i've owned this drone and i love it. People will not look around when using a mavic but if you send this thing in the air you will definitely impress your clients
Divil22 yeah that's somewhat true, but a lot of people hate drones these days and the "Karen's" don't care if you're following FAA rules or not they just hassle you for flying 😂
The camera makes this drone awesome. The camera has a four third sensor so more edit possibility. The camera has a lenssystem so you can choose lenses. The legs of the drone go up and makes it possible to shoot 360 without turning the drone
Still love flying the Inspire 1. This and the Mini 2 are the perfect combination. The Mini 2 can be flown everywhere but no chance following an object that to does not go in a straight line. The Inspire 1 in dual operator mode allows for that. Just wish DJI would provide an updated camera to make enough of a difference. Just imagine DJI would have kept the I1 in store, as a 1500USD system. More than enough space between a Mavic and the I2.
But flying that close to a tree without looking at the drone where it is flying is difficult and dangerous. With dual operator, the pilot flying can concentrate purely on flying the drone. The other guy can control the camera, focus, aperture, direction, zoom and at the same time think about composition without worrying about crashing the drone. So I would forget the word "easily" from this sentence.
The advantages to the inspire are far and beyond what you could get with a Mavic or Phantom. Framing is benefited by superior motion ability Dynamic Range and BOCA supplied by the X5R camera and olympus lenses Footage is much more steady due to aircraft weight as well, much more like heli footage than mavic footage.
I've owned the Inspire for 3 years now and always loved it. Impressive for clients to see and brings your professional standard up a notch. Trouble I'm currently having is now finding batteries. I'm in Aus and they are getting rare. DJI possibly discontinued manufactured parts now the Inspire 2 has been out awhile.
We bought 2 Inspire 1 V2.0 units about 12 months ago. One sits idle as a backup unit, the other we use the Remote that came with that one, as a Camera remote for the Unit we DO use. each unit was only $1500 each as REfurb units via Kogan. SO that means 2 Remotes, 2 Batteries, and 2 units for $3000AUD. Then an extra $300 a few months later for the TB48 battery - so we get roughly 45 min in the air on a shoot, or longer if we charge batteries on site. Also predominately I control camera as a single operator - it's pretty easy with the Inspire, and I still enjoy the Smooth yet fast capabilities of the Inspire even over the Mavic 2 Pro. It just gives such a beautiful cinematic picture every time. Have been debating whether we get an Inspire 2...Just don't want to be dissapointed if it doesn't severely out perform the Inspire 1 - as originally we had anticipated the Mavic 2 Pro would do... :(
Still out of my price range but there is an inspire on for sale from goodwill $750 for it, and 7 batteries, and still shiny without a spec of dust like it was t ever even flown before
Still a great drone, it keeps up good even in gusty winds and it's great to be able to pan in 360 degrees with the camera and the 2 operator possibility. Perfect to have the Inspire 1 and a smaller dji as a combo.
I love my inspire 1 v2. No issues even though dji hasn't updated the drywall in 3 years I think. Either way great tool, sold my typhoon h after I purchased the inside just an incredible platform.
Great Video! But here is some quick recommendations: When you show the cinematic footage from the inspire, I would switch to a 2.35/1 cinematic aspect ratio and heavily colored grade it so its a big difference from the BTS footage. Just some thoughts
Mine gathers dust. They're hard to find replacement parts for if you need them now. Also, they're not making the batteries anymore. You can get some aftermarket setups to increase battery. Also, you can fly thermal with the XT, but it is not cheap. It is the fun big drone I cut my teeth on in the industry.
I still love mine! And presentation is definitely part of it, when I pull up to a client with my mavic, I don't feel the same sense of professionalism coming from the customers eyes as when I unload the Inspire.
I Bought a used inspire 1v2 , 2nd flight dropped out the sky, had fixed 4th flight dropped out sky, major damage, quote from dji twice what I paid for drone. Problem, batteries showed charge and plenty of voltage in DJI app. Drone said different and shut down motors twice in air critical voltage. Amazing drones but beware of battery issues.
