Good afternoon, Miss Carol! Yes, the red toile fabric is French, it was the lines of the loveseat that reminded me of the English rolled arm sofas. I'm glad you like the terrier! Thank you for visiting today!
❤ SO beautiful! I love your new to you couch and the upholstered coffee table! I am not a big supporter of this many bricks in a living room, but you and your husband did a great job with bookshelves on each side of the fireplace!
Lovely changes! Have you ever considered using the window seat as a window seat? With your sewing skills and luck with thrifting beautiful fabric and pillows, it would come together in no time! It would give extra seating too. But whatever you do, it will be nice!

Good morning, Miss Lina! Thanks for looking us up! Currently, my website is undergoing a revamp, and thus, emails are on pause. I'm so glad you enjoyed phase two of the living room makeover! Yes, a single cushion was on my list for the loveseat. It's so comfy! I'm really looking forward to sharing the dining room as it has the loveliest Laura Ashley wallpaper! Anyway, thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day! 💐
Thank you, Mrs. Ben! sometimes it's worth it to pivot on a decision when designing a room. I'm loving the loveseat too! Thanks for dropping by & have a great weekend!
Would like to see a full fireplace mantle . The short mantle detracts with the brass screen. And yes, the brown couch should be replaced by that lovely loveseat. Always appreciate your styling on your shelving. Best wishes
Aloha, Rachel. I absolutely adore your and hubby's new "snug"! Who says we can't preserve some of the charm of Europe in our homes?! I had a small wooden shelf that I was looking to paint and hang on a faux red brick wall (the Dollar Tree version; lol!) over my cooktop. When I saw what you did to your fireplace mantle, I told myself, "That's the color!" As you own a painting business, I knew I was in good hands! Thanks so much for sharing just the right color! ☕
Looks great, keep an eye out for a large silver tray you can use on the ottoman/coffee table. Also, a large basket with a lid would be great on the bottom shelf behind the end table. You can store games or extra decor you find you use for seasonal decor.
Love all you've done, Rachel! And that beautiful loveseat you found is the cherry on top!! The room is so cozy and inviting...just that kind of English snug you needed! I do tend to agree with the others on the brown sofa. But I also realize husbands need a comfy place to recline/lounge on at day's end or whenever. So maybe as the budget allows, that could be something to replace down the road. But it's all come together so beautifully.
@@StoneCottageHome Rachel...I just did what I so dislike when others do. I should never have commented about your sofa b/c you never asked anyone's opinion about it. @roxiemartin7262 Good afternoon, Miss Roxie. Your follow-up comment was heartwarming and makes me think of the verse "before honor is humility." I appreciate the humility and kindness you've shown in apologizing. Yes, I accept and respect you more because of it. Thank you. 😊 I'm glad you picked up a new English cottage term! I agree with the that the brown couch could go It does look very comfy, but if hubby needs a place to relax, invest in a recliner for him. I'm sure you can find one that fits your decor.
Hi Rachel! I love the darker mantel and the khaki on the bookcases better than the green color. Very nice! With that huge, gorgeous window you could have real plants in the room- one on the window seat, one on the mantel, and one at the edge of the fireplace would look lovely and bring life into the room. I also love the bamboo blinds and the new sofa. However, I liked the two chairs flanking the window. I would have left the chairs there and replaced the brown sofa with the new floral one perhaps. In any case, the room has really come a long way. I love the changes you've made. Thank you for sharing the process with us.
Hi sweet Rachel. I left a comment earlier but cant find it now. So i just wanted to reiterate that i LOVE what youre doing and want to encourage you again. You go girl!!! We love you and thank you for sharing and doing all the work for us to enjoy. ❤❤❤
Aww, Miss Joann! I'm so glad you left another comment! It's always a delight to see your name pop up! Plus you are always encouraging. I've thought of your little apartment and wished I could see how you have it decorated... I imagine it's the coziest! I'm glad you enjoy these videos, they are fun to create. This one was 3.5 months in the making as we gathered furniture, did the DIY projects etc. I'm hoping to share the dining room makeover sometime in June! Thanks for dropping by and have a lovely weekend!
I am inspired by your patient approach to decorating...it is the best way to achieve a "curated over time" British country look. My husband and I are downsizing for retirement. We purchased a smaller home and moved in 3 weeks ago. I am re-mixing our best furniture and treasured possessions. I had to give myself permission to start decorating the newly painted walls knowing that I can change it if I don't get it right the first time. Snug and familiar trumps perfect every time!
