Jonahan i hear yes elvis. Elvis WITH SPIKED-Blonde hair, wit a hard rock edge, and the voice was great, all the way through, but at 6:47 best rock verse IMO anyway ever done, he broke it down nice and sweet, sincere, deep. then back to rock type yelling, loud, it was a great track and i'll always play it. never ever at all sick of BILLY IDOL eyes without a face too. few others

Saw Billy Idol twice around 2000 era. Steve Stevens was performing Eddie Van Halen-level guitar work. I couldn’t believe his acoustic prowess also. He is one of the best.

This song was inspired by a night when Billy Idol was drinking with The Rolling Stones in a New York City bar and they were drinking Rebel Yell whiskey which Billy Idol had never heard of and when he went home he wrote this song

Steve Stevens on Guitar he is amazing and is using a toy ray gun. If you look up recent concerts you can see Billy giving steve the gun and him using it on the guitar to create the sound. He has won a grammy for his music in the original theme from top gun. i got to see them again recently and he still sounds amazing!

Great Great Song! The 1980's (first half, anyway) knew no other equal in amazing music - we had so much, and didn't fully realize how many great bands and songs there were at the time - they just kept coming and coming! BTW - most of these videos are not performed live, they are studio versions that were lip-synched and instrument-synched, so they can do wild things like spin around, which couldn't be done live without affecting their playing. Also, the crazy effects in the guitar solo at 5:34 and 6:02 were actually from a toy gun. Other great songs from Billy Idol' "Eyes Without A Face", "Cradle of Love", "White Wedding".
