How does autofocus work. It looks like you just demonstrated manual.

Cool stuff! I'll probably see you out flying sometime, I'm in the same locations all the time

The camera you are using to film yourself is much sharper with much more details. I think the older X3 camera looked sharper with much more detail, the X5 is a DJI white elephant.

+Bobster986 x5 is a little softer for sure, but much more cinematic looking. And you can always add sharpening in post.

+Jason Maughan did you calibrate the lens before you used it?

What is the Battery life difference?
Other posts in blogs have said it's not much difference at all. But you seem to see some difference and a bit more honest.
    Thanks

+5280 Sky I get around 12-14 min, depending on wind and the kind of flying I'm doing.

old reply but yes its quite substantial as the drone also handles differently, you can hear it in the motor prop noise as well. But I usually get around 15-16 min with a TB48 battery, closer to the 10-12 minutes on the TB47 battery. Still a great run time for the camera footage quality and vibrant colors in the X5.

Nice tutorial. I have a shoot tomorrow and just got the X5 a few days ago. This tutorial confirmed what I already assumed about the X5 and gave some insight to the manual focus aspect of it.
The only confusing thing is the AF/MF hard switch vs. soft switch in software. Does the soft switch defeat the hard switch? I'm away from my Inspire for the next 4 hours, is why I ask.

    Hi
    great video!!
    I'm using X5R RAW.
Do you have special videos about video settings in HD and 4K?
I'm just to figure out about perfect settings and especially sharpening!!
I use standard lens and Olympus Zuiko 1.8 with 25mm.
Which lens is better? I guess Olympus?
    Thanks for reply
    kind regards
    André

In your opinion, was the upgrade to the Inspire Pro's X5 worth the price difference from the V2.0's Z3? I'm curious because I want to upgrade, but unsure of which Inspire to purchase. Thanks for any feedback!

You should record and upload in 4K to see the difference.

Nice Footage. did you have to attach anything to help with the balance when adding the ND filter? Or is it a matter of just screwing it on and flying.

    • @jasonmaughan8578
      @jasonmaughan8578 8 ปีที่แล้ว

+Richard Van Wyk The camera comes with a step-down like ring attached to the lens meant to be replaced by a filter. So yep- just took that off, added the nd and it was good to go.
