Loved this interview! So amazing seeing artists actually put thought into their answers and share their genuine opinions and feelings rather then the curated answers pre-crafted by a PR team prior to the interview. Artists in the West are often such enterprises and so highly managed by big teams in the background you rarely get a sense of who they genuinely are. I love that these girls whole image is based on just being themselves without that highly curated idol presentation. AG! is awesome!
These girls are veterans already. No wonder they look so good on stage and know exactly what to say. Looking forward for what's to come and hope I can see them live someday
Great interview. Koi Geba is one of my favorites by AG! I'm happy to hear that this is their first recommendation for international audiences, since it's a song that relates to their music culture.
I knew Koi Bumi had anime influences. It has a lot of the common elements that a good anime theme song usually has and now I know I wasn't crazy for thinking it was like that on purpose.
Really enjoyed this! I think this is the first time I’ve seen a video of them being interviewed by someone speaking English (with a translator). Really interesting questions and answers!
I love these ladies as individuals and as a group ..they are amazing artists and performers. such pros, that clearly have love and respect for each other they understand and appreciate what each member uniquely bring to the table.. they are a perfect team .. beautiful kaotic dancing angels.. my favorite video of theirs is "night of the exam" single take video.. made me a forever fan..❤🤘
Their name means “new school” in japanese! I think it is an interplay between old and new styles of jpop, i wish they had asked about the story or coming about of their band name
@@hoooyea163 i mean like storytelling interpretive dance and stuff like that. It could be interesting for them to do an entire album that tells a long story and performance art to go with it in live shows. It would be a mix of concert and show. Different outfits, backdrops, lighting effects to tell the story of each song and each song being almost a scene or chapter in an ongoing story. I think that would be pretty cool to do sometime.. Plus they could even do animation segments like the Gorillaz between sets, costume changes etc.
As an ESL teacher, I recommend you dull your accent and word choice a little when interviewing people who speak English as a second or foreign language. I know you had a translator, but the girls were definitely attentive and listening to your questions first. Great interview and good questions.
Hi! Thanks for recommendation, however I have a natural accent that comes from my regional location and Spanish as well and this was me trying fight both those elements. If you have any recommendations on ways to learn it further that would be great
@@ButWhyThoPC Saying “y’all” is just unprofessional. You understand that perfectly well. You literally used the word in every question and it sounded ridiculous. It’s becoming a rare thing to see a journalist act in a professional manner nowadays and it’s easy to see who has respect for their profession and also shows respect to the people they are interviewing.
@@mozartfx1 This is the funniest response. There isn't anything unprofessional about y'all, and since we hung out with the women after this point, we can also promise no one thought there was a lack of respect anywhere. Thank you for the free interaction for the algorithm though :)
They seemed to take turns answering the questions with ease. I love that. Nobody hogging the attention.
That’s why they’re called atarashii gakko no leaders.

10:30 恋文! 一番好き
4人それぞれの世界観が、4人がそろった時に新しい世界を生み出す。凄い言葉ですね。😊

They are so cool. I love their attitude and answers. Thanks for taking the time with AG!
In most interviews I’ve seen they act so unhinged, so it was refreshing to see them act “out of character” here lol :)
Suzuka bored AFFFF though
Estoy de acuerdo con usted.
この時期のSUZUKAの髪型めっちゃ好き

“Y’all” is in every question and “so” starts off every answer.
nice long form interview! great translator too!
Thank you for sharing this!!

Rin noticed and laughs then kanon noticed rin laughing and laughs then mizyu notices kanon and laughs 🤣
Kanon ❤️
they seem like quite the interesting group live. A lot of old school performance art going on in their shows.

This translator is a real cutie, must be half Japanese, he speaks so well
At least 50% Japanese
Anyone can achieve this fluency with enough practice and living in Japan for years. He could’ve been doing both for over 10 years.
Very handsome, confirm long boi, not chonk.
The translator really did help get the interview across wonderfully.
Why do I find myself wishing the translator took off his mask so I could see how sempai he is…
真剣に聞いてるmizyuがかわいい
Thanks!!
really cool

Ohhhhh coooll
You may laugh, but face of Suzuka reminds me face of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter).😀😀😀
Not my suzuka making face and playing with the table cloth 🤪😜
I love the translator lmao he's a mood 😂
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Epic

It looked like the “y’alls” threw them off. I wouldn’t fret about anything though. Your questions were great and it was a fun interview!

Japanese culture today is basically 90s u.s mixed with Japanese aesthetic. Which is definitely a good thing.
