Absolutely agree with the rating. This is my favorite amusement park and Twister is my favorite wooden coaster.
Nothing quite like Knoebels
We are 40+ men who still ride roller coasters every summer (gotta keep the body ready for it) - and we went to Knoebels for the first time this year on our way to Hershey for the first time since 2015. That airtime on Phoenix was INSANE. I was STANDING for most of the ride, and I LOVED it. Can't wait to take my nephews there when they're ready to ride some rides.
Ill just add some stuff here since I'm like always over there :)
Flying Turns: I suggest you either get this first in the morning or wait till about 45 minutes till the park closes because that's when the lines shortest! Don't want too long though because the line closes early. It was closed a lot for the past 2 years because of short staffing but now its mostly just closed for small stuff like trains stopping short, stuff in the track, or speed issues. Also the heaviest group goes in the front so if you want a certain seat try to plan that out. Also the signs in line I don't think are right based on time when they're running 3 trains
Phoenix: 3rd rows best for this one that's really it, full line up to the ticket box on one train is around 30 minutes if that's helpful
Twister: Put the empty restraint next to you down to save the ride ops some work its helpful and gets you a faster dispatch
Looper: A lot of people don't know how to use this one and its not open right now due to short staffing but here's just a little tutorial: Heaviest on the right start rocking as soon as you can, when the op says you can and the person on the right is close to ground going down hit the foot pedal which will spin you, idk if it helps but I like letting go when I start going down when im on the right cause I feel like it spins me faster then hitting it again at the bottom to spin me again.
Also don't do anything weird on black diamond or flying turns they can always see you lol

The Flyers are honestly so awesome. Flying into trees is a genuinely frightening experience. It might actually be my favorite ride in the park.

Love Knoebels!! I've been going there since I was a baby circa 1985! This park is a family tradition. We visit multiple times a year, including Halloween and Christmas! My mother and grandfather's company picnics were always held here. It was the best day of summer vacation when I was young. Now I take my little one and she loves it just as much!
The Flyers was the first ride I rode with my Uncle Rich when I was 10 in "73" . It was always my favorite ride .
Knoebels late fall, Phoenix marathon in the moonlight. Cold and misty sky ride up and down the mountain. And all the rest. Unforgettable bliss. One of my very favorite park experiences.
Currently camping at Knoebels
i grew up going here every summer! i rode whirlwind before they built flying turns, and was there for every agonizing year of that construction 😂 Twister will always be my favorite, but Impulse was a perfect addition
My family and I go to Knoebels quite often through the year. Ever since I was kid we go camping every summer
Great review! I live about an hour and a half away and you cannot beat the price, the atmosphere and the rides. The only issue is it can flood if we get lots of rain!
Another pro of Knoebels that I forgot to mention is that they will not close the park or their attractions due to rain (with maybe a few exceptions). In 2020, we were caught in a tropical storm during a roadtrip and Knoebels was the only park within ≈300 miles that remained open, with all of their rides operating. absolutely awesome stuff!
I've been to Knoebels about 6 times, which is the second most times I've been to an amusement park. This park is amazing, the atmosphere is the best I've experienced and Phoenix is one of a few roller coasters that actually feels dangerous.
Side note, Kozmo's Kurves is the only kiddie coaster I've ever ridden with genuine ejector airtime (at least in the back seat.)
There's a reason for that.
The original kiddie coaster, High Speed Thrill Coaster ran from 1955 to 2008 and developed a popular following from adults for its ejector airtime. Kozmo's Kurves was designed to honor the all ages appeal High Speed Thrill Coaster had garnered as well as add new elements.
I ve never been to knoebles but this look gorgeous!
I am always amazed that the Flyers are a real ride.
Sometimes I get yelled at for snapping....but other times staff has literally congratulated me lol.
Also, the Bumper Cars at this place are the best. I've got plenty of airtime on them lol. They beat you up.
It's my favorite park for so many reasons.
I’m somewhat local to knobels and on the flying turns you can actually hit the branches on the trees if you time it right
whats really awesome about this park is that people with motion sickness can actually ride stuff. My dad really sturggles to ride larger coasters because he gets sick, and on theme park trips, it pains me when he sits out on something he really wants to go on.
Why are Knoebels’ rides different in that sense? I’ve been trying to figure out your comment.

👍Phun Phact: In 1985 Phoenix cost $1.00 to ride so that means it went up a whopping 8 or 9 cents a year😲. The up cost for Knoebels Haunted Mansion is mainly due to people acting like juvenile delinquents who with an all-day pass were re-riding and destroying many of the props once they learned where they were 😡. I fully agree with your review, I just wished you would have warned potential first-time visitors that they most likely will regret making Knoebels a half day or less when visiting. There are way too many unique & must do rides there and getting plenty of re-rides on Twister and Phoenix is the best way to decide how good they really are.
I thought it’d be a given that Knoebels requires a full day. this is one of my favorite parks anywhere and I think spending any less time here is asking to miss out on things.

ive never been to knoebles but it looks amazing, looper reminds me of rok n roll at sandspit, one of my home parks (I call it home park but its one of the only ones in a 5 hour radius) and honestly it was my favourite ride till It was taken out due to an accident
I only recently was able to visit this place for the first time. It was like if the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was transported from the beach to the woods. It's a really fun old timey place. I was constantly amused by all of the people walking their dogs.
6:07 My understanding is that the rule for Haunted Mansion being an upcharge with the wristband was done in response to some vandalism incidents, although I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it's not owned by a different operator, unless you have a reliable source for that detaill.
I've been to Knoebels twice this year during the Summer. A friend of mine and I went close to summer and it was the first time in almost 10yrs since I've been to one and we rode Twister first and that was amazing. it was smooth and not too rough then we rode Phoenix and that one isn't bad but I'm kinda broad and the seats never fit right on there. Impulse is my 2nd all-time favorite ride in the park cause it kinda reminds me of Fahrenheit a just by the chainlift and the drop but it's really fun. It looks intense but it's slow and not too fast. Stratosfear I hate that ride and would never go on it again. The food is pretty good, their breakfast isn't bad for the price either that was the 2nd time we went was when we camping back in August.

We live 3 hours away in western PA but spent Halloween at Knoebels last year. Also went in the summer. It is no lie my family's fave park (and we are Cedar Fair pass holders who hit CP 8 times last year 🙂). After being in the dangerous mayhem of a legit near crowd crush at the entrance of Blood on the Bayou and Frontier Trail last weekend at Cedar Point, I sighed at this vid wishing we had gone to Knoebels again this year for Halloween 😑.

I personally prefer Phoenix over Voyage and Skyrush. No, I’m not kidding.
We used to go alot when my son was younger ( he's 20 now) and it's a great park for all ages, more so for the youngsters. We used to camp near by with the boy scouts as well over the years. Everyone has fun. In my 50's now, my husband is not a park person ( we live about 1/2 hr away from Dorney Park. I would go to DP for the coasters, but over all prefer Knoebels.
Yeah, id definitely take Knoebels over Dorney. Hersheypark is the place to be for coaster lovers though 🙌🏻

I agree. We haven't been to the park in along time since my son was younger but been to the concert stadiums more often as a family. Seen great concerts outdoors and indoors. But I do miss the coasters. I'm the only one who rides them, so with everyone waiting for me...I don't go on many...but when I do...I try to enjoy them several times in a row. I still love Steel Force at Dorney.

I really like KNOEBELS. I know the rides are inspected regularly for safety. Have an event for your group? great people to work with. Our PATRIOT group is having our picnic there. You can't go wrong spending a day there. Great entertainment too.