I'm glad to hear you are inspired! What incredible fun to have a fresh, blank slate to decorate, especially when you've already got a collection of furniture and decor you love! Take your time and have an absolute blast! Happy homemaking! 🏡
I love your bookshelves and your new couch. The beautiful picture over the fireplace is wonderful. I bought a picture at a thrift store and it’s with dogs on it outside with a awesome background. I don’t love the frame but I’m going to paint it and maybe add something to it but it touches my soul and even if I never change it I love it so much I’m going to center my front room around it. Thank you ❣️
You are doing a great job for us 'normal' homeowners. Teaching and giving us examples, showing how we can do so much without having to spend tons of money and being good stewards of our blessings. Hope you are well and looking forward to your future videos.
Good morning, Miss Melody! How encouraging! This is our goal, and it's kind of you to share how you've enjoyed the channel and been helped in creating your home! I'm doing well and on track (Lord willing) to publish another video this Friday. Have a lovely day!
I think you can keep the comfy brown couch for Matt but if you want to change the color I know you are handy with the sewing machine you could use curtains or coverlets or some large pieces of fabric and create a slipcover maybe even with the ruffle at the bottom
Oh Rachel, that Loveseat is absolutely LOVELY!! What a treasure!! 💖💖💖💖 I LOVE your bookcases! It ties in so BEAUTIFULLY with the Brick!! (Im SO glad you didnt paint the Brick!!🙂). You styled the Bookcases PERFECTLY!! 💖💖💖💖. Your Ottoman.....😍😍😍😍!! It really feels like a Cozy English Cottage!! PS. I have the same Old Radio. I LOVE it!! 🤗💖 Oh and Happy Mother's Day my friend 💖🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 XOXO
Never fails. Every time I see your name pop up I smile! It's good to hear another person likes traditional brick fireplaces. I'm enjoying the bookcases and yes, we use this ottoman several times a day! Don't you love your radio?! Happy Mother's Day to you & have a gorgeous weekend! 😊🌸🌷
Amazing and much brighter. Love the new love seat with the large footrest, and the brown sofa. At least on camera it looks like it blended it all together. The bookshelves are perfect. Love the pictures and lamps too. Well done. Starting to look like one of those cottage book pictures. It is inviting and warm but bright. The blinds are great choice too. Love the doggy ceramic piece and the blue and white pieces. Pictures with the candle sticks too.
Ms. Rachel, I Absolutely Love your videos, and your Wonderful views concerning the process of creating a home that is cozy and beautiful. I Truly Appreciate how you enjoy the process of creating a Beautiful home, along with your Husband. Ms. Rachel, not only are you Extremely Gifted at creating an Amazingly warm home, but you are also Very Inspiring. Thank You for taking us along as you, and your Husband transform your home into the home of your dreams, while you simultaneously encourage and inspire So Many of us. Please take care, and continuous blessings in The Lord to you and your family. Sincerely, Paula 😊
This is such a wonderful video. I really like your concluding comments about done being better than perfect. I have one design principle that I’ve been using and that is to put storage on the short walls of the room. This includes my kitchen. It feels as if you are not getting as much storage by not going around corners but it makes the proportions of the room so much better.
Good morning, Ms. Rachel! Oh my goodness! The room turned out beautifully!!! You and Matt did a fabulous job. I adore all the lovely details! Thank you for sharing. ❤, Bobbie.
It's so sweet of you to share your home projects with us. Just as with a garden a house is never "finished". The room looks comfy an homey and your happiness in creating your spaces is a joy to be part of. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind reply, it's a pleasure to "have" you as a guest in our home, Miss Merryl. You're right, a home is never "finished" and I'm happy with that! Thank you for visiting today!
Wow! Somehow the room looks much bigger now - must be the lighter color on the wall and bookcases. :) You did an amazing job and as always, I especially enjoyed your attitude towards the whole process. The loveseat is really cute also.
You think so?! I wonder if the lighter colors and freshly painted ceiling contribute to the feeling of lightness... I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for stopping by!
Looking good! I was surprised to see you drill into the bookcase to hang the art. A Command hook might have been a better, less permanent option for such a small piece. Especially because shelves get rearranged so frequently.
