Is it weird that I like hearing you had a large variety of previous debts? I mean, I've watched your videos for a while now so I know you have debts you paid off, but it's nice to know others have a variety of debt like I currently do. So happy for you on the debt payment!!

You have been doing amazing in this series, Katie. I really believe that you can get debt-free sooner than you think because you are on fire! But also don't put too much pressure on yourself to be perfect. Life is going throw curveballs your way, but I know you and your family can tackle those challenges together!

Thank you for that, Brooke! I do think it’s possible that we could finish sooner, but I definitely don’t want too much pressure. I know if I do our too much pressure on it and don’t do well, I’ll give up, so I’m trying to use a goal that I know we can hit, even if we do have some hiccups along the way 😊

Wow, crazy to see that number! Way to go on all of your efforts with debt payoff. I love looking and talking about the numbers too! It is finally exciting. I know back when I would pay my minimums with "extra" I would just live my life and not see actual progress. Not until I started budgeting and saw there was actually way more room than I had thought!

It’s wild how much difference budgeting can make! Once you see where your money is going, it makes to so much easier to cut back and actually have money for goals. Thanks so much for watching, Allison! 💜🤍

Congratulations on such a big debt payment. This year I might even have a bit extra leftover after the holidays. I remember so many years that Christmas was on a cc. Then I’d try to pay it off in January but not all billing cycles worked out so it went into February. Those days were horrible. Ugg!!
I’m glad you get to enjoy the pre holiday week.

Wow, Katie!❤ You should be very proud of yourselfs and your hard work! I feel like you're on the last 100m now that I'm thinking that you were having 5 student debts etc...🎉🎉🎉🎉

It's interesting to see how your husband's job does the student loan repayment benefit. I work for the federal government as well and my agency does a lump sum of up to 10k a year. Rooting for you on your debt pay off journey! 🎉

Oh wow, that’s amazing that you can get it every year! I wish my husband’s employer would do that, too, but unfortunately it’s 10K total.
Thank you so much for the encouragement. It helps so much! ☺️❤️

I think September 2025 is beyond excellent don’t let others put stress on you to push too hard😊

I would love to be out of all of it by next yet, but I do think if we push too hard, we’d get burned out, so I’m just going to do what we can and I’ll be very happy if it’s September 2026 😃❤️

Yes, i think it is very possible that you can end this series in less than 24 months. In the first 2 months you paid (?off) about 12% using very rounded numbers. Both the SoFi and the Highlander balances are high enough, will take a long enough time to pay, and are being paid off with such variable money when they are the debt of interest that calculating much for the nuances of interest payments could have you spinning your wheels. Still, $400+ in interest feels like sooo much. Unless you have some quick and easy to use calculators i would smile as the cents and dollars to interest go down but certainly for at least the next couple of months just plow foreward.

Did you see my note I sent the other way? It will be interesting to see when you become "debt free" (dont forget mortgage.) I suspect it will be Q2 of 2026.
