Привет, коллега. Хотел поинтересоваться-вы на фронтонах подпирающие столбики не вылаживаете, чтобы фронтон от ветра не завалился??а то мы выкладываем такие подпорки. Привет из России.
Been watching team Collison for a while now, great stuff Charlie 👍 One question though as I'm not a brickie.... Sometimes you furrow the bed, and sometimes you don't, does that depend on brick or is it just how you feel 🤔
I don’t furrow it because I find I get a more full bed and also quicker to spread along the wall, and can also use the excess to peep a brick which saves going back to the spot board but it’s each to there own
The fascia and soffit are done Charlie, that’s the finish! Why are you leaving like half brick voids? That’s a big hole the rendering crew needs to fix and it will always crack or be a problem. I’m not being a hater, just genuinely interested why you couldn’t just run the bricks in a bit further past the soffit line and avoid those holes? 06:38 You see at least 3 08:06 🤷

excuse my ignorance just a humble plumber but where did this gable transform from a cavity (this must be in roof space ) and why not use a better bond !! header stretcher in stead of going up 2 stretcher courses or is it all based on time/cost .
3 mins 14 seconds you can see it’s a double garage I’m assuming it’s a double…if there’s no cavity that normally indicates towards a garage as a house always has a cavity
It’s a garage gable. Single skin once you put the lintel on a course of soldiers run one across the top and carry on up in 4 inch. The garages get boarded. But we still have to double joint which is a nightmare in summer

Top videos Charlie 😊
What's the link for the hammer 🔨 please?
Do you find the wall to be pissed as you follow ladder/fascia board which are most of the time out of plumb quite a bit?
All the time. Just finished 3 houses so 6 gables and only 1 was bang on
@@Lee-ou6ps me gaffer used to rip the soffits off and get us to build the gable end plumb, joiners were not impressed haha
@@marceaumouchene6264 😂😂 I’m getting to that point myself

Hi Charlie, enjoy your videos but didn't you show us you doing gables before only you said you start from the middle to line the person up

What the best brick lines to
Use ?
You learn more off these video than i did at college. This looks so much easier than building small corners each side

It’s a garage.. a garage doesn’t have a cavity. He is using stretcher bond as you can see it’s half bond stick to plumbing my mate lol
does not show its a garage in vlog
regardless would a different bond be stronger @@xyieni4535

Question is... would you buy a new build house
no way build my own save 60k

Hey Charlie I have a good way for you to build those gables. Would you like me to do a video on my channel explaining?
