I think it's actually perfect that he legit scared children. That was the point. Voldemort was meant to be an introduction to fear to younger people. Him and the Dementors. So him having an actual affect on people only makes it bettef.
I think the funniest thing is that he is a voice actor for the movie Lego Batman and Voldemort IS in the movie, but he doesn’t voice him. He voices Alfred
I remember watching those films and utterly hating the character of Dolores umbridge, later I realised that Imelda Staunton would most likely be thrilled to hear it, because she managed to play the character so well that I believed it
I hated/hate her so much I fast forward past her when she starts teaching at Hogwarts. After that, anytime she comes on screen, I take MY magic wand and make her disappear. 😠
Watching the series again recently. While the first 3 feel close to kids films. It quickly turns into a dark war film with two opposing groups. There's a bloody shootout in a restaurant 😅
Got to be honest. Big fan of the books and films as a kid, I tried getting back into them recently. I can’t. I don’t really know why and it’s a bit of a shame really, but maybe the coin will flip again sooner or later. However, the two things that have consistently impressed me over the years including that recent attempt to reintroduce myself to the series: Alan Rickman and Ralph Fiennes. Absolutely unbelievable. Couldn’t imagine any one else playing Snape and Voldemort.
For someone from an earlier generation (just) I find it odd how so many people are so ingrained into the Potter thing that they are reminiscing about it so soon and in a way as if it’s a golden period of recent film history. I mean I’ve seen them if not all but man is that the level that we’ve stooped to?
I would watching these growing up since the age of 3 and I was scared of Voldmort but I also found his lack of nose funny so I would use a blanket with holes and I would cover my head when he would appear on screen but would look through the holes and giggle ar how silly I thought he looked
I've just realized that Voldemort was played by a human too lmao and I never even thought of it. Crazy how some things can live in your head invalidated
"I remember in the first film, I had to, put my finger into Daniel-"
😈
Don't blame him honestly. Radcliffe hits different.

The fact that he can just call up Voldemort's voice out of nowhere, years later is freaking terrifying and amazing. 😁

The red dragon himself lol
Underrated movie and underrated comment 👌
Wonderfull movie
GREAT movie & book 👌🏻
Not to forget the menu
He’s so generous. SO many actors won’t do that kind of casual reprisal to that level. Love him
Ralph is such a great actor. I love his roles in the kingsman and Budapest hotel
Do you love him even though he is in Epstein’s little black book and had been to Epstein’s island and on his Lolita plane? Yeah what a great person!
@@Susiecat24 him too? what a disappointment

i adore how Ralph explained everything’s funny in a serious way and not even smirking a bit, but everything still sounds funny. 😂
Legendary actor! Underrated!!!
“You’re an inanimate fucking object!!!”
Every time I see Ralph Fiennes in the movie I know for sure I'm gonna watch an amazing acting now. He's always doing his job incredibly good
I can touch you now coming from a creepy looking guy saying that to a young boy…never realized how truly creepy that was until just now lol

Aw Jackie! Don’t cry. He’s got no horcruxes left!
He didn't have to be too scary
He had to be scary enough for children, and that whispered voice, tongue out, cold stare did the job
Not everyone can say to a kid in a sinister voice "I can touch you now" and get away with it.
makeup artist stand in the background "fist pump" NAILED IT
Ooh that whisper is something else!

Woah! That's jack, the comedian screaming about almond milk!
STOP MILKING SHIT
Did he actually see Voldemort in person when he was a kid?
I remember my first movie I saw him in and fell in love The English Patient.
Rafe Fiennes.
Always excellence in what ever he does.
Saved it. The man saved it perfectly Twice
He is such an amazing actor. So many epic roles. My favorite underdog role of his is In Bruges.
"partly designed for children"
Cedric's corpse: I'm not even here.
One of my all time fav actors.
That little boy is here today Jack.
Tbh I personally feel that his best work till date is Schindler’s list. His acting in that movie was just phenomenal!!
Love ralph for loving his character 😍
This man scared me as a child, Dementors and Voldemort were the dark shadows of my room and my nightmares.
Red Dragon, yo!
Jeez! When he said "I can touch you now" you really had the reminder that he is actually Voldemort. 😬
One of my favourites along with Chris Waltz
OMG JACK WHITEHALL WAS THE LITTLE BOY WHO CRIED LMAO LOVE HIM
He’s been to a certain PDF Files island....
When I was a kid he scared me as Voldemort, when I became an adult he scared me with his role in Schindler's List.
Absolutely amazing actor! Also loved him as M!
Omg, Voldemort has a NOSE!😱
Ralph Phiennes' portrayal of Voldemort is one of the most underrated performances of film industry IMO.
Its the eyes the countenance and the unyielding deliberativeness.
i love this man...amazing actor
Voldemort is the most interesting character in HP
Does his wife call's his name and he just appears 🤣
Nobody could have portrayed Voldemort to the level that he did. Truly phenomenal
Voldemort from the goblet of fir was my first nightmare where I couldn't sleep after
He scared that heffalump with a salad
I love the camera cut at as scary as it could be
I remember hearing that line in the movie and I was like "... uhhhmm... that's a bit..." 😂
i love how jack was just there. perfect Lmaoooo
I keep seeing Jack Whitehall everywhere and I absolutely love it
Lizzo screaming JC is exactly what I would've said if he did that next to me 🤣🤣
"that's awful..."
"FANTASTIC!"
Nothing is as powerful and romantic as its role in the English patient. Ralph is a giant!
he is fabulous

An amazing actor and very underestimated in my opinion
I like at the end; he starts wiping at his nose, like schindlers list. “I’ve got a fucking cold”
How have I never seen voldemort without makeup until now
Her laugh scares me more than him. I was looking away from the video and I heard that and jumped 😂
God, can you imagine, Michael Whitehall as SS of a Harry Potter film? Jesus that would be fun
Best Marjorie Taylor Greene impression I've ever seen
GOAT
I love when it cuts the camera to Jabba the Hutt laughing it's roar 😂

Gives off 'Helena Bonham Carter scaring her son's friends by pulling out her wand'
I watched Red Dragon when I was young and I’m still surprised when I see him without that harelip. It’s crazy what makeup and prosthetics can do!
Surely a producer somewhere must be thinking about a RISING DAMP reboot.
He really has a kind docile and agreeable face, unlike his brother who always look sus. But he scares me in films.
He was so good in Schindler's List

“Um actually- the line is ‘NOW, I can touch you” - Brenan Lee Mulligan voice
He looks almost exactly like the leader of the daycare I used to work at...
…wow. I like this man more than ever now.
In Schindlers list he was so convincing that he scared one of the survivors of the holocaust, who was on the set and was in the camp
WAIT ARE YOU TELLING ME JACKS DAD WAS THE SCRIPT SUPERVISOR???? THE GUY IS HILARIOUS
It's funny how all those serious, gritty dramas Ralph did in the 80's and 90's are forgotten now. He's just Voldemort 😂
And The Red Dragon.
