i'm pretty sure in past interview they read already translated text. don't get me wrong. i love all AG members. but it is better people not exaggerate thing. i agree they are learning now, but learning foreign language (especially english) is very hard for japanese people due to japanese language limited sounds and different structure (for example, they put verbs in end of sentence, instead of 2nd like english). so they are still far from capable to translate by their own now. maybe in future? yes. 😊

They may not be able to form full sentences back but I think they're decent at listening and receiving information. I remember one interview where Suzuka had to look at Kanon and get her to translate and Kanon knew exactly what the interviewer was trying to ask.

Good job by all involved as interviews that need some translation are often a disaster. Both the interviewer and AG! were engaged. Now let's hope for a few actual performance reviews rather than backstory pieces.