I agree that taking your time and letting the room guide you over time in layers is definitely the English way. I remember reading that advice in a Laura Ashley decorating book years ago. Phew! It lets us all relax and enjoy the process as we create our own cozy timeless style! ~Rub N buff on the brass fireplace surround would really mellow it out and make it feel more aged and cohesive.
I loved the bookcases in the green, the loveseat is beautiful and looks awesome in the living room I’m not sure about the brown sofa it looks comfy but the color might be too dark now all in all the living room looks like the English snug and as you add to it I’m afraid you will never want to leave that room lol. Thank you for showing us your new living room. 😊❤
Iliked the green bookcases better, and the love seat should be where the couch is.....and couch gone and put chair back in and buffet back.. but its not my house, and if you are happy and like it I am happy for you.
I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. Like you, I love the challenge of finding things for the best price and using things in new ways! Thanks for stopping by!
Mrs.Rachel, I love the changes you have made over time. You are right when it takes time and enjoying each stage. Being content and thank for each blessing we receive along the way. I love the blues and green. Absolutely beautiful...the touches of brass and wood. A very lovey and comfortable English snuge.Thank you so much for sharing...It's very encouraging and helpful.
Thank you too for sharing your thoughts and being so encouraging! We both are very happy with how this room is taking shape, and especially how comfy it is! Blessings to you and yours.
Hi Rachel, the living room is so warm and inviting. You did a wonderful job on pulling this together. My favorite ideas were on the bookshelves. I am going to use some of those ideas for my bookshelves, because I haven't been able to pull any ideas together on my own. Thanks!
Absolutely, Miss Jackie, you are so welcome! Some of those decor arrangements were by my friend, Robin and she had ideas I never would've thought of. Thanks for popping by and have a lovely evening!
Beautiful! I loved the idea of the green bookcases but I agree with you that the lighter color is best. The love seat could not be more perfect for your room.
Thank you, Miss Carolyn! It took awhile to decide on changing the color, but in the end it does seem like a calmer, quieter choice. Thank you for stopping by!
Rachel, you and Matt have created a lovely English snug for yourselves. Love the way that you decorated your new bookshelves. The books, pictures, candles and blue and white pieces are 💯. Puppy has a place of honor on the shelf! The bamboo shades are so lovely over your window. Your new loveseat is a special find! I was smiling during your video because of your joy in being able to decorate and have your dreams fulfilled. I'm sure that you will find more treasures and move things around to complete your design over time.💚🤍💙
Thank you! Yes, we are enjoying the new layers, and given time, I have more ideas and goals to finish out the room. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement!
I think it turned out beautifully! Love the bookcases in the final color and the loveseat...what a find! Looking forward to seeing the dining room makeover!
Thanks, Miss Annie! It was worth trying a different color! In the long run I thing the softer, quieter color will serve to support the vision we have for the mantel and not compete with it. But if not, it's just paint ~ we can change it again! Thanks for stopping by & sharing your thoughts.
Rachel, it looks so cozy. You and Matt have done such a beautiful job in your English Cottage makeover. I personally love the white and it does seem better the the green and you did a great job on the fireplace.... I simply love it and can now wait to see more of your amazing work....😍
Wonderful progress, Rachel! I agree that the brown sofa is detracting from the pleasing aesthetic in this room, and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn you are already on the hunt for the perfect solution to that. 😊
Good morning friends! Today we are sharing the next phase of our living room makeover in the English country style! I'm so excited to share the design process, DIY projects, second-hand shopping, and finally putting the room together. Enjoy!
Miss Rachel, the work you and Matt have done on this room is amazing. Looks warm and inviting - the perfect spot for soft background music, a good book and a cup of tea. Slow and curated always wins the race!! Congrats!!🎊
Absolutely! None of us live in a HGTV show in real life, nor do we have the budget for that. I'm glad you were encouraged ~ slow and steady is best in the long run!
You are such a lovely lady!!! Your room makeovers are too!! You put so much thought into all of your projects. Thank you for sharing them. I always look forward to seeing what your next project and video will be.
I expected you to replace the couch for the loveseat. I’m so in love with your new loveseat. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s perfect with the new bookshelves. It just fit into your space perfectly. I can imagine the total joy you had decorating your beautiful room. I can’t wait to see your ideas in the dining room. ~ Janet 😘
Yes, it seems many had the same expectation. That wasn't even on my radar as Matt enjoys that full sized couch daily. The loveseat is too girly and too short. At some point we'll replace it with something that passes his comfort test. Yes, seeing this space come together was tremendous fun! Oh, I'm just as excited about sharing the dining room makeover as it is just as dramatic a change s the living room (if not more)! Thanks for visiting today, Miss Janet!
