The IP scanner is cool. Don't forget to add hyperlinks in the description or pinned comments. Makes these evergreen vids that much more valuable (reduce risks of search vector attacks).
I have multiple Lorex cameras as my Lorex nvr died. Would I be able to somehow use Lorex cams if I buy blue iris and set it up on a separate PC, what equipment do I need to make this work?
I don't use sub stream because sometimes, specially at night, things happen on my property that not always gets detected or trigger my cameras. So I like to manually go back to the full video to see what happened. If using substream, all that recorded video will be in low quality and pretty much useless. Only the triggered motion alert videos will be in HD, the rest will not which is intended to save cpu and size.
You make a valid point. If you have the CPU headroom to be able to use full resolution all the time, then that makes sense. Depends on the situation. Thanks for watching!
Hi Maybe you know,... certainly you know more about this software...why are thereno updates on blue irish software any more... like the last i see on their website is in 2021
They have regular updates. There have been a few this month. Likely your support has expired. When your support expires, you stop getting updates. If you go into the app, click settings, you should see your support status. It's around $30 per year to keep getting updates.
9 hours later, following this video and 20 others, including setting up zerotier....still not working. Guess I will just stick with the Wansview app and sd cards since I'm not paying for a monthly subscription.
Please recommend me a youtube channel about Blue Iris for the limited and stupid. So I can understand everything... Your channel is arrogant and full of superiority. To the next level. Please, where can I find out how to get it?

Can an EZVIZ camera be installed in Blue iris, but the camera is not in LAN? .
Can you also add wifi cameras like the Eufy IP-camera?
Get rid of Eufy cameras. You're defeating the whole purpose of using Blue Iris with that spyware.
Nice video. Can you explain how config wi-fi camera. Thanks
Good suggestion! Thanks for watching.
You should teach how to add a second camera because once one cam is running, yu can't right click and get the same menu for adding a camera!
There should be an "+" in the very right side of the taskbar if you will. Right under the minimize button.
