Iceman (born Robert Louis "Bobby" Drake) is a mutant who can freeze anything around him and turn his body into ice.

For those of you that don’t know,his power isn’t to “make ice” or even decrease temperature. He’s literally slowing down matter to the point that they’re frozen,it was just easiest to do with water because of its molecular structure so he just assumed that’s what his power was. When Emma Frost was in his body she said that if Bobby pushed himself to his absolute limits he could stop the flow of time in the universe
Xavier can also stop time.
Shawn Ashmore being able to freeze time huh? Sounds cool, wish we could see him do stuff like that.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not what Stan Lee was thinking when writing the comic.

I really hated how in all the movies they took him from being an omega level mutant to a human snow cone machine.

@@Cashcash08 much like Elsa from Frozen he is supposed to have the ability to control the energy state of matter on an almost unlimited level, as well as do things like increase his physical size in ice form and reform himself if shattered or melted.

He's a great character but I think he needs a development especially his origin and power. And I still hate they make Rogue just being a screaming queen.

People need to learn that he's Omega level status because he can theoretically create Absolute Zero temperature, which means he can virtually freeze "time". At that point, kinetic energy would've been too small to make anything move.

It was hype seeing Iceman slide on ice for the first time in the FOX movies in DoFP
he got a massive nerf in the movies i mean he is a omega-level mutant with likes of magneto,storm,jean grey,emma frost, etc. which is the strongest class of mutant. in the comics he is powerful asl. and so do all of the characters in the entire x men franchise. idk why but i think every marvel character like avengers and x-men is nerfed in the movies like it feels like they don't give all of their powers.

Probably because it is hard to work with op characters in the big screen since you only get like 1-2 hours of run time and need a lot of money to make that dream come true. I do personally would love to see their true power in the big screen since I never knew how powerful can they be. Hopefully MCU can fixed this

In my opinión i didn’t like how iceman was portrayed in the movies but the actor was perfect casting. I remember seeing the trailer for x2 not knowing who this guy was and seeing his icy blue eyes I was like, “I bet that’s iceman”. Honestly if they had spent time telling his story and having him develop into an omega level mutant, the movie would be like 8 hrs long. It’s impossible which sucks!

Seeing him truly using his powers in DoFP was awesome, but that isn’t enough. I really hope MCU brings Iceman into the MCU and actually utilizes him.
Would’ve been cool if Shawn Ashmore would’ve came back for DP3. And him and Pyro could’ve had a fleshed out battle.

But in the comics Iceman is slender. Not bulky like Wolverine. Idk in my opinion the actor is fit. However The writing and directing of his character in the movies sucks! If they ever bring him back the writers need to show more of his power. After all he is omega level.