I’ve always wanted a fireplace surround but too pricey, so I watched diy videos and built my own and I’m happy with how it turned out . I agree that the brown couch needs to go 😊..
Wow, I want that loveseat and the pillows that the lady had on it! This room re-do has to be the best one yet. Everything is so nice and bright and yet cozy at the same time. I guess I have to learn patience to wait for just the right pieces. Great job!
I understand! Thanks for the kind encouragement! Lighter/brighter yet still cozy is just what I was going for! Yes, patience will pay off... There were so many other loveseats available on Marketplace that I could've settled for and I'm so glad I didn't! You can do the same!
I love it all even the brown sofa, it gives your living room a cozy feel, especially how have it arranged, it flows well, the brown sofa gives it a warmth and pulls out the rose tones in the room as a whole
Hi Rachel! I quite like the painting on the mantel. I have to agree with Cindy. Take the brown sofa out. Move the loveseat where the sofa is now and put the chair back by the window seat. It will be fabulous. I'd try the bookcases closer to the mantel too. 'Gotta think about the Feng shui of it all as well as the beauty. Thanks for sharing your journey with us and inviting our thoughts and ideas.🙂
Hello, Thanks for the feedback, I love the painting too! The sofa will be staying for now as Matt enjoys the full length. At some point as budget allows he will get another one. As for the bookcase spacing, once the mantle is fully designed the available space will be different and the bookcases will be moved accordingly.
What a lovely makeover! That loveseat❤❤❤❤❤❤! I have those same 1990’s bookcases that I painted and put in my master bedroom. Coincidentally, I just repainted and added trim to them for next week’s video! We have such similar tastes; in fact, we own some identical items-a small wood box and stone horse bookends! I can’t wait to see your dining room makeover!
Aww, thank you so much, Miss Sherry! Yes, I adore this loveseat... Ooo, now I'm curious to see how your spindle bookcases turned out! It is fun to see the similarities in our tastes. I'm super excited to share the dining room makeover (spoiler alert ~ it has wallpaper)! Thanks for dropping by!
Rachel, that loveseat is so beautiful! What an inviting, cozy, peaceful room! And I love your approach - curated over time, budget-friendly- marketplace, thrifting,...doing what you can with the resources around you. So great. Watching your videos is truly a delightful experience. The Lord bless your family.
Thank you, Miss Kari! As you probably know, this approach to decorating is not new (it's just not popular), but it's so satisfying! It is a blessing to have you as a part of the Stone Cottage Home family. May the Lord richly bless you too!
@@StoneCottageHome I've done the same with our homes. We have moved multiple times but making a house a cozy home - thrifting, etc... is something I really enjoy. Have a wonderful day and thank you for all the time and effort you put into this channel.
@@StoneCottageHome Rachel, wonderful work on this room! My own home is still getting adjustments--after nearly 40 years! If I lived close enough I would haul my sewing machine over and make you a typical English slip cover for that brown sofa, it's such an affordable way to change a look.
@@Jen.O How very kind of you, Miss Jen! I would make you lunch with tea and we'd tackle it together! Thank you for your thoughtful, sweet support. Have a lovely evening!
oh, I loved the green, especially with your new loveseat and the green landscape picture..Thank you so much for showing us how to decorate, your teaching me so much! I love all the example pictures and your decor tips on colors and style! your patient, self controlled way!
I loved the green too and it was a hard decision. But in the end I decided the plans we have for the mantle would be the feature I want to highlight most. Besides, if I change my mind down the road ~ it's just paint! It's rewarding to know you are enjoying and benefiting from our videos, thanks for sharing that!
Oh my goodness what a beautiful transformation! You really scored with the pieces you found and you guys make a great couple because I can see he desires for your vision for your home to come together with his help, that is so sweet. I love the English country decor and if I could I would love a snug like that. The fireplace is beautiful and you did a great job on the mantle. Watching you decorate the bookcases has taught me a lot about how to go about doing the same. Beautiful room!
Thank you for the kind words of encouragement! You're totally right about my husband wanting to bring my design dreams to life - and he's good at it! I'm glad you picked up some useful shelf decorating inspiration. Several of the shelves were directly influenced by my friend, Robin (so the credit goes to her). Thanks for stopping by!
