Nice tutorial. Things I've found: you MUST give the Mimo app a range of permissions, including precise location. If refused, it will not allow camera use, and it will not do things like update firmware.
Something about osmo mobiles is that they're always easy and fun to use!

Quicker features than any om to date. With auto power on, off and buttons this will be a nice upgrade for quicker shooting

Ajuda eu reclamar no site deles, no canal deles pra fazerem uma atualização pra arrumar os pontos negativos, um deles é o brilho da tela que a gente não tem o controle, diminuí o brilho da tela pra economizar carga da bateria, mais o aplicativo deles ao se conectar com o om6 volta o brilho acima da média o que é uma sacanagem com a gente, não tem a opção de desativar
The iPhone 16 Pro Max with the phone case weighs 295 grams. According to the OM6 specifications, it supports up to 290 grams. Would using it with the case cause any issues?

Thanks a lot for your perfect video,I do have a critical question. If I turn on the device without opening the DJI app and simply start filming with my mobile phone camera, will it absorb shocks and reduce noise? Or is it necessary to only film using the app?
To be honest, today I began reviewing my recorded videos for editing, and I was shocked to find that most of them have a noticeable footstep pattern while walking, accompanied by annoying jumps in the video. I'm unsure of the reason behind this, as I consistently ensure to turn on the device before starting to film. Could you assist me with this issue?

Hello, there. Osmo Mobile 6 is compatible with most smartphones on the market. It is recommended to use smartphones with a width of 67-84 mm, a thickness of 6.9-10 mm, and weight of 170-290 g.

@@DJITutorials Thanks for responding. I do intend to buy both the DJI OM 6 and the S23 to use together. I'm bothered that the S23 is not listed in the compatibility list even if the specs of the phone fall well within range, very much like the iPhone 14 Pro, which seems to be the darling device for this gimbal.

Add face tracking to rear camera. I shoot a lot of solo stuff and I can’t track myself using the rear camera if I’m not in the scene to begin active track.

I want the rear camera to track me. I’ve tried locking onto something near where I’m going to stand in the frame but when I move it doesn’t follow.
I can’t be in the scene to draw a box around because I need to operate the record and active track first.
Ok I’ve just found out from another tutorial that you can use hand gestures to activate active track on the rear camera.

Pressing once and then pressing and holding does NOT allow me to set the follow speed.
I would find it very useful to do timelapse with preprogrammed movements as the apps allows but with a shutter speed slower than 1/30th of a second, this would allow for long exposures needed for my current vision but it would seems a pretty useful function in general.
as a beginner and nothing to compare it with. The timelapse settings are very impressive for me.
Does this work with other camera apps you like TH-cam shorts and TikTok?

@@Stefanboom You can only connect the gimbal to the phone with Bluetooth but some functions in the DJI Mimo app are unable to be utilized.

Dji says yes it will work. The max load for the Om 5 is 290 grams, IPhone 14 pro max with case is approx 255 grams
I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max with a UAG case and it works while the case is on. My previous gimbal was the DJI OM4 and I had to remove the case each time which was a hassle. Now I just leave my phone in my pocket with the magnet clamp on, then when I quickly need to shoot video, just attach it to the gimbal and record.

Does the zoom wheel work when doing a Facebook live video?
My thing isn’t moving I think I got it on lock how do I change it
When using the zoom wheel, wish you could set the zoom speed in the Mimo app. The wheel looks like it's preset to fast. You'd have to turn the wheel very carefully and slowly to get a super smooth zoom. Probably would have been better to have had the zoom feature incorporated with the pan button, then by changing modes you can use the same button to zoom in and out.

@@hayousef89 There is only a speed setting for the Follow Mode and the Joystick Speed; no speed control for the Side Wheel which controls zooming in and out.
I found "mimo app" can't shoot 10bit depth on iphone, maybe someone have a solution or i was doing smth wrong?

It should because of the phone clamp that's adjustable. Getting mine in a few days so will let you know
Mounted my S22 Ultra with a hard protective case on it with no problems. Doubt anything larger would fit though
@@revyandhita4752 I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max with a rugged UAG case and it works WITH the case on. The clamp on this new OM6 is bigger than one on my old OM4. I thought the gimbal may struggle with added weight of the case, but it held up fine with no problems.
I'm using mine w a Samsung S22 & cover case (otterbox, if that helps. It's not a bulky case)

Can I still use the dJI om6 without the app and alao without internet??
You can stabilize your phone and use the factory camera and even change modes and steer with the joystick or isolate movement with the trigger. You can't use the zoom/focus wheel or dig into any of the software based features.
i JUST BOUGHT ONE OF THESE. I HAVE BEEN CHARGING IT FOR FIVE HOURS, IT STILL WAS BLINKING GREEN. I UNPLUGGED IT TO CHECK HELP VIDEOS. NO HELP. PLUGGED BACK INTO THE CHARGER CORD AND NOW IT IS A BLINKING RED. I CHECKED THE VIDEOS FOR "STATUS LIGHTS" AND NO HELP. PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS!!

@@DJITutorials I did it already, but very bad answer my friend , correct answer is to go to settings on mimo app choose quick launch it will send you to iOS mimo app settings location - while using the app - precise location. I spend to many time trying to figure it out.
