KX1800 Black and Decker Heatgun Repair

Follow the below steps and replace heating element of KX1800 Black and Decker Heatgun.
1) Remove screws from the Clamshell
2) Remove Hook (1004516-17) part
3) Separate Heating Element Set and Motor set from the Clamshell
4) Cut the wires attached to Heating Element.
5) Remove Old Heating Element from Tube or Cover ( 1004516-09) part
6) Insert Original new Heating Element of KX1800-B1 in tube. Press it slightly to fix it in tube
7) Peel the upper part of Heating Element ( blue colour) wire along with Switch and Motor Wire ( White and Red)
8) Insert small sleeves in Heating Element Wires. Join the wires according to its specific colours ( White with White / Red with Red) After joining the wires slide the sleeve in attachments of wire
9) Place the motor and Heating Element assembly in Clamshell carefully. Make sure wires are properly placed inside the Clamshell.
10) Fix the screws in the Clamshell
You have successfully replaced Heating Element of KX1800-B1 HeatGun
