Sounds and looks a lot of fun and plenty quick enough for the road. Manufacturers have lost sight of this in the pursuit of gargantuan HP which is simply impossible to use on the road. 70 or 80 on a small capacity bike is so much more fun than the same on a superbike. My one superbike is constantly asking me to unleash its huge power and anything under a ton feels like it’s just ambling along. Think this is going to be another best seller in short order and it’s easy to see why a lot of aging bikers are trading in their fast bikes for more bikes like this. Brilliant.😁
"Manufacturers have lost sight of this in the pursuit of gargantuan HP" -- Not really, each of the main manufacturers has a range of motorcycles with a range of power. If anything you could argue that RE are in pursuit of more HP given that this is almost twice the HP of the scram/himalayan 411 engine. Fun is subjective and some people enjoying wringing every last drop of power from their F1SE or thrashing a royal enfield to within an inch of it's life and some people enjoy the rush of 140bhp surging them forward - others are happy with anything between those 2 extremes. You can have fun in a 1000cc fiat 500 but I'm pretty sure most people, if given the option, would take the Ferarri
@@icedidi Interesting points you make and very relevant since we all have different wants and needs in whatever our pursuit. I know there’ll be a point when I miss the power of my superbikes, but by then hopefully my heart will have been won over by a bike nearer my days of long lost youth doing crazy stuff on two wheels! Though ultimately I believe the market is changing to less large capacity/high powered bikes though we haven’t perhaps seen that niche peak yet. When more people realise smaller to mid capacity bikes with modest HP can be huge fun too, then there maybe a more marked change in the long term sales figures for the different category bikes. Whatever happens adventure bikes sales are growing at an impressive rate and are here to stay.
I have been testing today a Suzuki GSX 8 S and a Kawasaki Z 900. I had a lot of fun. I have been looking for a girlfriend on TH-cam, for my Continental GT. I tested also the SG and that bike keeps haunting me 👻. The Kawa and the Suz were fabulous, just like in the 80’s, fun, kicks… But also constantly watching for your speed, cameras… It was fun, but the days of those bikes are in the past. When I got back on my GT, I was surprised how fun this bike is, even after 3 years and after the Japanese roller coaster. Just listen to the engin en ride on, without gazing at your clocks. The advantage of lower powered bikes in modern times. I cannot wait until I get my hands on a Guerrilla roller coaster. Love those twisties 😂
Now two more motorcycle left in this engine 1) scram 450 2) continental GT r 450 Then few 650 classic , 650 bullet and himi 650 Then RE try there new 750 and (250 bikes for India ) They also build new company for EV bike ... we will see there Ev in 2027
Damn lunatics... What a way to ride, I personally ride in a smoother and more relaxed manner. I am a Spanish subscriber, and yes, Spain truly is a paradise for road motorcycles.
Your mission Stu, should you choose to accept it, is to 'tailgate' those two guys on your Interceptor.......at night!!! 😁 This looks more like Isle of Man TT footage, lol, you certainly wouldn't want to be going much faster on those roads!!!! What a nimble great sounding machine. Watch out Triumph!!
Morning uncle Stu well I must say you rode that more spiritedly then on your own bikes😮 “ ride it like you stole it” eh 😂 nice sounding bike though and well ridden😝 which part of East Yorkshire was that 🤪carry on that man Caio for now tat ta
On todays ride these two would have left us biting dust. Me and my riding buddy took some similar roads today, he on his big HD and me on my Vulcan. We rode at a good pace but not like that. Under powered my foot!
It seems that the engine is very "sparkling" and pleasant. But aesthetically... the Guerilla... hum. 🤨 The more classic lines models are much more successful, appealing, attractive. Nice "pure engine sound " video 👍
Well hes a very naughty boy riding it but that does demonstrate the willingness of that lump and it seems to have decent engine braking as well methinks if you can get enough out of that to have a bit of fun then you need to be on a track 👍
Not as pretty as the Classic 350 Reborn imho, but obviously for a different buyer, and the Guerrillas are certainly nimble! Have to say, for what is a country road linking villages quite near to Barcelona, the quality of the road surface of the BV-2411 (windy bits) is excellent and the white lines in great shape.
While I do like to give it some beans at times and these 450's certainly are up to it, I'm less enthusiastic about the riding style presented in this video. Not the prettiest RE in my opinion, but that wouldn't mean I could not have fun on them - I have come to appreciate the lower capacity engines a lot more!
Wouldn't like to buy any of those two bikes after that flogging. Great sound tho, those guys could handle a bike, that kind of riding Is past for me. Well done Stu
Hi Stu, I much prefer to watch you riding than these guys. You are in control and placing the bike in the correct position on the road. Bike sounds good though, maybe one for the channel. You can get rid of some Triumphs to make place.😄
Crossing the filter area at 1.51 would have been instant fine..The Guardia Civil are very hot on such riding, and believe me Guardia Traffico Riders ain't no slouches either... Speaking as a Biker who rides Spanish roads l believe these two were riding over the 'edge' There were plenty of 'what if' moments. That kind of riding is best left to a Race track.
Ah! the sound of the engine, no commentary, definitely no Rock Music. A complaint very often levelled at air show videos, listening to a snarling Merlin V-12 , or the raucous growl of a yank radial is part of the experience.....Just wonder what it will be like if/when electric bikes take over....Perhaps a taped sound track of the banshee howl of a Honda RC166 or the sound of a Manx Norton at full 'chat'.will be an optional extra to be retro fitted..... These two riders obviously 'knew the road', however, l think such riding should be left to a race track not on public roads..... The Guardia Civil take a pretty dim view at such riding...
In my personal opinion RE either did not prioritize the sound of the 450 engine in the development, or went to this a bit characterless, less offensive sound on purpose. We don’t hear anything remotely comparable to the character of the 350, 650 or even the 411. I mean - it does not sound bad, but particularly interesting either.
Uffz...had to unclench my buttocks after this 😅 I used to ride my bike every day, throughout the year back in the days, but i never was a fast rider, never seeking thrill...maybe im just a too relaxed character for that kind of stuff 🙃 But thank you nevertheless for this video, the sound is quite nice on that new Guerilla 450 indeed. Although purely from the looks, the exhaust on this and the new Himalayan is kind of scooter-ish 😑
Was wondering the same thing- I have a Royal Enfield and not sure I dare lean like that on Ceats - although I changed to Metzler Tourance and it makes a huge difference in handling - my other bikes have Bridgestones or Metzler or TKC 80s - all good tyres - Ceat? 🤔
Some less-than-safe riding from the yellow bike: overtaking a car using a left filter lane. And the notion of a 'dog fight' shown on TH-cam whilst on a press launch isn't a particularly good idea either. Remember: it's a public road.
Loved the sounds of the engines, thanks for this. Were you one of the riders? I don’t think so because you don’t usually totally disregard the speed limits or lean all over the centre lines. Sorry to be negative but someone has to say it. This is the first of your vids I haven’t been able to watch to the end. Keep them coming.
small (slow) bike fast is better than big (fast) bike slow, that said there is some strange riding in this video - unusual body language , line choice and so on
While hearing engine noise was good, I personally like to hear you and see normal riding. This riding should be done on the track with track conditions. 👎👎 Not often do I make bad comments and I am probably in the minority since I read other people's comments first. Will be 71 next Friday and riding with better judgment.
So if I buy a Guerilla, the road rules and safe riding don't apply to me.......sweeeetttt Every video I have seen of this bike has seemed to demonstrate poor riding behaviour, I'm somewhat surprised at a manufacturer promoting like this.
Not able to ride any more so thank you for keeping the dream alive
Ditto.
Great road, nice weather and not a single pothole…. awesome 👍
This is the sound we tried to make as kids with our mouths
I used to jam a lollypop stick into the spokes to make my engine noise….
😂

