I'm 67 yo, and I am amazed that I like videos of farming. Guess it started with "Nate the Hoof Guy". Even tho' I believe I would love this kind of work, being outdoors, I am a polio baby and now retired and stuck in a wheelchair. So I watch these videos. 😏☺️🤭

Am happy no one was hurt in the accident. Was with my dad and uncle going from Cheyenne Wy up north and we hit a dear. Will never forget it. Totaled the car. Thank God no one was hurt. Lol. Recently went up to Sacramento, Ca. Keep getting lost but really just driving around trying to see the deer the signs said to watch for. Did not see a one. Probably for the best. Sad to hear you lost the calf and the cow too. Praying you continue to make good vedios. God bless

Mike and Erin. Glad the accident only damaged the vehicle and no real physical damage to Erin and Bean. Watching from Louisiana. Travel through Wyoming most every year in June/July time frame going to Washington State to visit son and wife and Granddaughter. Born and raised on dairy farm in Indiana so know the trials you go through trying to keep all alive. Yes, if you have livestock you will sometimes have dead stock. God Bless.

The amount of work he takes off your plate must be so helpful...you’re still overworked but maybe not as bad. I had to laugh when he said he hibernated in his trailer during the last storm 🤣😂 smart man. All I can say is GOD BLESS your compassion for your Animals. I have watched many different Farmers and Ranchers and they have to make the best decisions for their Animals. I get it and You ALL show great Compassion for your Animals.
We have totaled two vehicles with deer hits. That is a lot of meat, wow. I so was hoping there was a fix for the calf, that was sad. I never realized that Gator had a 3 cyl. in it. Jeff did great with the control of the camera with him feeding cakes and telling his story. Good for you Jeff :) Moving cattle can be challenging sometimes. Mike I was watching the video of you visiting Gilbert's grave and I realized that Gilbert passed away exactly one year after my wife passed away. Brought tears to my eyes
I'm too am glad that Erin is a-okay from the accident! Those seat belts and air bags can really hurt when they get activated. I knew a man that was bruised for days from the same type of accident, hitting a deer. The calf issue is a sensitive one, but it can be dealt with in as compassionate way as possible, as you did, never easy, but necessary to do! On a lighter note, Jeff is such a nice guy and a real help to you, your wife and Our Wyoming Life ranch. Thanks Mike, for another great video!

That was a very entertaining video and informative. I too could not watch the last video when i was younger i worked at a home grocery delivery business, they had most things things you would find in a grocery store and also sold meat packages, they also did their own processing of hogs and cows and the office i worked at i had to walk through the processing plant to get to my office work area. So i got to see what goes behind the scenes and what is involved in processing the cows and hogs, not something i want to share, but we all have to eat. Thanks for taking the time to share your every day on the ranch with us !!

Albeit, in regard to the calf issue, I, personally feel that you did a VERY good job of communication, visualizing, trigger warning and most of all, revealing what a VERY hard part of your job is and how it affected you. You did a good job of explaining the whole situation, and the further explanation in this vlog explained it further, even better, for those that don't understand the whole situation. Being familiar with farming, I feel your emotion on it, and it showed.
Living in northern colorado we all know that W in Wyoming stands for Wind😀😀. When you put other types of weather in to play, as snow, rain, sleet and freezing cold, it is not good for a person to be out in bad weather if the wind is blowing in Wyoming. No fun at all. I have had to cover my face to walk into the wind in bad weather in Wyoming. Wednesday was a tough video but it was needed to be done show the real life of a rancher. There is Good and bad in ranching. I have seen a calf get put down for a snake bit (Rattlesnake). Good Video and please keep it up Sir.

Farmers & ranchers do what they have to do. My heart goes out to you and your family as you deal with sometimes unkind comments. It is apparent to me that y’all care about your animals, and I absolutely loved goat time and how you used it to for self-care to help you heal from the pain of losing the injured calf.
