Find the footage from the concert where Dave broke his leg to really appreciate what Taylor meant to the band and Dave. Taylor carried the concert while they fixed Dave up and was singing both parts of Under Pressure while drumming. Fan footage isn’t the best quality but man… Taylor’s smile when Dave joins in mid-song says it all.

Thats when they cemented their legacy of a band for the fans! Dave falls off stage, apologizes to the audience, band rushes to him. Taylor takes over singing for a bit, and Dave comes back, on stage to finish the show, with the dr holding his broken leg, in place. Thats rock and a work ethic that only a kid who lived for concerts understands. Taylor was amazing, in so many ways. Nicest band in the business.

I’ve seen them three times and they always put on such a great show. They’re as dad rock as it gets, but their energy on stage is like no other. I hope the Foos carry on; they bring a lot of fun to their fans.

An amazing artist and very much the contemporary of Stewart Copeland. Safe to say unlike the Foo Fighters, Sting would NEVER have allowed Stewart to get up in the middle of a live set in order for Stewart to take lead vocals! The Foo Fighters took live performance to a whole new level by not taking themselves overly seriously.

I have always adored Foo Fighters, and while I can't say that they regularly made my rotation as far as daily listening goes. Having seen them perform live in 2018, I can easily say they are the best live performance I have ever seen. While seeing bands like Tool and Rammstein were amazing, nothing made me smile and feel happier during a live performance than seeing Foo Fighters. And it saddens me that I will never truly get that feeling again without Taylor and Dave's dynamic.

Their last show was actually a few days later in Argentina, he performed this there as well, and it was televised. He was just like Dave, a frontman sitting behind the drums.

This version was better though. He was on fire at this show.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but damn, that was awesome! Mike, you're in my old stomping grounds. I grew up in Rockville. Maryweather, Cap Center, 9:30 club, etc. Miss those days. Hope you're well.

Thanks again Michael ! This one hurt probably more because of the bond that Dave and Taylor had. It's hard to find a best friend like they were for each other. So, Sad. Cheers.

Definitely give Grohl's Storyteller book a read or listen. I finished it a couple weeks back and it's really great.

In my adult life 3 deaths in music have wrecked me. Chris, Chester, and Taylor. I hope they are rocking together! RIP

This one really hit hard. I was watching videos before Taylor died of him and Dave at different performances. I was watching him singing live at the Chris Cornel benefit a few hours before the news of his death hit. RIP Taylor

Dave Grohl heard Australia was opening its boarders after our long lockdowns and wanted to be the FIRST international band to play in Australia.
Just 3 weeks ago The Foo Fighters where playing a one off show in Gelong Victoria.
They made a lot of people very happy.

I'm picking this up from a comment on the original video, but the "CB 700" Taylor wrote on his bass drum was apparently a joke - CB 700 is a crappy entry-level drum kit that a lot of drummers get when they're just starting out.
RIP Taylor, you glorious muppet you.