Good morning Stu. Nice to hear an engine. The second half of the video with all the wind noise is what I normally hear. Have a great weekend.
Great video. I have the Himalayan 450. Now I want the Guerilla as well.
This is amazing 🔥 thanks for the video, I’m loving the new RE
Outstanding! RE has a winner on its hands!
Watching uncle Stu video and complaining that he is talking.. That is the yt chat in a nutshell
I thought I was watching the isle of man tt. 😂
Bumbell Bee has gone rogue. Great road 😂
In my mind, the acoustic soundtrack is always that of my Suzuki two-stroke triples! Nothing like it! (I can hear it now!)
Enjoyed this esp. when the second bike appears giving a bit of reference thanks as always 👏🏻👏🏻
Looks like they were having fun.
Looks like you were giving it the beans their Stuart! In any case the bike seemed to handle it very well, I am quite impressed...👍
Excellent video Mr. Stuart.
…just as I was thinking I’d never ride like that, someone goes & overtakes! 😂
Thanks a lot, Stuart. This is just so much fun!
wow u r the only one riding the new guerilla 450, kudos
Glorious sounds.
Looks like the riders are having a blast
Wow! Thank you for this.
It shows that it’s just as much fun to ride a low powered bike hard compared to more powerful bikes.
Now two more motorcycle left in this engine 1) scram 450 2) continental GT r 450

