This didn't work for me. I'm trying to boot from a memory card/flash drive that has a burned image of Linux on it. I see options to boot network, internal storage, CD drive, and windows... No usb/flash drive showing as an option and selecting internal storage doesn't work either.

you need to plug in the flash drive (stick) into a USB and restart the laptop pressing F12 and in the oprions you will see it :)

Uefi is beat dont switch to legacy. Only switch to legacy if you are installing new os as your old os will be wiped off