Hi, I'm new to your channel and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! I enjoyed watching this room come together and look forward to catching up on your videos. 😉
I see your vision.. it’s all coming along very nicely.. it takes time , sometimes many years .. but you are making lovely progress.. Stay true to your vision .. it’s all looks very pretty! ❤😊
The bookcases and the decor in them is a home run. Here are some suggestions: Put loveseat in place of the couch and bring back the wingback chair. Remove the couch. Too heavy, crowded and not the right style. White wash the bricks for a softer tone to remove the orangey look. Paint the wood frame on the mirror to and aged gold. Do a black undercoat and the add golds. Some black always looks good in English country. These changes are cost friendly but will make a big impact. You made some great scores on marketplace.
Isn't the slow process so satisfying?! It's fun to see the things you pictured falling into place, but it's also exciting when something unexpected pops up! Happy homemaking, Miss Cynthia!
Rachel so absolutely beautiful!! The couch!!! Your little snug looks amazing!! I so love your channel, and you continue to give me so much inspiration, as I continue to decorate my home.
How kind of you, Miss Liz! I'm always delighted to know when viewers are inspired and encouraged by our videos! May you have great success in cultivating the art your home!
Those bookcases look fantastic and that loveseat is GORGEOUS!! 😮 Wow! What a find! I agree with others. It would look great if you could feature it on the wall where the brown sofa is and ditch that sofa but I understand this is your living space after all and most of us want a sofa in our living room! If that’s the case, perhaps you can find an affordable soft color (creamy ivory) slipcover for it. I’ve purchased a couple over the years that were super affordable and decent quality. The room looks incredible! You’ve done such a great job pulling it all together and achieving that English Cottage look! I’ve truly enjoyed watching you work on it step by step. 💗

@@StoneCottageHome
Yay!! Can't wait!
Thank you ❣️
Thank you!
Your artwork sounds lovely. Thanks for sharing!
It’s beautiful!
The English cottage style just sings. The settee is perfect for the room.
Aw, thank you!
The whole room makes my heart sing, and we really enjoy our time here in the evenings. Thanks for sharing and stopping by!
You inspire me. I love th English country look and you make it seem attainable. Thank you for the videos. Keep up the good work
Thank you, Miss Ronda!
It is attainable, incredibly comfortable, and just plan fun! Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Have a lovely day!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! We appreciate your kind words of encouragement and support. Thank you for stopping by!
Ms. Rachel, I Absolutely Love your videos, and your Wonderful views concerning the process of creating a home that is cozy and beautiful. @@StoneCottageHome you're welcome, and thank you Ms. Rachel as well. 😊
What a great transformation, it looks so pretty. You have done a wonderful job, your new loveseat it's so pretty.
Thank you, Miss Marlene!
Your joy in appreciaticating the process and being grateful for every step is so encouraging.
Thank you, Miss Kelly!
This home is such blessings, I love it (quirks and all) more and more. Thank you for dropping by!
I enjoy your creativity and mixture of repurposed quality furnishings. It’s livable, touchable, & cozy. Real life!!
Thank you!
That's what we were going for!
Beautiful! I love the bookshelves with actual books.
Everything is lovely….so glad you put your books on the shelves properly instead of the bindings facing the back. 💗
Such a beautiful room. Most importantly is the sweet way you talk about your husband.
Thank you, Miss Diane.
Almost none of my projects (or even this channel) would exist without him. He is a tremendous blessing to me!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!
Good morning, Ms. Rachel! Oh my goodness! The room turned out beautifully!!! You and Matt did a fabulous job. I adore all the lovely details! Thank you for sharing. ❤, Bobbie.
Good morning, Miss Bobbie!
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad enjoyed the video. Thank you for visiting today!
Your face while carrying that sofa out of the store....like a kid getting their first bike for Christmas 😄 Your living room looks really lovely 🌺
Thank you, Miss Hannah!
Lovely redo love the new shelves and the beautiful mirror
That new loveseat IS perfection! Just lovely!
Thank you, I'm loving the loveseat! We appreciate you stopping by!
Beautiful Rachel!
Looking good! I was surprised to see you drill into the bookcase to hang the art. A Command hook might have been a better, less permanent option for such a small piece. Especially because shelves get rearranged so frequently.
The transformation is incredible, and very inspiring! Thank you.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
I think cabinet doors on the bottom of the bookcases would be a good idea.
