippines), the Surfing Capital of the North in La Union (Unyon) in the Ilocos region and Vigan (the Spanish vibes) province. Not to forget, in the southern part of the big island of Luzon, is the Bicol region where the majestic and world's almost perfect cone of Mount Mayon is located. All should be done before going to the island hopping provinces in the Central Visayas and Siargao province, Surfing Capital of the South in Mindanao. You should definitely visit Intramuros….and Binondo, which is the oldest Chinatown in the world and try some authentic Chinese and Filipino food…also near by is the Rizal Park.

You gotta try Halo-Halo a popular Filipino dessert. Explore the Greenbelt area malls in Makati. Salcedo Saturday Market also in Makati or the Legazpi Sunday market. These markets are open in the morning only. So come early. Enjoy!

Try to include in your itinerary (If you have the time) the Northern Part of the Philippines like the BATANES (the New Zealand vibes) region, the mountaneous Baguio City (Summer Capital of the Philippines), the Surfing Capital of the North in La Union (Unyon) in the Ilocos region and Vigan (the Spanish vibes) province. Not to forget, in the southern part of the big island of Luzon, is the Bicol region where the majestic and world's almost perfect cone of Mount Mayon is located. All should be done before going to the island hopping provinces in the Central Visayas and Siargao province, Surfing Capital of the South in Mindanao. You must visit the Hundred islands in alaminos pangasinan the original tourists spots in the philippines and other nearby beautiful beaches you won't regret visiting the place .
You should definitely visit Intramuros….and Binondo, which is the oldest Chinatown in the world and try some authentic Chinese and Filipino food…also near by is the Rizal Park.
