I really like that we have the right to look like ourselves.

So tell me why do they still wear wigs weaves lace fronts extensions etc when they cried out for this crown act, wasn't that a waste of time ? Please don't reply with protective style because that's an excuse

This is brilliant but you could have had some racially unambiguous Black women on the panel, its 2024.

It needs to start by not bringing up young girls to believe their is ugly. It starts at home

Women like to change their hair. That is why you see so many different looks.

Forcing people to like, accept, or hire you through legislation will only cause the opposite intended effect. A hiring manager is not obligated to tell you why he/she decided not to hire you. Discrimination will always exist in America, WHY?, because being a free country comes with the good and bad. You can try to rid this country of bias, prejudice, and discrimination but all you will do is cause people to make their decisions NOT to hire you to stay behind close doors. Before, at least you would get hired and the expectation to change your hair was communicated with you. Now, the Crown Act will prevent you from even having an opportunity to be hired in the first place. The Crown Act will hurt more black people than help.

The Crown ACT is necessary and long overdue. It won't hurt Black people vs the comment.