More storage is always welcome, right?! Thanks for stopping by today!
Everything is coming together beautifully Rachel. I’m looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you!
Yes, let's move away from the HGTV mindset and enjoy our homes as they evolve. Thanks for the Rub 'n Buff tip. Have a lovely day!
I love your window seat! So charming. And the bookcases are so gorgeous.
Thank you!
Beautiful work!
You're very talented, and this turned out beautifully!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the mirror!
I love to watch your videos! So peaceful and enjoyable. I love your new settee! Blessings in your new space!
Thank you, Miss Patti!
We're glad to have you here! Thank you for your kind support of our channel. Have a lovely weekend!
Oh that love seat is stunning
Thank you!
Did you try swapping the loveseat and chair…..you have to have a little table to put by your chair….great job on the love seat….I am jealous
Your room is just wonderful!
I think it turned out beautifully! Love the bookcases in the final color and the loveseat...what a find! Looking forward to seeing the dining room makeover!
Thank you, Miss Susan!
Thanks for stopping by!
Love that you were willing to change the color of the bookcases. I thought it looked good before, but the lighter color really makes the room pop !
I simply love it and can now wait to see more of your amazing work....😍
Thank you, Miss Tina!
It’s so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats!!🎊
You got it, Miss Patricia!
We play soft Italian classical music and light a candle. I usually enjoy a cup of chai tea. Thank you for visiting! ☕️
Thank you forshowing how itis possible to take a makeover slowly and as you can afford things. It can develop over time
Thank you, Miss Vickie!
I'm glad to know you are enjoying your visits!
You have an understanding husband... love your inspiration 🎉
Yes, he is patient, kind, and tremendously helpful! Thank you for dropping by!
It just looks beautiful! I can't wait for the future mantel.
Thanks, Miss Linda!
Me either!
What a cozy room. You just want to light a fire and settle down with a good book and a cup of hot tea
Exactly! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
How very kind, Miss Susan!
It is a pleasure to have you as a "guest" in our home. Have a lovely day! 💐
Hello,
Thanks for the feedback, I love the painting too!
Beautiful. God bless
Thank you! God bless you, too!
Thank you!
It’s beautiful and I really think you achieved your goal. The patience that you showed through the process is paying off.
Thank you!
It's so cozy! Loving watching this come together. I can imagine sitting down with a cup of tea and having a nice conversation!
Yay, that's the feeling I was going for! Thank you for stopping by, Miss Beth!
Great ideas & a lovely room. Love the bookcases & the loveseat.
Thank you!
oh, I loved the green, especially with your new loveseat and the green landscape picture..Thank you so much for showing us how to decorate, your teaching me so much!
@@StoneCottageHome ❤❤❤
Welcome to the Stone Cottage Home family, Miss Joan! We're excited to have you along!
I'm swooning over the love seat and the blinds! Very well done, Mrs. Rachel! May you and your husband have many snug evenings in your new snug!
Aw, thank you Miss Suzanne! We will!
You need a pair of Staffordshire cocker spaniels for either side of the mantle.
That would look lovely!
I see your vision.. it’s all coming along very nicely.. it takes time , sometimes many years .. but you are making lovely progress.. Stay true to your vision .. it’s all looks very pretty! ❤😊
Thank you so much, I'll take that advice! I'm glad you can see the long-term perspective. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy your weekend!
It is a beautiful room! I agree with your comment about a collected room. I'm slowly remaking my little home into my style and I love the progress.
Isn't the slow process so satisfying?! It's fun to see the things you pictured falling into place, but it's also exciting when something unexpected pops up! Happy homemaking, Miss Cynthia!
The loveseat is lovely and the bookcases were much improved over the stair-stepped shelves. I enjoyed your presentation very much.
Thank you!
I love the love seat! What a find!! I, personally, loved the green book cases. Sigh... But the room is beautiful, and I love the layering.
Thank you, Miss Carol!
Well, if I change my mind again ~ it's just paint!
Hello Miss Rachel!
I love how this room came together. My living room is always a work in progress. It is an awkward room to work with. 3 doors and one large window and a corner fireplace. Oh well that is the fun of it all, right.
Thank you for sharing.
Hello, Miss Brigid!
Thank you! We are enjoying our living room refresh. Your living room configuration does sound challenging to decorate. You'll get it! Thanks for stopping by today!