Bravo RE !!

Will see🤔Kinda what I wanted from day one but now totally love the SM650. So I'll wait to see if they do a Meteor version.
This design is cool 😮
I thinking of making a step from Meteor 350 on Guerilla 450
Very good Stu , see you giving it a bit of Welly Mate 😂😂, sounds like you enjoyed that 👍 letting your hair down 😅😊
@ 9:40 that says it all . killed it with the looks.
How would that compare to your classic 500
This bike is more of a modern BSA Gold Star than that new BSA Gold Star
Sounds OK for a single. I used to have a KTM 390, sounded like a fishing boat and that's the reason I got rid of it
Amazing,, faster than I will ever ride these days lol😅
WHEEEEEEEEEEE!😍
Understand the market they are aimed at, but sorry buzz boxes do zip for me compared to a good low reving thumper single or twin
Good Morning Stu, was that you I spotted at Longleat Centreparcs with your family at the weekend?🤔
no, not me! i dont have time for holidays!
White blue combination looks good
Awesome bike!
It seems that the engine is very "sparkling" and pleasant. But aesthetically... the Guerilla... hum. 🤨

Why headlight is ON always? Why dont they provide switch to turn off headlight and DRL on during day time?
EU law. it affects everyone!

You need a single cylinder and simple but good lookinh bike to have fun on weekends and that too pocket friendly and without worry.❤
Presumably, there's no extradition treaty with the country where that rider's from! 😮
The rooster tail back fender(mud gaurd) is unsightly
Hi Stu, I much prefer to watch you riding than these guys. You are in control and placing the bike in the correct position on the road. Bike sounds good though, maybe one for the channel. You can get rid of some Triumphs to make place.😄
yes i have to admit, they were clearly not hired for their skill and competance!
The roads look great. Not like the rough old things here on Corfu
What's the top speed u got n how did it do for the 0 to 100
EXCELLENT .
UK registered?
Should i buy used classic 500 or go for New classic 350 Reborn?
Test ride both n decide
Own space! Literally riding bikes a long way away!
Sort of reminds me of the vids that "Fast Bikes" magazine were putting out about 25 years ago. Crazy bastards.
Looked well balanced but it was a bit disconcerting to see someone ride on the wrong side 😂

Considering you didn’t know the road Stuart I thought you did very well 😗
Hows the reliability of the Enfields ?
far better than Triumph.
Royal Enfield are making some very nice bikes, this one looks great, nice video Stuart.
Stuart dragging a knee yayeee!
How mch is da top speed
Wouldn’t want to buy that ex demo🤣

Moto journalist or better known as hooligans! ;-)
is this running in MPH?
no i dont think so
Looks to me like it may have been speeded up slightly.
Km/h. Not possible to run over 100 miles/h in such roads with a 450 cc (luckily)
@@Harpy-Mark-Tomlinson Just the Fish-eye lense I reckon.
40 HP and 40 N-m on a sub-200kg bike puts you in the Goldilocks zone.
Feels like RE’s version of a KTM Duke390
Our protagonist seems to be using the gears far too much !! Also. I assume that the speedo reading was in kph not mph.
Oh yes.

yes

I'm scared watching.....sometimes I'm glad I can't ride that fast!

Yeah theres definately been an element of bad judgement on this release!
Wow, how to make a shoddy mess of 'furious' riding. Too much strong 'coffee' & too little skill? : )
Quite right, there's some very dubious overtakes here.
Seems completely irresponsible to me!
Irresponsible riding. Especially at 1:50
Couldn't be arsed to watch anymore.
Was fun riding - fish eye makes the speed seem faster - in KPH
I quite agree, there's no excuse for overtaking there.
