Of all the mod’s I did to my last project car, except for the engine the CAE shifter was what gave me the most driving pleasure! Not cheap, but hella worth it!
For my bachelor's thesis i did the design of a front suspension of a "sports car", seeing the front lower control arms makes me wonder how the spherical joint assembly would hold up during,lets say driving over an obstacle.This is Porsche so im sure everything is fine and i am surprised of seeing this approach as i really did not think of this, it could have saved me a lot of time back then lol, thank you for the video Misha!

Good job! Suprised that 993 has this front trailing arms, maybe because its Carrera. Turbo has same as your new design and even 964 turbo has it. Also you can install air cooling flare on arm, will you? It will keep your brakes more efficient. Love CAE shifter, ideal height of shift lever, but for me going with new Numeric ss setup to keep interior with stock look. PS. Pancake is awesome)))

I do believe the trailing arm/a-arm you are referring to is for the rear axle. How did they handle the kinematic toe with this "new" alignment equipment?
@@mgcharoudin I was just wondering how they deal with the kinematic toe which is pretty special for 993. I don't think the new high tech wheel alignment can measure this. But I guess they have full control. After all it all started with 993.
Looked like they were working on corner weighting rather than alignment? My dogs like to chew and we get a toy called a nylabone. Bulldogs are chewers but not of shoes.

Looks like you were holding a rear arm and comparing to what looks like a fairly standard front arm with no doubt upgraded bushings.