Thanks for sharing excitement. I have been doing FPV divings with my helicopter (250 grams) with a 19-inch prop that can't be done with quadcopters. Hello, I'm currently looking to a pretty good deal on Inspire 1 x5. I also have mavic air 2. Could someone answer a couple of questions of mine? I would really appreciate it 1. You can control the aperture during flight, yes? 2. What about zoom? (If it's Olympus 14-42 for example) 3. Can you change focus during flight? 4. Is the Inspire 1 still good in 2020? Well... yes and no. Overall it is still a great performing drone, performance wise....I think they still rock. Here is why it is a big NO and unfortunately the "no's" out-way the "yes". The drone has been discontinued as of 2020. That means that all of the parts and accessories have become a commodity, including the needed batteries. For now the parts and accessories are not too badly priced. That will change going forward. Batteries I think used to be around $185 ish...? They are now as high as $300 everywhere you look.; ebay, Amazon. Normal retailers don't have them. Some other parts and accessories are doing the same thing. I wouldn't pay $300 for a battery. Myself, I like to have more batteries then I need, at least 5 to 6 per drone. I wanted to go a head and put an I-1 together for fun and maybe a few other things but the battery cost make it too costly now and not worth it. They are great birds, but very quickly becoming a dead bird as well... your call...
I have an opportunity to purchase one of these from someone I know for about $800 with the X5 camera unit (with the handheld gimbal as well) and 4 batteries (2 regular and 2 extended), should I do it?
Do you have a link to which zenmuse x5 camera you purchased? I just picked up an Inspire 1 and would like to upgrade the camera. Do you know if every X5 will work with the inspire 1?
It’s now 2023 and the points you raised are in my opinion still relevant inspire with X5 are still fetching about $ 300 CAD more expensive in your now expert and experienced opinion go for x3 or do I go the extra mile and get the X5 ?? Thanks fir doing what you do , I’m now subbed and liked and sent the video clip to my Son hopefully it will help your Chanel a little . 👍
Full disclosure, I didn't 'dislike', but I took the title a little more seriously than I should have. I'm guessing the dislikers didn't expect 20yo 'kids' playing with a new toy. The goofy laughing and the tension between the drone owner and they rest of the guys was palpable. They didn't really know what they were doing, but having fun. I think someone looking at an Inspire (over much better and much more affordable DJI prosumer drones of 2020+) are looking for a more professional opinion about viability of the Inspire 1 platform, given the scarcity and absurd cost of batteries, cost of parts, etc. Just my 2c.
What funny timing for this video to come out. I was just looking into the old Inspire 1 as I recently got my drone license from Transport Canada. My thinking is with the new drone laws that were passed a couple years ago in Canada making the world of aerial photography/cinematography a lot less accessible, those few with their licenses will be in a lot higher demand, meaning the investment should pay for itself rather quickly.
I remember the time when DJI first released the 'technology' of being able to catch their drones and not needing to land them on a flat surface for the phantom 3. And now there is people *cough cough* that just completely disregard the potential hazard and the drone's legs and just catch it...
Wow dji inspire is the best one.... btw have you ever make an advertisement video fir a resort only with a drone let say wit a dji spark or mavic? Is it possible just inly with a drone?
Hi! Get some link? Asap need this for this price. Ebay is 400-500€+ and czech republic 800-1300€. Link and help please send to info@ondrejsellner.cz - Thank you very much! Andrew
@@seanwan30 X7 is not compatible with the Inspire 1. Besides batteries are not being made any longer, I see prices dropping because of this. A 2nd hand basic I1 with 2 remotes, a couple of batteries and x5r goes for 2500 Euro's / 3000 Dollars at most.
the inspire 1 flies and sounds so good. i know where it is and how it moves. the mavic air and mavic pro, i have to rely on the video on my phone to know where it is.
