Eyes Without A Face was pretty awesome. It's pretty deep for a pop song. He did a song called Dancing With Myself with a band called Generation X, I liked that one too.

I saw Billy Idol, Live in Concert on September 5, 2010, in Rockford, Illinois. He was just as energetic, and very down to earth, thanking his band members first, before getting the credit.
Till this day Billy Idol is the coolest Rebell ever walked the earth.
He was the bad boy we all wanted. ❤️❤️😂😂

I love Billy Idol, he was a member of the "Punk Scene" in London and I saw him live at Hammersmith Odeon .....and I am 69 years old.....a member of the Baby Boomers :)

The punk band Idol was in was called, ironically, Generation X.
Billy is still rocking live audiences, check out his more recent live version of this classic song. Trust me, he still got it!!!!
I was 9 when this sing came out. Remember dancing around the lounge when it was on Top of The Pops (British music show). Loved him all through my childhood, teens and still do today. In fact, saw him live for first time here in UK couple of days back and yes, he still rocks. Sexy as hell and his voice is still awesome 🤘😎❤️

He IS this good in concert. I saw him in Houston just over 30 years ago and his concert rocked exactly like this. It was awesome!

Just to name a few! I love Billy Idol, I was lucky enough to see him live last year and he's even more amazing! I look forward to seeing you again! I saw him last year on Jimmy Kimmel singing his latest song "Bitter Taste" and before it had even finished, I had downloaded it. He sounds so good even forty years on, and Steve Stephens is still playing guitar with him. He also does a great version of Rebel Yell with Miley Cyrus, and it is delicious.

I can see the teenager pouring out of her eyes as she watches him. I think one good carefree night out without any worries or responsibilities is well overdue. Bar hopping and than an after party with someone who can make her scream "MORE! MORE! MORE!" like back in the 80's.

It's November, and I have still not come down from an August 26th 2022 concert high when I was on the floor seeing My Chemical Romance in Raleigh. One day young people will look back on Gen Z and say, "I wish I could have been their with your music." Music has the power to bind us all.

Well, I am a boomer (61) and I raised my kids on Billy Idol. I never outgrew rock -n- roll. Fell in love with Billy Idol when he hit MTV. No one can 'growl' like him. Closest female artist - for growling - would be Joan Jett. I always wished Idol and Jett would have done a number together back then.

Billy still tours... at least he did a few years back. I saw him in Chicago and he still rocks... and Steve Stevens is still on guitar. I made sure of that before I purchased the tickets.

My FAVORITE part is when Steve Stevens goes into that INSANE short guitar solo and when he made the guitar sound like BULLETS it ABSOLUTELY put the song over the TOP! I remember thinking how the HELL did he do that? I was SSO kick azz!🤣 BUT my FAVORITE was Eyes WITHOUT a Face!!!!

I never met Billy Idol but i claim two-degrees of separation to him.
He first emerged late 70s (in UK) with his punk band Generation X.
well u can still see him in concert, he has rescheduled all his concerts that were cancelled for covid for 2022.. miley cyrus sang this song live with billy at the iheart radio rock festival in 2016 and was crazy about him and how good a shape he was still in and could still sing.. she gave him a big hug, asked him if she could cover this song which she did and she sang a song with him on her new cd which i hear is really good, billy also has a new cd... u can find them performing this song at iheart radio festival on utube, just type billy and miley iheart radio live and it will come up

Once bought an audio book from a semi-celeb (I've since disavowed) but who gave an account of meeting Mr. Idol once... in a familiar, yet less than ideal, locale.
Semi was in "the can" at (I can't remember where/Hollywood) way back... late 80s I think. Semi was at "the wall" doing his thing.
In walks Mr. Idol, steps up to the plate next to him and "starts taking care of Idol business."
Semi looks over and recognizes him and hesitates to speak... due to the circumstances.
Semi finishes business, zips, steps back... then breaks down/relents and says... "Billy IDOL!!!"
Mr. Idol looks over his shoulder, cool, collected, one hand in control, the other on the resting on the wall and says (with the sincerest of grins)............... "Cheers Mate!"
I would concur... Mr. Idol is the genuine article. Not full of pomp. An artist, yet a human.

I found this video from a link off his new song "Cage". You don't need to go back in time, it's not too late to see him in concert. I saw him with Steve Stevens just before covid and they were great. He looks fantastic for a guy in his 60s, his voice is still great, has tons of energy and can still rock out with his shirt off. They put on a great show still. ...and definitely check out the unplugged version of this song if you haven't heard.