Interesting video guys. While I've seen the Inspire 1 (even got to fly it for about one battery worth of time), was unaware of the two controller function. Find that really awesome. Like the idea of one person flying, while the other person does the camera work. I've seen that type of set up with professional LARGER drones (six blades), but find it interesting the Inspire will do the same. No... not running out to buy an Inspire. My 2Pro will be just fine for years to come. (Need to continue to practice my manual cinematic movements.... Practice.... Practice.... Practice) Keep up the good work.

can we get a counter how many times we got the word "parallax" in this video
And also dynamic

What is parallax anyway?
pierre jean when you have a subject in the foreground moving one way and one in the background moving the opposite, creating a very dynamic feeling

I LOVE YOU GUYSSSSS you guys made me fall in love with film making!
Totally agree 😁👍
can you transition from handheld inspire 1 to areal?
What funny timing for this video to come out. I was just looking into the old Inspire 1 as I recently got my drone license from Transport Canada. My thinking is with the new drone laws that were passed a couple years ago in Canada making the world of aerial photography/cinematography a lot less accessible, those few with their licenses will be in a lot higher demand, meaning the investment should pay for itself rather quickly.
How far can this thing go? I had a phantom pro but at about half a mile I wouod loose trans mission. I hated it. Will this do 1 mile range?
You can use 2 controllers with the Mavic Pro 2.
I remember the time when DJI first released the 'technology' of being able to catch their drones and not needing to land them on a flat surface for the phantom 3. And now there is people *cough cough* that just completely disregard the potential hazard and the drone's legs and just catch it...
Men have higher injury rates. But we are damn cool
@@Acavando Who cares about getting injured if we look cool am I right?
@@lukeh6704 Literally yes
@@lukeh6704 I can tell your a smart man.
Nice video guys !!!
Wow dji inspire is the best one.... btw have you ever make an advertisement video fir a resort only with a drone let say wit a dji spark or mavic? Is it possible just inly with a drone?
Can’t wait too see what else we can capture in the near future
10:41🔥🔥 I am in position...😀😀😂😂😂
Luv ur videos ❤️❤️
Did I understand that correctly, 2800 CAD?
In Austria the Inspire 1 is selling used for 250€...
Hi! Get some link? Asap need this for this price. Ebay is 400-500€+ and czech republic 800-1300€. Link and help please send to info@ondrejsellner.cz - Thank you very much! Andrew
Great video but quick question, if the drone has landing gear then why didn’t you land it instead of catching it?
Because of the dust.
20K lmaoooo
Dude, no way.
Right? Looking at my Inspire 2 that was barely over $4k and laughing.
IKR, the most expensive it ever was is 8000, with all accessories of course. the matrice series doesn't cost that much.
This... Exactly...
@@seanwan30 in that case i've said nothing 🙂
U guys have drone pilot license?? I think you need one in Canada now!❤️
Do they shoot video in 30 fps ???
You didn't mention the work flo if the dng raw footage or the micro four thirds lens mount.
The 360 drone cam can easily do that panning in high speed hehe
This world my fevorite. Drone inspir only.
the inspire 1 flies and sounds so good. i know where it is and how it moves. the mavic air and mavic pro, i have to rely on the video on my phone to know where it is.
i got mine about 900.- (1 remote)and repair needing x5 for 200.- (yaw motor thing ) good drone
I love this drone, where can a buy a fairly used from an Original owner who upgraded or from store
The Inspire 2 is not $20,000. The best kit with the X7 camera tops out at $9,000.
Obv price changes after 3 years you re re
Interesting video guys. While I've seen the Inspire 1 (even got to fly it for about one battery worth of time), was unaware of the two controller function. Find that really awesome. Like the idea of one person flying, while the other person does the camera work.
I've seen that type of set up with professional LARGER drones (six blades), but find it interesting the Inspire will do the same.
No... not running out to buy an Inspire. My 2Pro will be just fine for years to come. (Need to continue to practice my manual cinematic movements.... Practice.... Practice.... Practice)
Keep up the good work.
Do yourself a favor and wear sunglasses when hand catching the Inspire. The force of the blades is not a joke.
I have too and it's perfect only one problem it's not for first time drone player actually he fall down whit only one wrong control
everytime i get a notification, im right here! This is going to be great!
